  1. This is pretty based, reminding me alot of Moorish/Amazigh cultures; I might just make a persona for it
  2. Cardinal Pelagius-Albarosa would sit himself amongst the clergymen with a bottle of de Savoie 1657 Wine, seemingly surrounded by a sizable entourage of eye-catching Hyspianas. The Prince-Archbishop silently casts his votes on a piece of parchment, for the question of Beatification, being that of the following; -Vytenis of Luciensport -Andrik 'I' Vydra -Everard II "I find these specific individuals fit for beatification due to them holding a fine signification amongst the common Canonist population, for them to be recognized as of importance would be a great benefit towards the Church."
  3. "This is incredibly.. Based" Cardinal Pelagius-Albarosa would remark, spending almost 4 years of his early Priest ventures within the freezing mountains of Norland, reminiscing on when he spent all that time converting those of the Red Faith to Canonism.

  5. "Based" Said Cardinal Albarosa, peering down at the missive.
  6. The Cardinal would freely play around with a single chess piece as he'd return the comment made by Owyn; "I'd presume so, perhaps I should spend more time around this red city of the Haensers. After all, I do quite miss Kaedrin"
  7. A short & simple remark from the Cardinal, Pelagius Santiago-Albarosa as he reads the text; "May he reign long." The Santegian would state as he signs the Lorriane.
  8. A CALL OF MASS FOR THE HYSPIAN FLOCK 1803 ES A Santegian depiction of Holy Mother Julia Cardinal Pelagius, further the rest of our devout Hyspian Clergymen under the Prince-Archbishopric of Albarosa, & Bishop Francisco Altamirano of Hyspia, summon the holiest flock of Hyspia to mass. The church session will be held in the Karsograd Cathedral, the Sun’s smile, of 1803. The Archbishopric of Albarosa expects a good majority of Hyspians, & any other onlookers who might hold interest in holy ventures to attend. Signed, CARDINAL PELAGIUS SATIAGO-ALBAROSA ((8PM EST, SUNDAY))
  9. You're one of the people who inspired me to join the Canonist community way back in July. It's sad to see you go, but best wishes
  10. "Even if this is true.." Cardinal Pelagius comments as he sets down a glass of Sangria, "His Eminence is quite the legendary Lady's Killer."
  11. THE CALL OF HOLY DIET 1802, 355 ES Cardinalis Pelagius Albarosa-de Santiago, sits himself at his desk, thinking to himself, “With the ascension of the new Pontiff, I might as well hold a holy meeting, hm?”. After the Cardinal’s appointment, a fond addiction of Hyspian Tequila has been ever so more growing, “Converso, dame un vaso de tequila!” like a true Santegian, he calls for one of his wood elf servants to pour a glass of the fine Añejo. Taking a sip he picks up his pen, writing a letter for the newly enthroned Pontiff; Owyn II. To his Holiest, his Eminence, Owyn III. As my first act as Cardinal of Albarosa; I request of you & petition of you to call a Diet amongst our Clergymen, being held by myself, Pelagius Cardinalis Albarosa, preferably during the Grand Harvest of 1802. To all of the Canonist Clergymen of the realm of Almaris, I request of you to attend this Diet. What is to be discussed in this holy meeting will be our strategy to maintain neutrality, how we can increase our cultural relevance & political involvement in local governments. As per the First Golden Bull of Albarosa, I petition the Pontifex Maximus to sanction the convention of this Diet of Bishops. All Priests, Bishops, & Cardinals are invited. THE GRAND HARVEST OF 1802 ((SATURDAY, 5PM EST))
  12. The enthroned Albarosan Cardinal, Pelagius, sits on a decorated wooden chair in a balcony within the Cathedral of Providence, swirling around a quaint glass of half empty Tequila as he looks beyond the city skyrise. A newly converted wood elf, known as a "Converso" in Hyspian, stops by & pours a bit more Tequila into the Cardinal's glass, before he whispers something into Pelagius's ear; "Su Santidad.." "Si?" "El Eminencia, Laurence, has been elected Pontifico." Before long, Pelagius bounces out of the chair, almost dropping his glass of Tequilla. "AYAYAYAYAYAY! The Pruvia did it!!" After a momentary pocket of excitement, the Santegian Cardinal makes his way over to a painting of Julia, bowing down before the Immaculate Mother as he recites a short Santegian prayer. "Agradecemos el don de nuestros hermanos y hermanas Santegianos e Hyspanos. Haz que sigamos siendo un lugar de puertas abiertas, de corazón abierto, con capacidad para todos. Danos corazones generosos para que podamos seguir usando nuestros dones para apoyarnos unos a otros. Amén." Pelagius then makes the Lorriane Cross, standing up from his Prayer as he starts to write a letter of celebration for the newly elected Pontiff.
  13. A Santegian Bishop would sign the Lorriane cross infront of a fine weaven print of Mother Julia within his apartment. "Descansa en paz, the Holiest Pontiffico is in Horen's realm now, Deus bless."
  14. "Nay, the idea of nuns being able to exercise exorcism is unfathomable, that is a practice for the men of Horen." The Santegian Bishop would vote.
  15. THE BISHOPRIC OF HYSPIA Maintained by the Right Reverned, BISHOP PELAGIUS; Obispo Pelagio Juliano de Savin “Dorime una Corazón” INTRODUCTION By the Grace of his Holiest, High Pointiff James II; Established in 1800, the Bishopric of Hyspia is a subordinate diocese to the Prince-Archbishopric of Albarosa, and is currently shepherded by Bishop Pelagius de Savin of Hyspia. This diocese is catered to, populated by & sustained through the Hyspian people: a formerly Sutican minority with a distinct culture, similar to the Santegians of old, developing into a unique identity we now consider ‘Hyspian’. Bishop Pelagius, the de Savin, Of Hyspia Obispo Pelagio, el de Savin, de Hyspia Laurence August Pruvia-Albarosa Cardinal Albarosa Francisco Altamirano Vicar of Hyspia FOUNDING STORY HISTORIA FUNDACIONAL Father Adelric of Reinmar had contacted the Prince-Archbishop in 1798 regarding the Hyspian situation: where a Canonist majority was oppressed by a heretical Baron within the nation of Sutica. He and Cardinal Albarosa assembled a delegation consisting of themselves, Cardinal Ailred Reinmar & Father Pelagius: in hopes to petition the Sutican nation leader on behalf of the Hyspians. From this gesture grew a more intimate bond between Hyspians & the Holy Canonist Church: who seemed to be the only human institution that cared about their fate and progress as a society. When the delegation returned to their respective dioceses, having negotiated successfully with the reasonable Sutican leader: the Prince-Archbishop left behind his most trusted advisor, Father Pelagius, to lay the foundations for a Hyspian diocese. With cooperation from the local clergy and Hyspian leader, Father Pelagius managed to establish a proper congregation that diligently partook in the worship of Canonist. Together with Father Pelagius, Cardinal Ailred Reinmar & Prince Antonio Rivera: the Prince-Archbishop petitioned His Holiness James II to proclaim Hyspia a diocese, and appoint Father Pelagius as its first Bishop. Such happened in 1800, when Bishop Pelagius ascended to shepherd the new Bishopric of Hyspia towards its greatest divine potential. SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH REINMARIAN CLERGY RELACIÓN ESPECIAL CON EL CLERO REINMARIO While culturally and ecclesiastically more aligned with the Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa, both the Hyspian clergy & civilians find themselves particularly fond of the Reinmarian Clergy under the Archdiocese of Jorenus. This intimate relationship transcends their differences in geography, culture & ecclesiastical alignment. Father Adelric of Reinmar is seen as the original messenger that brought GOD’s institution to Hyspia, and his relatives such as Chaplain Alfred or Cardinal Ailred had laid the groundwork for the Albarosan clergy to lobby and then ecclesiastically integrate them. Without them, the Prince-Archbishop would’ve never known about the Hyspian fate, and in turn, neither would His Holiness have known to care. Prince Antonio Rivera granted the entirety of the Reinmarian clergy honorary Hyspian citizenship, and have instructed Bishop Pelagius to enshrine their contribution in the Diocesan seat & history of Hyspia.
  16. Fr. Pelagius, sits himself on a cushioned seat within the Basilica meeting room, offering a nod towards the Pontiff before facing the document with his pointer finger, skimming through it's details in preparation for the holy discussion amongst canonist clergy to commence.
