  2. "May he serve well." Therese simply said as she tossed the paper onto the piles forming on her desk.
  3. A set of crimson eyes look over the document. A brow lofts as they got further and further down. "Oh, these silly valah always seem to disappoint." Ventys said, looking over to her wife. "I thought the Church was all about 'love thy neighbour' and shit like that."
  4. Regina, the lady of Bingleburg rejoiced
  5. Annette patiently waited for a few days, but was ready to wait for years, decades. She paced back and forth, trying to find some way to pass the time. And finally, he was there. Before her stood the man she loved more than anyone in the entire world. “Karl!” She called, going to hug him tightly. “Oh, how Ich missed du. And now, du vill never leave mein side.” She released him from her tight grasp, her hand going to intertwine with his. “Ich have so many people for du to meet. Und Papa ist first on zhat list.” Thérèse stood at the gates of Vissingren, seeing a horse come to the gates. "An abandoned horse. . .?" She questioned, going outside to retrieve it. She then noticed the letters stuffed within. As she pulled them out, the quickly recognised the handwriting to be her grandfathers. Her face almost went pale. "No." She uttered, in complete disbelief. "Opa. . .I suppose would never go on without Oma. It was coming one way or another." She said before distributing the letters to everyone addressed.
  6. "Good on Aimo. He was always the better out of all of us." Thérèse stated as she reclined in her office chair and threw the missive onto the building pile of others.
  7. "Ich vill see zhem vhen Karl gets here. Ich vill vait however long ich need to." Annette responded with a slight smile towards her brother. "Du must understand, brudder."
  8. Monika von Augusten frowns as this reminded her of something from her early life. . .
  9. Annette had seen things she never wished to see, things that haunted her soul for years to come. Her first love abandoned her, ending their engagement through a letter. She had witnessed her sister kill her father, the smell of alcohol potent in her breath. She remembered her screams and begs as she held onto her father, him whispering his last words before his body became limp and his life slipped away. The heartbreak she bore was so profound, it shackled her to be trapped in her mind with the grief. Her first husband hurt her in ways she could never imagine. Her heart ached and ached, but through it all she still smiled. Her exterior remained unbroken, guarding the secrets of her fractured past. This changed when she met Karl von Theonus. Her brother had introduced them, ever hopeful for the two to be a good match. His actions always spoke louder than words ever could, and she loved that. He did not need to speak for his eyes told her everything she needed to know. They reminded her of honey, sweet and loving. The way that he looked at her set her heart aflame. He completely changed her life and forged her into an entirely new person with his bare hands. She shared her darkest secrets, and overcame her fears with his guidance. She knew that hardships would come, but he was by her side. Nothing else mattered. Arguments came and went. Oh how she regretted her words as they slipped from her lips. His ambitions caused her to pack up her things and leave, cradling her twins in her arms as the couple made their way across Almaris, settling in the new place he called home. She looked back at Haense, saddened as she was forced to abandon her Alderwoman position and her friends. But, she never complained, for she had no room to. He had given her the world. He had promised her titles, jobs, opportunities and they were hers. What more could she ask for? As the woman aged, she witnessed the continent end, her children get married and have children of her own. She watched her youngest daughter become a Countess and her son a Margrave. Her children were making their own legacies, and she knew she wasn’t needed anymore. She was happy with her life, though. As she reflected, all she could do was smile at how far she and her husband had come. And now, as an elderly woman, she found herself weeping more and more. Letters came, announcing the deaths of her friends, her children, allies, and acquaintances. Her soft heart ached as it did in the past, but she had Karl by her side. That was all she ever needed. Her walls came tumbling down now, not needing to hold any appearances for anyone. And one day, it finally came. "I am ready to go." She whispered before her eyes fluttered shut, and her body became lifeless. 1857-1961 Letters: Annette dump
  10. Syllana Brylynn had sat waiting in the skies for her any of her family to come along. She knew none of the Vuln'miruels. . .or Vulnrith now would join her, but she knew at least her children would. She spent her time watching her family from the skies until finally she heard the laugh of her dearest son Cypress. "Child, you have so much to tell me." She said as she welcomed him into her arms.
  11. Aemma steals the treasury money and makes a run for it!
  12. Monika von Augusten marched to Stassion, a tiny portrait of her dear Alessandro in her hand. She used the image to get her though all the battles, all the tough days. Now, the squire stood in her own lands Petra, preparing for yet another battle. Orders were barked and the woman scurried about the wooden keep, finally making her way to a cannon with two Theonus. Then it became repetiton. Fire. . . Reload. . . Fire. . . "CHARGE!" Monika almost froze at the order, but knew her duty. Charge she did. Her sword quickly became stained in crimson along with her armour, but it did not matter to her. The Stassionites must die, she told herself. And die they did.
  13. "Richard. . ." Therese, the Petran Chancellor then shook her head. "You did good by allowing the body of my cousin to come home, but that was all. You say you want to make peace with the Theonus, yet let your men pretend to be us and torture poor innocents." She let a scoff escape her as she looked over towards Stassion from the walls of Vissingren. "This is our peace now. Justice will be served."
  14. “GOD, I love Petra.” Thérèse, the Chancellor states.
  15. ✠ Issued by the ELECTORATE OF EINMONT On this day 13th of SUN’S SMILE, 1955 Following the untimely and tragic death of His Highness, Heinrich von Alstreim, Seventh Lord Vandalore, it now seems appropriate, after an extended period of mourning, that the Waldenic Diet should reconvene to decide upon the president of this next, eighth, diet. With all due respect given to the late Prince of Merryweather, may GOTT rest his soul, without a Lord Vandalore it is our whole people the Waldenians that are without a leader. As stated by THE SACRED LAW OF WALDENIA; On The Waldenic Diet, xxii. “The Waldenic Diet shall be dissolved upon the death or abdication of the Lord Vandalore, and reconvene for a new election following the mourning period.” And stated by THE WALTER AMENDMENT; On The Waldenic Diet, xxvii. “The Waldenic Diet shall be dissolved upon the conclusion of the Vandalore’s tenure through death, abdication, or forfeiture, and reconvene for a new election following the mourning period should one be necessary.” The amendment decidedly implemented into The Sacred Law, during the Third Session of the Seventh Waldenic Diet, 12 of Tobias’ Bounty, 1948. As such, with Heinrich von Alstreim relieved of the duty of Lord Vandalore and the period of mourning passed, it is with this notice that we ask the electors, recognised families and all Waldenians to attend the first session of the eighth Waldenic Diet. With this, the Electorate of Einmont requests that the Diet convenes within the halls of Marignan and perform their obligation to elect their next Lord Vandalore.
