Your View: Map Expansion

Basically, what the title asks.

 

By map expansion, I mean adding new land/areas to explore/build in. Think of it as a content patch rather an expansion release. 

 

What would you like to see, if so? Or perhaps you're against the idea entirely? 

 

Let us know!

 

We've got some ideas in the work but feedback is always appreciated.

As long as there's horses so you can get there quickly there can be as much land expansions as you want, after all more space to expand the story on

I say yes! I absolutely adore getting lost in Anthos and if we can get more land that is fitted so beautifully then the experience will only get better.

 

Con to it: There might be more towns which will continue to further split the playerbase. If there is anyway to stop that, then it'd be perfect.

With the current system, more land means more empty settlements, unless there's a way to stop this, then I'd leave it as it is.

More natural beauty to explore. Few mobs, safe travel stations, so you can spend 15 minutes + just traveling. NO settlements in between.

More islands, or perhaps finally the ability to explore the north? Sure, no allowing nations to settle, but such a large area would be wonderful for RP.

Maybe an idea with a volcano going off and forming a new part of land off of Anthos or possibly new islands to be formed. Just an idea.

The current system was 'give nations land then allow them to settle it'. If anyone is to blame, look towards the players that decided to form a town with two other people, then abandon it because everyone else was already situated in similar towns or their capitals.

 

There's nothing wrong with players creating their own settlements. It just flops when they decide to play one of their zillion alts and not dedicate time towards growing their town.

Would the current system be just to say no to any requests in the new land?

I would say for exploring of possible relics and history as well as perhaps moving a settlement/town there for more space. Player choice of course, not forced.
