The flame-guttered and time-worn ruins of the once notoriously famous Dreadfort still stand, despite the best efforts of those whom would wish to desecrate and remove them. If one were to look more closely, you would see the movement of many labourers and workers, the sounds of hammering and sawing as work begins on the restoration of the citadel. 

However, one cannot deny the scent of fear and the paranoia brought about by their proximity to the beasts of the North - every worker checks over his shoulder or looks up at the sky, expecting every moment to be his last as a Hiishtgul or Kambasor bears down upon him. However, the dark citadel - lit by a backdrop of lava and flames - remains silent. It seems that the abominations that infest the place are busy elsewhere, for now.

This is just an OOC information post to clear up some confusion. The Dreadfort was never meant to be 100% removed - I have asked the builders and owners about this. So, in RP, the dreadfort ruins have /always/ been there, so I decided, with the approval of the land owners, to replace the ruins in their rightful location. Hopefully this should provide a good site for roleplay against the Antagonist.

((It had been a long time, doesn't matter, they are how they are. Also I'd appreciate it if people didn't mess around in there too much whilst we dig out some of the rooms which were screwed up in world edit.))

Lark Steelwall stands in a dark room, the glow a pair of eyes infront of him, illuminating his face. He grins. "Mephisto Prime..it is time..."

 

The golem roars to life, Lark pulls a lever and an elevator brings the two out of the Dreadfort. "Go. Destroy Greywyn." The golem does as its bid, one might imagine the golem has grin on its face.

Lorik looks at the ruins, just imaging how superb it would look when fully restored, then goes back to work, reducing the rubble to dust.

I would like to point out that we are not going to restore it. we are going to build a ghetto area for our va members after this antag biz is over in that location. we will build it up enough to be functional. It is not going to be another Dreadfort.))

((Guys, the Dreadfort near Hanseti was burned to the ground during a dispute, and it ended up collapsing completely. It would just be rubble. We had a small event, and I'm pretty sure a topic was made a long time ago about it.))

(There is no way the Dreadfort still stands.))

 

Unfortunately i've got two conflicting sides to this story, and this one seemed more interesting than leaving some griefy-looking hole in the ground.
