  2. crumena you are the one you take the blue pill, the story ends. you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. you take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes now bend the spoon but remember there is no spoon
  3. Ah, forgive me, I used the wrong word choice, I meant to say "attack", and was referring to this, " Now, should the elemental begin to exude its light and make physical contact with taint/darkness/undeath/etc it will sear the victim, similar to the pain that one gets for touching a hot stove. This pain will continue while the elemental and the taint are touching and, like any fresh burn, continue to cause them pain for numerous moments afterwards "
  4. So you want to make a mobile ward, which also is capable of shooting and healing people, when we already have plenty of problems with stagnate wards that don't even do half that. Additionally we've had a lot of trouble with holy constructs in the past, example being itharel, from stuff being RP'd wrongly or that it was PG'd. I'm rather curious to see what you plan on doing to prevent that from happening again. I didn't read the entire article, if I'm honest with you, but that's my two cents regarding what I did read. At some later point I might make a followup with more detail, but at this current time I'll leave it at this.
  5. Honestly I don't see too much an issue with this, and in all truth you could simply buy an FT cart to go between two separate area's and it would act pretty much just like this, infact, that's what I did to RP a portal system in the days of old. At least this has some form of lore backing, and it really wouldn't make a difference when the alternative is what I said above. Hell, you could even get paid for it instead with the new FT system, but that's beside the point. If I gave enough shits I could make my own "portal" system with the method above instead of booking times with LM's, MAT's and GM's like I'm attending some board meeting and then chasing after a teleporting book, sounds kinda silly when you put it that way huh? Also makes the alternative much more convenient offer with the minus being set back a few mina. These people have lives, neither they nor I have time for that. I think this just makes things more simple. I decided to leave some actual feedback since half the comments are about you either previously holding the book or calling you a whiner.

Nah, everyone to the rescue. Let's not repeat the horrendous mistake that was Oren.

Yeah cause it's ALWAYS been awful, hasn't it? That's why you were around our cities all the time.

Wtf? I never was around your cities all the time. I was in the orcish desert building and plotting. Anytime I was roleplaying in JB or Felsen was because I had very little choice. Most of the time I was with other people in different places.

  8. I'm not sure what you refer to with "dark magic", but if its necromancy that's just pure lore-breaking, since we're inherently "unsenseable" because our magic is what is tainted, not the actual person using the magic. Therefore their is no way anything could sense the person to be different from a completely normal person, since that'd literally be what anybody would sense, let alone a ******* circle of shrooms. Which is another reason why the common holy fire tests don't work for us. I don't support this if this is going to tear up that fact, and I personally will not be acknowledging it if someone dumps me in the middle of a circle of shrooms.
  9. im waiting for another exodus

  11. whatever happened to those fabled activity checks that compromised a good portion of the axios introduction post so many months ago?

  12. I wrote this as my LT trial piece, but I also wanted it submitted as lore itself. Draconic Worm Habitat: Special; Refer to spoiler. Description: Author: Abyssus LM Approval Required: Yes
  13. As I told you on skype, abjurations are simply wards in bolt form, and weaker. There's no need to complicate it further then that, and it makes perfect sense for a transfigurationist to make things like that since they deal with bare mana. I don't support outright removing a transfigurationist ability to do this after it's been in place for actual years, and it wouldn't make any sense for this ability to be removed, since a abjuration is simply a more simple ward, and as you've said, we can still do wards. That doesn't make sense, if you remove abjuration you remove wards too, since you destroy the part that allows us to do so, control over bare mana. Overall, I say if it must be accepted, let transfigurationist keep abjuration bolts, and have this be a standalone magic.
  14. I agree with everything except the mood stuff. Aura aren't mood rings you buy in a novelty store, they are simply burned off mana. Nothing more, nothing less, if you give a mood card to aura's then this would change a shitload of other lore where aura is involved, and thus I feel if you want to apply that change you should discuss with them.
  15. I don't typically make arguments about this sort of stuff, but wasn't there a rule that you couldn't acknowledge monks? In which case I have to question, how in the hell is a sane person supposed to not acknowledge the monks when high profile people are killed and re-appear the next day? Now let make it clear I'm not pointing fingers for people not PKing. I'm asking how normal people are supposed to feign ignorance with something like that.

People know the monks exist and stuff. It's more of a.. "the monks don't save everyone so you can't just assume the monks will save you" to stop people approaching death without any fear.

    3. Mr. Etan

      Mr. Etan

It's more of a, everyone knows the monks can save you, but everyone also knows people have died for their first time and never came back. It's more of a "RP fear of dying because you never know when your time is dumb dumb"

    4. Medvekoma

      Medvekoma

Roleplay it so that your character underestimates the power of the monks and assumes it's a rare success every time someone re-appears, or the direct intervention of their deity to power up their useless mending magic.

  16. Thanhic Slug Habitat: Ocean floors, sea caves, cold mountains, area's with thanhium Description: Slug background lore: The creation of the Thanhic Slug is a long one that traces back many years of sea slugs living along the Harian coastline, following the experiments with thanhium and other magical elements in the city and nearby labs, the dumping of the byproducts of both thanhium and other magical products into the ocean slowly resulted in a transformation of the sea slug, the slug slowly turned a bluish color, much akin to its namesake, thanhic, and began to produce a slimy substance that resembled the effects of typical thanhium poisoning, a good many remained in their environment of Haria, but a few moved along, seeking colder waters away from the warm Harian coast. The crowning of a slug queen: The creation of an actual slug queen is an interesting prospect, it seems to only occur when a slug eats solid matter while no other queen exists in the area, the massive swelling that would typically kill the slug in turn results in the fattening of the slug and its ability to produce offspring. Queen Slug: The queen slug herself is a rather reclusive creature, opting to lay within the cold depths of a cave creating her young, she produces a much greater amount of venom then her offspring, lining the walls with the liquid as to prevent herself from becoming overheated. The Slugs: The slugs themselves are rather interesting vermin, they carry a distinct blue color, they're actual mouth's resembling a circle of sharp teeth, they are hermaphrodite but will not produce offspring unless they become a queen. They seem to have a akin hatred for heat, though they're able to survive in the most harsh of temperatures due to their cold tinged thanhic venom that soaks their bodies, because of this particular lovingness for the cold these slugs have a fondness for seeping into thanhium and other cold elements, opting to be in the mountains near the coast, though sometimes being seen on particular deep ocean floors. They are more particular towards munching on vegetation, however should they be given the chance they will also devour flesh, injecting their venom into their victim which in turn acts akin to thanhic dust poisoning, messing with their opponents ability to cast magic correctly. Should the slugs diet become too far thinned and starvation begins to occur the slugs will begin to opt for cannibalization, eating their own kind to sate their hunger, and if this is hunger is left unchecked the slugs will begin to devour solid matter, such as stone, dirt, wood, etc, however this acts as a double edged blade, as they sate their hunger their bodies swell to enormous masses, unable to process the material their eating, they're bodies rip open and they shortly die. They're constant need to feed produces a good amount of byproduct, the venom mixing with their digestion causing their byproduct to attain a formation akin to thanhium, almost nearly mimicking thanhium itself in color and brittleness, because of this it is not surprising to see clumps of the blue ore in odd formations about a slug den.
