  1. [!] The way of witch doctors was not an easy one. It was filled with curses, unfavorable pacts, and worst of the darkness the spirit realms had. Still, Kretz'Ox had chosen it, as he knew that the pain of it could teach and that the darkness of it could heal. To those who wanted to learn the ways from him he made sure to warn, and to those he taught he made sure to tell the stories of the past. He knew he couldn't stop them, but maybe he could quide them. Exiled and exhausted, like many orcs probably were at this point, Kretz spent his elderly years trying to help his family any way he could. When the parrots flew to him with a letter from Kiyoko, Kretz opened it with a bright smile, happy to hear from his grandaughter after such a long time apart. Oh how wonderful it would to meet her again and talk about everything that has happened since they last saw.. When was the last time they saw? Kretz sighed as his failing memory couldn't bring a proper answer. None the less, he finally began to read the letter. "Mi took lat in because mi know what it's like to be alone." "Mi do nub mind that lat's skin wasn't blue." "Mi told lat those stories to warn lat, nub to tell lat what to do." "Mi forgive lat, if lat forgive mi kub." By the end the letter was stained by tears.
  2. So, my character Kretz is a weird looking half goblin, half high elf combo. I understood that this would bring him some challenges in the world even if he did his best to hide it, but this is probably the worst experience: Not too long after the bee update in Arcas, Kretz found a lone bee wandering around and thought that it might have escaped a nearby settlement. Trying to be nice, he led it back there and even waited for while for someone to show up. Lo and behold, some people did show up! By flying to him in creative and surrounding him in the first emote, immediately pointing their weapons at him! He was taken captive, his mask was removed to reveal that he was mixed race, and then he was promptly burned on a stake to "cleanse the world of him". Lost 2 of my favorite parrots there too, what great ******* RP.. Another one of these type of moments was when he was arrested for wearing a mask in one city. He paid the fine for it, but still was killed for being an orc. Other than these kind of experiences the character can not even remember, he tends to be at odds with the orcs now and again. He used to be their Yazgurtan for a good while and has gathered a bunch of knowledge about them, but he feels like he is rarely listened to. To rub salt in the wound, he built the first city at the start of this map, just for it to get replaced not too long after by something he had tried to get the orcs away from.
  3. [!] Outside the city, in his own secluded hut an old man thinks of his life. The places he has been to, the people he has met, and the events that led him to be here today. He can not help but feel nostalgic as he does so, smiling joyously from visiting some of his happiest memories, just to realise them to be long gone and slowly fading away. After a moment of thought the old man picks up a pen and starts to write. Piece upon piece of paper, he makes as many missives he can before setting his parrots to spread them across the world. Maybe they’ll find their way to those he knew, or maybe not. At least he has given it a try. - CALL FOR THE ORCS OF OLD - Wagwan. Mi am Kretz’Ox, an old gobbo trying to record some of our past in Arcas agh Almaris. Unfortunately though, mi have realised that mi memory am nub like it was before. Things have faded with time agh mixed with each other, becoming something incoherent from the truth. This is most likely the case for most of us older folk, but it doesn’t mean that everything is gone. Mi am calling for any older orcs who are willing to join mi in a little event to talk about the old. Mi will do mi best to find some grub, green agh grok to compensate lats agh make the event enjoyable, while mi do mi best to collect all the information. Even if lat do nub have much to say for the records, it would still be nice to meet agh catch up. Mi can nub deny that mi miss many of lats dearly, for it has been way too long since our last meeting. Some of latz mi have possibly even started to forget, which mi am sorry about, but would still appreciate if latz come to remind mi. By the Krug firepit 11th of July Starting 11am EST Free to join and leave as you please (and maybe some other days too)
  4. [!] "******* again?" Kretz'Ox would complain as he heard the news. "Thiz Rex aktualli zeemed hozh too! For zkash saik.." Seems like the cycle will never end.
  5. How does it feel to be kinda right about Krug needing to be burned down before orcs can thrive again?
  6. [!] The missive would reach an old shaman outside the desert, brought to him by his parrots. He would ponder it for a moment, before writing a letter and sending his parrots to deliver it. "Wagwan Thalandir. Mi birds have bought mi a copy of lat's missive seeking shomos, agh mi think mi could possibly help with mi students. However, mi would first like to know more about what all of this is about. When ever lat just have the tik for it, could we either meet up to discuss about this, or could lat write mi a letter with the answers? These am the things mi would like to know about: What all have lat already found out about this situation? Why agh for what do lat need shomos exactly? What would the tasks be like? What kind of fights am lat expecting us to possibly face? Mi apologize if these questions seem a lot, it is in mi nature to ask them and figure things out. Nub matter what, mi hope lat luck with the investigation. - Kretz'Ox, "Parrot", Wargoth of the Ox clan "
  7. [!] In the dark, Twiggie-Orc Kretz’Ox, publisher of missives, wielder of the goggles finally rested for a moment. He came here looking for answers and he had finally found them. They may have not been spoken in words, but perhaps actions do indeed sometimes speak louder. Yet as old questions were answered, new ones would appear. There was a bad tendency for that to happen. One of these questions was 'Is this the end?'. Maybe it was the monks or the spirits who answered it, he would never know for the events that led here started to fade from his memory. Kretz'Ox had meant to just take a small nap, but seems like that nap had spiraled into a full night of sleep while he had things to do! Places to be, people to meet, questions to ask and a whole home to decorate. For a while he lost himself in the last task until his parrots would bring him a missive.. "Huh.. Peeps like tei did nub taik mi questions too well.." muttered the newly banished man.
  8. Word of Kretz’Ox Questions to Khan Penned by Kretz’Ox || Imperial 1999|| S.A 203 || For years now I have tried to get answers to these questions, but have not managed to find a single person in the new settlement of Lurak who knows what's going on. Actually, most of the time I have not found anyone there! Just to keep things civil, I’ve tried to leave it at that, just visiting the goi now and again in hopes that someone would be there. Things have gone too far now, so I need my answers. Why is a Canonist leading our nation? Maybe twenty years ago or so he would have been killed for his faith by those who now serve him. Even though I hold the opinion that all of us are free to believe in any faith we want, to make the whole nation follow the orders of a foreign religion is madness. Even worse, he is doing it in the name of Krug! To the Khan, I ask you this: Why have you forsaken the spirits? Why are you working against the interest of your own people’s faith? [!] An old missive has been added here. Why do we follow the church into a battle, especially now against Vortice? For those of you who do not know, Vortice was our ally for a long time. The only reason they are not our ally anymore is because we attacked them. Not only that, Vortice is and has been led by shamans for a long time now. Even though not everyone shares the same faith as us there, the city is still decorated with shrines all around the place. Do we really want to cut down the ranks of already dwindling spiritualists and shamans? To the Khan, I ask you this: Why do you follow the commands of the church? Why are you playing as their little messenger every single time there is war? Are they making you to be their scapegoat, so that all this unnecessary bloodshed will be blamed on our curse, so that the orcs can yet again be the villain of the story? [!] A never missive has been added here. Where are our people? Why is no-one in our lands? Ever since this new city, I've found more orcs outside the goi than in it. Am I just that bad at timing my visits? Or is it true that no-one spends their time there anymore? I’ve been around since Arcas and things have never been this bad. This is truly the rock bottom and I hate it! I worked my ass off to give you a good city, to count your taxes and to keep everything together. I worked for over 100 years, and this is all that it led to? Ruins of the society I once called my home? To the Khan, I ask you this: Why have you let our people die? Where are the nights we came together to drink at the bar, tell stories over a campfire, or have friendly klomps in the pit? Or do you just see our people as an army to command without any regard for their life outside it? I cannot help it, I’ve always been like this. I’ve always been one who needs answers to the questions plaguing my head. I need to make sense of things, understand them the best I can, so please, give me some answers. All I want is for my people to be well, and currently it doesn’t look at all like you are what’s good for them. Please, at least attempt to prove that you are good for the orcs. Wargoth of the Ox clan, Elder of the Orcs, Yazgurtan for 100 years OOC:
  9. [!]"Finalli, finalli!" Kretz'Ox would rejoice as he read through the missive. "Zomazh elze peepz te flawz too! Finalli zomazh elze am doin zomthin!"
  10. [!] Kretz'Ox couldn't help but rejoise at his adoptive son's words, even if the subject matter was decently dire. It was more about the pride he felt for Bon standing up for himself, and he just hoped that they both could finally see a day without being seen as lessers than other descendants.

  12. [!] "Sinze when te skah did we whitewazh 'em? Or am it more like zom general whitewazhin that was sent out?", could be heard wondered out loud by Yazgurtan Kretz'Ox.
  13. [!] It has been years at this point since parrots were seen frequenting the orcish capital, just existing and flying around. Now though conciding with the return of an elderly half-goblin, the sounds of parrots could be heard around the city once again. Few notes, here and there where ever they would matter would appear too, explaining some things for those who did not know. Wagwan taxpayers. Mi, Kretz'Ox have returned from mi vacation agh am azh of the Yazgurtans once again. Mi will especially be looking after the taxes, so here is the basic information: -Taxday is every cactus Sunday -The tax prices are listed in the bank/tax hall -All missed taxes will be kept in mind -Missing taxes 2 times will lead to eviction -Just skahing pay them Do nub cause trouble. - Kretz'Ox
  14. Name: Kretz'Ox Race: Half goblin, half elf Type of Shaman: Witch doctor Teacher(s): Fiil'Yar and Al-Uk'Yar
  15. [!] "Gob, what the skah?!" could be heard almost yelled by one paticular parrot man.
  16. [!] As the civil war among orcs comes to an end, a change is felt in their city of San’Brîu. A change in attitudes, a change in those around, and a change in the sounds that make the city feel alive. It’s like something is missing from there.. Maybe it is the sound of parrots that used to fly around. The city seems to lack them now. High up in the city, a note could be found pinned to the door of the Yazgrutan: Wagwan. This note is to inform anyone it may concern that mi, Yazgurtan Kretz’Ox, have left the goi to wander the world. A vacation of sorts now after roughly 100 years of being in this position. Mi am still planning on returning eventually. The more specific time is just something mi am unsure about. When ever mi feel ready to return is probably the answer. While mi am gone, any of our brothers or sisters is free to take my place as the Yazgurtan. Mi will nub contest. Azfrai’Lur had already made a claim for it, so mi guess she am the new Yazgurtan now. Hozh luck. For the new Rex, whoever it will be now: Do nub skah up. It is a lot easier than you’d think. - Kretz'Ox
  17. [!] Kretz'Ox couldn't help but smile as he heard of his brother's return, though unfortunately that smile was short lived. "Bruddah, most of this skah am from 'em nub respecting te Gothz agh teir decison, so mi doubt tei'll lizten in te future either.. But maibi, hopefulli, tei'll listen to thiz, az to wagh againzt our own bruddahz am zomthin nub azh of uz wantz to peep."
  18. [!] The news of Scrap's death eventually reached Kretz'Ox in San'Brîu. Even though the events of her death were lost to Kretz, he could guess at least a bit about them. "She flat in a klomp, like a true uruk.." Too bad that didn't change the fact that she was dead and Kretz had lost yet another friend.
  19. [!] "What te skah do lat mean she iz flat?!" could be heard being yelled from Kretz'Ox's apartment in San'Bríu as the news reached its resident. Seems the news of yet another friend's death were not taken well..
  20. [!] As an Ungri came to his door, bearing the message of this spirit war while also refusing to leave until Kretz'Ox made a comment about it, this was the only thing Kretz could say: "Hozh for latz, mi guess? Never really peeped too much into either of 'em.. zo, am mi free to kontinue mi dai now?"
  21. Gotta love this activity system ;_; Building a new settlement takes a good amount of time. The staff should know this already. It takes time in the creative worlds to redo stuff that was already there but can not be used because "reasons". Time that could be used to roleplay or gasp! even spent doing things IRL. I do have to wonder if exploring the map of Almaris is even worth it, when every little bit not spent in your own tiles is time wasted, according to these activity checks. And that kinda like makes me wonder if spending time on the server is worth it, when you are tied to do just few things. Kinda ironic how these activity checks are supposed to make people more active, but just makes them wonder why be on the server at all.
  22. [!] Kretz'Ox nodded happily as everything was settled with Nor'asath quite fast, having previosly been sad to hear about a possible war with their ker friends. "Mi wonder who all will taik part in council agh how Al will reakt to thiz.."
  23. [!] "Lup'Ublulhar. Tere truli was hope for thiz situation", Kretz'Ox had to nod with a smile once the meeting was over and the annoucement had been released.
  24. [!] "So, it haz been don..", Kretz'Ox muttered as the missive was published. "Mi truli hope that Borok chooses te right path of redemption. Mi would more rather nub peep him suffer.."
  25. I am mostly just very confused by the repeated sentences in this part. Like, just read it. What's going on with it???
