FORTY RANDOM FACTS ABOUT URARA

1. Urara, in Japanese, means "beautiful" or "serene" - which is ironic, considering it was the name of my loud, obnoxious, very ugly orc character.

2. Urara was named after my Beast Master Hunter on World of Warcraft - another orc with purple hair.

3. If you speak the orcish Blah, you have me to thank. I, along with my ex-boyfriend and his best friend, brought the Blah to LOTC. We were the first orcs to speak it!

 

4. I am 20 years old and a junior in college.

5. I am a Creative Writing Major with a double minor in Studio Art and Art History.

6. I do both digital and traditional art. You can see my art here or here.

7. I used to write crappy WoW and MLP fanfiction, which you can read here, if you want a laugh. I'm no longer a fan of either. XP

8. I have had seven characters over my time on LOTC. One was an orc, one was a Frost Witch, one is an elf, and the last four are/were humans. They are, in order: Urara, Brunhylde, Tanith, Lorin, Gisela, Rosie, and Carden.

9. All of my characters have an associated "character color." Urara is purple (duuuh), Brunhylde is cyan, Tanith is pale pink, Lorin is orange (sometimes black), Gisela is grey or pale blue, and Rosie is yellow or green.

10. Tanith is my tallest character at 6'1". Lorin is the shortest at 5'2" (excluding Rosie, who is still a child).

11. I am the writer and founder of Frost Witch Lore

13. My favorite colors are blue, black, and pink!

14. I have held 2 staff positions in my time on LOTC. I was once an MAT member (had to quit because of personal problems at the time) and I have been recruited for the Lore Team twice (quit due to differences with the staff both times). I've applied for FM twice, but I pulled my application both times.

15. There was once a Cult of Urara on the Off-Topic forum, started by Susitsu and Deltaro Black! It was meant to compete with the Cult of Native and the Cult of Robin Drake.

16. All of my characters were/are some form of nobility among their species. Urara was the daughter of Rex Mogroka, Brunhylde was the leader of her coven, Tanith is a countess of Oren, Lorin is a marquess of Oren, Gisela was a baroness of Oren, Rosie is the princess of Kaedrin, and Carden (my newest character) is a nobleman in Oren.

17. In August, I will have my second anniversary of playing LOTC! Time sure does fly.

18. I have only ever had one ban. My ban appeal got 80 reputation and is currently the 6th highest rated post on the forums.

 

19. As of this writing, my profile has over 22k views.

20. My character, Brunhylde, had every available VA evil at one point.

21. In August, my character, Tanith, will have worked for the White Rose for one OOC year.

22. I have written seven VAs and 3 MAs across all my characters. None of them have ever been denied. Brunhylde had the most VAs, with four (3 pre-purge and 1 post-purge).

23. My first six characters were all female. I have only recently started working on a male character, Carden.

24. I first started roleplaying when I was ten on Neopets. My neopets RP character was a white lupe.

25. I enjoy doing art trades and skin trades. Contact me if you'd like to trade artwork or Minecraft skins.

26. I have a Planet Minecraft account. You can see it here. It is a bit bare, but that's 'cause I don't want people stealing my character's skins!

27. My character, Urara, was the first female Kheshig and the first female Wargoth of Clan Gorkil. Hoowah, feorcs!

28. I tend to be forgetful. If I've promised to draw you something or make you a skin, feel free to remind me, because I'll forget if you don't.

29. My timezone is EST and my peak hours are usually between 8 PM and 1 AM.

 

30. My favorite city in Anthos is Abresi.

31. When I first joined, LOTC was only about 4 months old.

32. The Frost Witch curse was inspired by the witches from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, because I was a big fan of it at the time.

33. Lago once called me the "Queen of the Lore Forum."

34. My birthday is December 16th and I am a sagittarius. Ironically, none of my characters are archers.

35. All of my characters have a favorite food, as well as a food they hate. Try to find out what they are in RP. :D

36. All of my characters (except Carden because he is a day old) have theme songs. You can find them here. Guess which one goes to which character.

37. I've written quite a few roleplaying guides, but my two biggest ones are my Character making guide and my RP Romance guide.

38. I helped Chaqery edit the current Antagonist lore. I edited his lore pitch and discussed ideas with him while he was still brainstorming it.

39. I am Hadlais on Steam if anyone wants to add me.

40. I have attempted to quit LOTC at least twice. But I keep getting dragged back. Addiction is a powerful thing. :/

It is a Japanese name, though. There's several anime characters with that name. It's funny because I thought it was made up.
