    Gone through every single Fire Magic Teacher. Don't know what to do with my character, because he wouldn't just stop trying to learn. Any advice?

      What I know is that no magic teacher ever will give out anything to a stranger....

    Has it ever occurred to anyone the silliness behind MAs and VAs? Unless the 'Creator' is somehow apart of it, it seems that some 'magical' force is preventing characters from performing villainous and magical activities unless their personal 'god' (Player) applies for the ability to perform such acts. And if the character doesn't have these perks, and they perform acts anyways, the Creator or some Anguel/Daemon sucks them out of existence (BR)... weird.

      I know! I find it interesting... someone should make a character that studies the mentality of people, like they go around watching players develop and snap (Turn into psychos upon VA acception), then write books on it or something. That be interesting

    Honest Question: Is this server worth getting back into. I've played on an off for years now. But ever since the Exodus, the server hit a huge downward spiral for me. Is it on the climb back up? Is there any Serious RP left?

      Obsidian is a hard element not like the real world. This is LOTC with different things then the real world

      Yea, so the LOTC Obsidian would make the blade indestructible and all you'd ever have to do is resharpen the diamond edges every once in a while... Too bad we can't create a Mix. Best of both worlds anyone? Dia-sidian Armor and Swords :P

      Play as the race you wanted for now and submit a /modreq. Type /modreq [put your reason here] into the talk console and hit enter. Should be no problem fixing this.

      No one needs magic, many /want/ magic as an extra thing for their character, which is not the point of magic really...

      You only NEED magic, when it makes RP sense for your character to walk from Kingdom to Kingdom, in search of some kind of tome or teacher... and after like 8 years he can't find anything or anyone...

    I donated to get the special perks.. Where is half the things? I only have 1 SS. Never got an item pack. Never got 500 minas. I donated to keep the server goin, but it'd be nice to get what was promised.

    I fear for the Role-Play aspect of LotC. With PvP default our beloved Combat RP lasts only a few seconds, now our magic system is being IMO, destroyed? What is next???

    I find it funny that just a few days ago I was told that giving DKs enchanted armor was too OP... now everyone have the ability to enchant :D now I can get it legitly.

      Give them a goal. If/when they achieve, give them more goals.

      Easy. Give them a goal that would be very difficult to achieve. Once you've done that, work towards it. I garuntee you; once you start actually getting **** done, your character will get even more important to you as you now have something to reach for.

    I hate the saying: It's just pixels. No, its actually pixels that one has invested a large amount of IRL time and effort. That's like you spending a week building this car from free scrap (IDK how you did it...) and it turns out to be this amazing car then I go and crash it the first chance I get! All the time and effort is wasted! "It was just scrap metal."

      I just don't find it healthy to grow so attached to, what is literally, pixels on a screen that can be lost at any moment. Yes, a lot of time has been invested into it but you aren't gaining anything from it in the long term.
