  1. Just make the atro player sign an item to represent their core.. If an atronach is defeated and some1 takes their core its an equivalent of someone defeating a simple descendant and taking their hand, for instance. Make an item, and make a player sign it. Thats it. St signatures will just bring more hassle and we both know that apart from u and some others it will be taking 5 years to get someone to sign it

    The Hunt

THE HUNT [!] Identical missives had been scribbled by someone and sent aloft; the winds blew them off to numerous cities. For millenia the powerful sorcerers meddled with the prowess beyond the grasp of many, soaring to great heights, or slumping into stygian and imminent abyss, whereupon they perished or worse. Many grew envious toward the astonishing magi, many refused to give up the toll that the bestowed power seized, and so those tried to take the magic without a cost. For free.. A once extraordinary and marvelous art warped and corrupted anew, fashioning into what's now known as housemagery. The heinous, selfish bastards annexed that depraved magic for themselves, which naught but escalated the already subsisting, aberrant demeanor. Thus those envious and cruel men ventured further in the darkness, and such mustn't prevail. Thus I call upon the fellow wizards. The paladins and knights, the warlocks of the dark and beast that dwell 'neath the shade, and the beings of arcane; all we must unite and mingle our strength. The true, blasphemous fiend will quiver and fall ere us in fear! Flourish the ranks of witchhunters, and lend a sharp blade or cunning mind or razing claws to the great cause - to douse those who went astray with bliss; to gift them their demise - the end of their infernal suffering!
  3. ATTACK OF THE WOLFMAN Issued at Year 111 of the Second Age Long The Centurions have slumbered, alas the fiends have not. Time to arouse has come, for the peril is enclosing. With the recent assault upon the citizenry of The Most Serene State midst daylight by a hairy humanoid beast of immense size, it is apparent that too long have the folk dawdled. Too long have we been turning a blind eye to the danger that steadily drew into our lands that we thought was below us. The nefarious beasts emerged within our home - heinous wolfmen came attacking, and then fled into their lairs after being met with our citizenry. Heed, for the time has come - The Centurions are recruiting. The aspiring candidates for recruitment are either to reach out to the Silver Lubba, or The Captain of Centurions, or one amongst the officers. Alternatively, the candidates can send letters to the HQ, stating their name and the reason why they wish to enlist. Those letters will be reviewed by the Centurions' captain himself, and the reply will be sent back shortly. The time to defend our home has arrived. signed, The Silver Lubba John, Captain of The Silver Centurions

  6. Transfiguration Amendment - Transmutation - Alter Color At T3 a Transfigurationist in question may learn as complex abilities as enchanting, fussion, fission, and... Altering color. Simply as. Doesn't make much sense to keep that ability at T3. Instead, it should be moved to T2.

  9. 1 emote lesser enchantment is a good addition, and can provide easier flavour roleplay, which would be great. The rest of the additions though, not only would weaken the voidal enchantments as a whole, but also don't quite make sense lore-wise. I presumd that the addition of emotes to enchantments is a toll for the users that don't have as developed mana pool as the mages themselves. However, it doesn't really matter since the voidal enchantments are based on the creation of an artificial mana pool, which doesn't entail the necessity of it being constantly recharged by someone else's mana. That is why sometimes enchantments were used as traps (or so i was told), obelisks don't require a group of mages to constantly refuel it, and so forth. Not only that, but the general amount of emotes required for enchantments is already bigger than that of a voidal mage due to the need of activating them every time, which means you cannot teleport every emote or so, constantly shoot spikes, etc. Not to say that enchantments can't be used in a destructive fashion, but to be fair, everything can be utilized that way, and you just need a bit of brain power to come up with those things. I scrolled through the comments, and it seems that some people think voidal magic is bad right now, which is not true. The lore it already has right now is quite good, and the usage just depends on how far you can extend your imagination and creativity while abiding the redlines. Also, wanted to mention that illusion enchantments are actually weaker than the magic due to them generally being more prone to flickering, usable only once 24 hours, and being less diverse than the magic itself.
  10. "Oi, oi!" The elf exclaimed, one of his crooky fingers, embraced in a white glove, pointed at the notice that just fell into his sight "Kiraso, wanna call some randoms from other there and **** with Haelun'or?" The elf chimmed in an inquiry, albeit his voice was rather teasing @PinkPyro
  11. [!] A poster hung places The Malgranda Foundry A city stood amidst a plateau. Wind blew through its wheat fields. The plants rustled against one another. The dawning sun blossomed in a gorgeous splotch of light with its rays beaming outwards, and adorning the looming sky with orange and pink hues. The sea endlessly threw tides at the shore, gradually eroding rocks and alike. Amidst the calm city, a cozy building stood. With an intricate smithy within, a group of descendants dwelled about. Each wielding a set of remarkable skills, and offering their vast services to the public. +=+ Voidal Enchantments Numerous Voidal Magics lie in the capabilities of the sorcerers. The enchantments usually require a one on one conversation, where one of the mages discusses the details of the work, as well as the payment with the customer. Potion Brewery Includes brewing numerous potions, applying them to equipment, and so forth. In order to get a potion, one must have a meeting with one of the alchemists where they will discuss what one desires to acquire, for what price, etcetera. Limb Craft Creation of artificial limbs, for instance, for the sake of replacing lost ones. This service strictly requires a meeting with the one who wishes to restore the appendage, and the sorcerer. Tools’ Craft Refinement of some rare materials, as well as the process of forging them into a vast variety of tools. Those can range from simple ones such as shovels, hoes, hatchets and alike, to more deadly ones, or equipment: swords, shields, armor and so forth Magical Advice / Service If a customer who sought assistance didn’t find what he desires among the aforementioned services, whether that is participation in some ritual, solving arcane issues in some area, acquiring certain knowledge and so forth, more intricate services may be requested from one of the members of the Malgranda Foundry. +=+ The payment is usually paid off by minas, however, upon the vendor’s decision, the price can be something different; a favor, an item, some kind of service, etcetera. The Foundation is in the Northest side of the city, just behind a statue:

  14. I don't really want to argue whether Twi's ban is deserved or not since the Administration still failed to provide proper evidence, replying only with some slogans. Either way, what truly pains me is the fact that a grand amount of people view all those conflicts as purely OOC based whilst they're not. If we look back at Haelun'orian conflict we can split Twi’s side into several groups: Mr Monkee provided Twi with some great help, and some think that it is because at that time a lot of Ferrymen were there, and just wanted to help Twi oocly. While I guess it is partly true, you cannot say that there were no IRP motives. Haelun'or looked down upon Mali'Fenn for centuries, calling them traitors of the path of purity, brainless worms etc. The fact that the fennic settlement was willing to help someone fight against Haelun'or seems more than natural. Kiwi and the group that first took over Haelun'or through diplomatic means aka were voted by citizens did a lot of rp. It wasn't just "Hey, I came and want my ruling position!"; They went through a very big job, and in many cases they were very unhappy by the need of staying within Haelun'or. At the time of that conflict I mainly stood out of all the OOC bullshit that LOTC has to offer, and instead learnt most of the things irp. A good lot of people were supporting Twi while moving up in Haelun'orian ranks, and all of that didn't come from purely OOC intentions. If one were to RP with Twi's char, she could actually give a decent list of things that she wanted to change, and by that time needed to be changed. The fact that a lot of High Elves agreed to that also seems quite natural and worked through the IRP means. I am unable to say anything for Kiwi's character itself as I wasn't that close icly with her, but I can claim for sure that other people viewed current Haelun'or as something that had to be changed. Twi and her friends that weren't included in Kiwi's plan; Somehow, a lot of people make it sound that they are just some strangers that came from outside with their vile intentions of destroying some community "simply because they can". That is not true either. Twi's character has a very long relationship with Haelun'or, and throughout years after she left the city, she came across many people- they were either exiled or simply left Haelun’or, while some were only potential candidates that had irp reasons to dislike their culture of treating other races as lessers- and invited them to help with the cause IRP. Ivarielle had a solid picture of the new Haelun'or, and she explained it to quite some people icly. Mainly those changes were what at that time Haelun'or truly needed. Yes, that could alter its culture, yet wouldn't destroy it like everyone say. To be fair, the culture of Haelun'or, just like any other culture, always wavers and gets altered throughout the years. After Twi was forced to leave Haelun'or, they themselves aligned with orcs. Orcs! That is the race that they viewed as one of the stupidest, ugliest, etc ones. I remember one time when I let a single orc-trader pass through the gates, one of the old players IRPLY screeched at how bad the city had become.. And then they plead to orcs to help them. It is fair to mention that such alliances weren't a one time thing. In past years Haelun'or sometimes contradicted their culture and bowed before other races. At some point they became vassals of Savoy, protected by Oren, orcs, etc. Twi wouldn't erase the culture. Maybe alter it, maybe make it more suitable nowadays, but not completely erase it. Lastly, I wanted to say something about OOC intentions in general. When you play LOTC, wherever you go, you see people. Dwarves, elves, humans, halflings, it doesn't matter. The fact is that behind every figure of a player sits an actual human. Very few people on the server have their characters completely split from their own view of the world, and instead those personas are affected by it. They are not purely themselves as I hope that people that view murders as something OK in character don't do that OOCly (we hope), but the way that their character's opinion builds is most likely altered by the OOC opinions. Thus, it is quite stupid imho to say that some conflict are linked with OOC hatred.

  16. "NOOO!!!" Orinmon screamed out with sudden rush of anger resonating in his voice "Motherfucker!" His gaze furiously flickered around, barely lingering on anything "My fuckin minas!!" He let out now lowering his voice and shutting his eyes closed. His head tilted back, and the elf wailed in a sorrowful manner, now with some dignity.
