  1. Ragnvald recollects that this is a sketch that was given to him by a witness of the man, and it is quite frankly the closest that was able to be obtained to a description, despite how useless the information. Regardless, he shrugs and goes to sharpen his blade
  2. WANTED: Attempted Kidnapper Distributed the 5th of The Grand Harvest on the 51st year of the Second Age from the Thanedom of Eiriksgrad TO ALL DENIZENS OF NORTHERN NYRHEIM: It is of the utmost regret that this missive must be penned. Just a Stone Day ago, a man of unknown name, origin, or race attempted to abduct the young daughter of Prince Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric within the Kingdom of Haense. Thanks to the help of local Haeseni, Princess Astrid was retrieved and returned to Norland without major harm done to her person. Even so, this criminal has managed to slip from the grasp of Norlandic and Haeseni authorities, and must be brought to justice as soon as possible. Below is a sketch of the Kidnapper. The reward for the capture of such a man shall be a total of 100 mina. It should also be specified that it is of the utmost importance that the criminal is brought to Varhelm Alive so he may stand trial for his crimes and be punished according to Norlandic law. All-Father bless all who seek to bring this man to justice. Signed, Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric, Prince of Norland, Thane of Eiriksgrad
  3. Give me war rules so I can help Savoy take over the world

  4. When will you play an Areniscan
  5. A Call for Chiefsmoot Issued the 11th of The Amber Cold, Year Fifty of the Second Age A Call to King Vane: Not since before the War of Three Kingdoms has there been a gathering of the chieftains and vassal leaders to discuss and suggest what could be done within our beloved Kingdom of Norland. Stranger enough is it not to see one of these gatherings now during the continuation of the war with the Svarlings. Therefore I, Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric, Thane of Eiriksgrad, wish to call upon King Vane to summon all the Chieftains and Vassal Lords of Norland to discuss the threat that these invaders pose to our Kingdom. I, among many who live in the furthermost lands of Norland, have reason to fear this Svarling threat. They have already annihilated the Skanarri and may soon do the same to Varhelm, Eiriksgrad, and any other residents who call the far north their home. For the lives of those at risk, and the threat the Svarlings pose, I hope that the King's Council may see the necessity that a Chiefsmoot may have in our current times in order to discuss what should be done publicly. Signed, Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric, Thane of Eiriksgrad
  6. "Forever Standing!" roared Henry Bishop from the Seven Skies as he watched his son proudly.
  7. Antonius Barclay sips some tea from his room in Reinmar "Wasn't Keorn the dwed who staged a rebellion in Sutica? huh...it almost seems like warcriminals who aren't put to justice will do radical things once freed."
  8. For years, Oisin had been reflecting upon the relationship with his father. William was never there to raise him as a young boy, but Oisin would be lying if he said he learned nothing from his estranged Father. William taught him how to command, to lead men into battle. For that, Oisin was thankful. Late at night after having recieved the letter, Oisin spoke to himself. "More than a decade its been since you and I split. I must admit, I still think of the day. The day that led to thousands being murdered and our family being torn at the seams. The things I did, who I did them to..." Oisin sighed softly as he looked up at the night sky "You had every right to carry your hatred of me to your grave. Hell, you probably still do, wherever your soul has travelled. Either way, through everything, my largest regret was and is splitting from my family. Nadia, Aldigar, Gwyn...I hurt them all. I suppose the only thing I can do now is honor your wishes. I will not take the Buckfort name again, GOD knows I no longer deserve it, but I will never abandon my kin again." Oisin went to rub his forehead as he became overwhelmed with sadness, the Prince doing his best to hold in his tears. "I am sorry, William. Rest at peace, and know that I will never again stain your bloodline with dishonor." "Goodbye, Father."
  9. The Skanarri remnant preparing to leave Camp Fnod It was years since the Sven's Day Massacre, yet the Skanarri still remained in Camp Fnod where they had retreated to. Now, in the temporary cease-fire between Norland and the Svarlings, the Skanarri saw their chance to escape the fighting completely. The Skanarri had seen and fought the Svarlings, and they were no ordinary Humans. Something about them seemed...off to the Skanarri. Regardless, it mattered little. If the Skanarri were going to flee the fighting, now would be better than later. However, the fear of the Svarlings was not the only reason for the Skanarri's migration from the North-West. Even before the Sven's Day Massacre, the Skanarri had been running low on sources of food. Their farms at Ikarusbrug barely got them by combined with the wild fruits and game collected by the Skanarri hunters and gatherers. It had only gotten worse after that, and at Camp Fnod the Skanarri were critically low on food. Many families went to bed hungry, and seeing a man expire of starvation was no longer an uncommon occurrence. Thus, the Skanarri needed to find a new place to gather more resources. While they did once raid Norland for food, Norland itself did not provide much in the way of farmland to steal from, especially after the departure of Elysium from the Kingdom. That, and the late high chieftain had signed a non-aggression pact with King Vane. The Skanarri were desperate, but they were not completely honorless. They would not steal from their 'allies', even if only a decade ago they had been tearing each other's throats out for dominance in the North-West. Skanarri scouts had already found better land regardless. This land, just near the abandoned Principality of Rubern, put them directly North of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. The Skanarri had been friendly with the Haeseni before in the face of the Svarling threat, but no official peace had been pre-established with Haense, and the Skanarri were desperate. And thus, the Skanarri tore down Camp Fnod and prepared to move. The Skanarri had decided, they would migrate to the North-East in order to seek out better food sources by any and all means necessary. What this would entail would be up to the locals the Skanarri would soon come to border. Would it come to a peaceful resolution where the Skanarri could co-exist with their neighbors, or would it devolve into another violent theater of war in the northern part of Almaris?
  10. Javier de Pelear released a sigh as he picked up the missive and walked to the edge of his estate that was Arenisca. There, he saw the voidal mess that the destruction of Ando Alur had caused, and he knew that should nothing be done, the Hyspian people under his rule would suffer first. "Mierda...we must act now, and we must act reasonably. If this is not dealt with, Hyspians will again go without a home to call their own." With that, the aging Baron summoned his new council, and began to draft up plans for how best to combat this voidal horror.
  11. Apply for CT for a lovely staff experience! I am saying this of my own free will, I promise!

  12. Henry Bishop finally rests in peace in his grave. The war he had never seen come to an end finally reached its conclusion, and the old spirit could finally rest easy knowing Haense had her justice.
  13. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric could be seen brawling on the field with one of the Miners in retaliation for his comrade's broken toes!
  14. Firme en Armas Issued by decree of His Lordship On the 5th of Malin's Welcome of the 49th year of the Second Age UNA CARTA ABIERTA To all Hyspians across the realm of Almaris, I issue this decree to you. For too many years, the people of Hyspia have not had a proper land to call their own. Not since before the destructive Hyspian Schism did our people live in peace and harmony with one another. I, Javier de Pelear, seek to change this. As many of you may or may not know, I have issued a Declaracion de Formacion for my own estate known as the Barony of Arenisca. However, up until recently, the construction for this estate had not yet been completed. Now, with the final stones of the keep being placed, I come to you again with another declaration. I hereby declare once more that the Barony of Arenisca shall take in any and all Hyspians who seek to reunite with their countrymen. Whether they be former Red Hyspians or faithful Canonists matters little. With the help of DIOS and the combined effort of all Hyspians, our people may be reunited once more under a single banner. I urge all Hyspians to make their way to Arenisca as soon as time allows, and to enter the open arms of Arenisca and the de Pelear Family. Signed, Javier de Pelear, Baron of Arenisca
  15. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric could be seen jogging throughout Varhelm square in preparation for the next match. Rumor has it he was heard chanting as he ran. "Berserkers ballin'...Berserkers ballin'..."
  16. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric cheers rather loudly as the Berserkers win their first game! "Hah, there'll be more where that came from!"
  17. Where is the Hyspian/Arenisca team?!?! @CharmingCavalier

  18. "Oh damn...this is going to be interesting." said Prince Ragnvald Ruric as he read the missive from his home of Eiriksgrad. Antonius Barclay spat out his beer as he read the missive from Reinmar, a frown forming on his face. "Sheisse, mayhaps they also intend to raid Haense!" Javier de Pelear, Baron of Arenisca and a vassal of Urguan, began to quietly panic to himself. "Mierda, Mierda, Mierda! ¡Ni siquiera me di cuenta de que tal situación estaba a la mano!"
  19. Rolf the Peasant, a Myrine Serf, doesn't know how to read the missive! Regardless, he's proud to be serving under his lord Cyrus Mareno!
  20. If you're gonna make a warclaim fort, at least make it look good and like a proper fort rather than a literal lunchbox
  21. The Barony of Arenisca "Firme en Armas" Declaración de formación: On this day, the 5th of the Sun's Smile, 47 SA, the de Pelear family does hereby decree the formation of the Barony of Arenisca under the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Brought to life by Hyspians who formerly remained scattered across the realm of Almaris, Arenisca is a hub of Hyspian culture and history. Led by Javier de Pelear, the Areniscan Hyspians do declare that their Barony shall remain an open and free land for all Hyspians who seek to have a sense of belonging among their kin once more. Thanks to the Grand King of Urguan, the Areniscans have been able to settle on their lands bordering the old Vasiyevi state. As is expected of any Urguani vassal, Arenisca shall also answer the calls of Urguan should a time come when it is necessary. El noble gobierno: The Barony of Arenisca is firstly and most importantly governed by the Baron, who rules as an absolute monarch of the state. Beneath him, there are four key positions which have been established by the Baron to act as his representatives in each department, and who oversee a certain element in the Government. Hand of the Baron The Hand of the Baron acts as the Baron’s second in command and is his most trusted advisor. This position, modeled off the Hyspian Kingdom’s former position of Hand of the Crown, is often given to a person of extreme intellect, or to the Baron’s heir in order to prepare him for administrative duties. Head Medic of Arenisca A self-explanatory position. This position is designed to oversee all of Arenisca’s medical proceedings, and is given to those who possess key knowledge in medical aspects. The Head Medic also oversees the Baronial Clinic, which serves as Arenisca’s all-purpose hospital. Capitán de la Guardia Traditionally, the armed forces of the Kingdom of Hyspia’s estates were managed by the Monarch themselves, or the Hand of the Crown. However, Arenisca finds it necessary to create the position of Capitán. The position shall oversee all military aspects of Arenisca with Baronial oversight, and is second only to the Hand of the Baron in the chain of command. Supervisor de Moneda Yet another self-explanatory role. The Supervisor is in charge of the Barony’s treasury, and is expected to report the Barony’s financial status to the Baron himself. This was a duty previously held by the Head Steward of Hyspia, which is a role that was not carried over to the Areniscan state. Castillo Arenisca: The castle of Arenisca itself is a moderately-sized keep built primarily of sandstone brought from the lands of the south. Having employed skilled builders, Arenisca has built itself a cozy little enclave for any who wish to come and reside within its walls. Plans have also been made to possibly expand the keep, should overpopulation burden the Barony. [!] A few displays of the castle are shown below! Signed, Javier de Pelear, Baron of Arenisca
  22. "Hmph, it is a trick. The Svarlings wish to see how desperate we are for peace, then take advantage to throw themselves at us. It is a tactic the Skanarri used when I was a child, and no doubt the Svarlings are not above such tactics either. There can be no peace with the Svarlings, so long as any Norlander is left standing." Ragnvald released a hefty sigh after his brief monologue, and began his journey to the Hearth Temple so he could find some peace in this time of great strife.
