Your View: Map Expansion

Just a suggestion:

yeah, extend dem lands but:
   - When certain towns appear there should be a section of the staff that specifically makes the towns slowly be taken over by nature ( ET builders)

-Once the town is taken over, all regions for the town will be removed (If it is a ghost town) So it will look like ruins

Like it?  Dislike it?

I've been thinking about something like this, but I don't know. I'd like to hear opinions from members of the event team first. I'd hate to saddle them with a potentially time-consuming, boring job.

I honestly think there shouldnt be much map expansion just due to the fact that it might draw people away from main rp hubs such as Abresi and malilor etc

A small cluster of Islands big enough to make a Nation on that way the Great Nation of Valkyria will actually be able to have space to exist without having to go to war with the land and armies we do not have.

Add more land but in doing so don't make it so players can build on it at least not without good reason and even then at best perhaps allow outposts and research stations. Instead make the area interesting with ruins, strange tribal villages abandoned by their people, ect.

This new land won't be close by and making a town out in them makes no RP sense, it would be dangerous, unlikely you could keep supplied with the needed resources to feed/eqquip the people and the area would be highly dangerous to small unguarded towns with like 2-3 guards.. On the other had watch outposts for like 2-3 soldiers from a nation makes some sense because the nations would want to keep an eye out for happenings. Same goes for research stations for exploration/scholar guilds who want a place to prepare their expeditions. These wouldn't be places for players to live but like occupational job locations that are very secure and built to blend into the land.

I think an expansion would be very good. We'd get more land and everyone'd be happy.

I personally say lets have a tsunami and shrink the land to the size of Elysium because the rp I got there was best~

I'd love to see more land available!

Perhaps even... a floating (As in, flying) island chain?   :3

I both want and don't want the new land.

I feel the same way.

The moment I was accepted into LoTC I strapped my crappy wooden sword to my back and took on a full on jump-sprint to every single settlement on the main roads; 40% of them were ghost-towns. It seems like there are 'RP hotspots' on the server, which focuses a lot of people into one area. This is why I don't really want more land; it's like getting a truck load of toys, only to play with a few of them.

tl;dr:

I want new toys; but let us play with our current ones a bit more.

No thankyou, Unregion the land we already have. Expanding the map further like the way I think you have in mind is rediculous. Unless there is something against players settling there.

Moved to the Great Library. It shall be sorted into appropriate category shortly.
