Hanrahan 2983 Share Posted July 15, 2013 ~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~ Letters are sent to the four corners of Anthos, bearing a Neutral seal, requesting them to meet in the grounds of the Cloud Lands, near the Temple. Each letter reads as such. Races of Anthos, We come to you with a message of peace and cooperation. Since the beginning of time there has been battles and wars amongst the different races and subraces and sub-cultures of the world, on each and every continent, but there was a time when the races of the world worked together against a common cause. In Aegis, legends and stories tell of a great evil that rose up in the land, an evil that destroyed all, regardless of differences in appearance or tradition. It held no prejudices, except a prejudice against anything living on the surface of the world. The Undead swept across the land like a curse, and against it stood all those who fought for their lives, their homes, their families, and their people. There was no discrimination against race or tradition then, only a common brotherhood against an evil that did not care who they killed. In that time, the Elves, the Humans, the Orcs, the Dwarves - all races came together. It is for a time like that of the Undead in Aegis that we call for now, a cooperation that has hardly been seen since. In Asulon the races began to quarrel and fight, and bad blood has begun to seep into the hearts of the peoples of Anthos now. Years of fighting has made it difficult for any race to come together as completely as they did in Aegis. It is that kind of companionship and brotherhood that we call upon now. Many of us have seen this new darkness firsthand, as it has attacked our settlements and hurt our peoples. These creatures come without warning, and only give us a slim chance of survival. We have beat them back, but only barely, and with losses. It is time that the peoples of Anthos came together as they did in Aegis long ago. This new threat may not be as the Undead were before, but it is growing in strength, and soon could overwhelm us all. It is time that we banded together to fight this darkness before it can grow to the point that the Undead came to. From the Elves, we ask that your council, your diplomats, and your otherwise important leaders come to share their wisdom and information on this menace. From the Dwarves, we ask that your King, as well as the Clan Leaders of the Mountains come with their stout hearts and stalwart courage to share their strength with the Peoples of Anthos. From the Orcs, we ask that your Chieftans and Shamans come, to share your honor and strength to the cause against this evil. From the Kharajyr, we ask that your Tlatlanni, your leaders, your priests and priestesses attend, with your fantastic pride and your innovative thinking, to use your unique styles and talents against this great horror.*From the Adunians, we ask that your Ard Ri and your Thanes, and the oldway fathers to come, with your heart for freedom for all peoples from any dangers, to uphold that freedom for the Peoples of Anthos. From the Halflings, we ask that your elders come, with your knowledge of life and the ways of prosperity and simply pure happiness to bring peace to the other Peoples of Anthos. From Oren, we ask that your council and your military leaders attend, with your unwavering bravery and the power of your hearts to share with the other Peoples of Anthos. We also call for the leaders of the Mage College to come with their prowess and knowledge of the Arcane to use in might against the Great Antagonist. Together, and with respect, we shall meet in the Cloud Lands, under the safety and protections of the Monks, to speak in council with one another of how we shall defeat this menace, this evil, this Great Antagonist of Anthos. We ask that you respond with the numbers of your company, including, we ask, only two armed escourts - enough to provide safety, but a small enough amount to promote the peace among the People of Anthos that we wish to keep in harmony. From this we can decide a day for this meeting, and come together to fight against the creatures that come to take our homes and lives, as the Undead of Aegis. Together we shall beat back the Great Antagonist of Anthos, and bring a peace not known for many years. *For the Kha specifically, we understand that your race did not face the Undead as ours did. We understand that you bear a hatred toward those you may consider the invaders of your home in Asulon. And so to you, we must extend a special message. Asulon is lost to you, and that is something we all regret, but your home is in Anthos now, and it is now threatened. You may believe you can wait it out, and perhaps you can. But if you should wait it out, should you choose not to band with the other races, and the other races fall because of it, you will be alone against these creatures, and with the power they would then weild, you would not stand a chance. Perhaps you should go to your Goddess. Perhaps She would wish, for the sake of your survival, that you fight with the other Peoples of Anthos. For this cause we ask that your Tlatlanni, your leaders, your priests and priestesses attend, with your fantastic pride and your innovative thinking, to use your unique styles and talents against this great horror, that would not hesitate to destroy us all. *And the Druids, Arcane Delvers and any other Magical orders. ~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~~-------~ ((OOC)) Huge Creds to Chi, who is helping write this. It's going to be on Saturday. I need to find a Neutral time however.

Chikachu 402 Share Posted July 15, 2013 King Lachlan Mor Elendil paces as he dictates what should be written in regard of the Adunians. "The Adunians shall be attending this meeting for the sake of Anthos. We are in number four; myself, Lachlan Mor, and three advisors: Hernan Tuairnear, Hanrahan Brae, and Marshal Gavin Douglas. We come in peace and with good greetings toward all others who may attend." ((Saturday sounds good for those Adunians I've talked to.About four EST? What is that GMT?)) Fid 566 Share Posted July 15, 2013 The Arch Druid snorts as he hears of the gross oversight of his ancient brotherhood. "You invited the dying and withered Mages College, but overlooked the Druidic Order? Amusing." He nevertheless sets about writing his response, which he sends by raven. It reads as follows: The Arch Druid Gavin Cervidus shall be in attendance, along with three other members of our Order, to be named later.

Praetor 1550 Share Posted July 15, 2013 ((No pirates invited :c)) Razani sits in the captains quarters of the Hulking FireStorm, blissfully unaware of the impending danger and meeting. He sips on his fine wine and smokes a rudimentary cigarette, thoughts turned to plunder and destruction.
Heero 4092 Share Posted July 15, 2013 A letter is sent to the origins of the invitation at the hands of a peculiar yet colorful tropical bird. The notice attached to the left ankle of the bird’s legs, dangling by a thick red strap of leather. Upon close examination, the letter holds the wax seal of the Mage’s Guild. Proudly displaying the emblem of the ancient and illustrious Order. To the Organizer of this meeting, I write this letter with what may come off as a bit of shock in the wake of these occurring events in relation to the beasts that dwell within the bounds of the Northern walls of ice and their snowy plains. Within your letter, you requested our assistance to both evaluate these beings on a magical level, and to give aid in battle. Yet it appears you see more value in the form the Guild operating in that of a military organization. Something that we have never behaved as. This has been an obvious detail, the best example I would be capable of presenting was how the Mage’s Guild took a stance of neutrality during the days of Aegis when the Undead began their march of dread and campaigned the destruction of humanity. As it may sound grim, but the Undead were not the evil as many have misjudged them to be. They were a form of divine punishment. One of which that was executed at the hands of the Daemon (A higher being, one of which serves as the boundaries of our realm) of Judgement. Even within the Undead’s unholy appearance, they were still a smite brought forth by the hands of another being. As the matter of these creatures, it is unsure if this is the work of Judgement as it was a century ago, a strange magical phenomenon that has unfolded within Anthos prior or after our arrival, or the hands of another being similar to Judgement’s intentions; all which are unclear. The Mage’s Guild has had a meeting pertaining to these creatures and the events that have unfolded within the Northern border. As it stands, until further evidence it complied in regards to then, the Order shall be taking a stance of neutrality against the forces amassing within the North’s lands to avoid the severe consequences of upsetting the natural balance that could be unfolding. Though if the Guild is still welcomed, it will gladiolus accept the invitation and aid the council with anything pertaining to the issues in relation to the arcane studies. Secondly, I find it a bit discouraging when the Druii have been alienated from this meeting. The Druidic Order has serves just as long as the Mage’s Guild itself and does have it’s own knowledge as I have worked first hand with them in defending their sacred Grove during an incident where these creatures transgressed upon their lands. ~Signed, Archmage Crumena V. Geo 1415 Share Posted July 15, 2013 As the Tlatlanni receives the letter and reads over it he calls a few significant Kharajyr to his sides, informing them of their travel to come. Having a sandstone tablet inscribed with ape words and language, he sends it off to whence the message came. "Sa'vi. The Tlatlanni and his elders shall approach this meeting as asked, only because our sages have foretold that the threat you mention is real. It is not you, but Metztli that calls us to this meeting, and so such is our duty to uphold. We expect not much from this, yet we shall see what wise words you may offer us."

Heff 2460 Share Posted July 15, 2013 Jack The Witcher hears of the letter. He writes a letter and hands it to a courier to be delivered. "To whom it may concern, I, Jack The Witcher, wish to serve ye and form a task force of yer own. A group of witchers whom share a knowledge of monsters and can bring their own knowledge to this council. If I can not gather any other witchers I wish to attend the meeting any ways. I really believe if I were to add my knowledge of these beasts and others we could carefully plan this attack. Sincerly, The Witcher Jack Spade "
