  1. "It was only but a few of my kin who joined the uruk in their deserts and their faith, and those that did are no longer with us. We true mali'ker have only left our cousins when large inconvenience had befallen us in Malin's forest, and such was the origins of Dark haven and dark haven alone. We stand by the elves, yet have refused to spill elven blood, such as the blood spilt by the wood elves and high elves." "The laurir'ker were but a crazed cult who warped the veneration of our ancestor's into a replicate of uruk spiritualism., and their actions should not reflect onto us all.
  2. Mizziyrn glares at the mali'ker and his speech. With every passing word the armored mali'ker, adorned in the golden armor of an Archon, warps into a more anger. "A traitor to our people, a heathenish rodent! You shame the ancestors, not by choosing a side between faerie and bug biter. . .but for willingly choosing to be a slave and servant. Our knees are only bent by our own, and you've committed the most grave of sins. It is when we struggle to battle the twilight that will end our culture, you choose to become a slave to faeries. You're a traitor to your people and your words will never hold any value to me, or any of the honorable" Mizziyrn would shout in the middle of his speach. He'd leave before even hearing the end of it, not even hearing the wants and demands.
  3. Mizziyrn walks about the city of leyulin, searching for any heathenish Mori'quessir who may of choosen to slip into the nighttime city to feast on wood elven babes. In his hunt, as needless as it is, his gaze instead floats upwards towards another child of malin with equal thirst for blood equal to that of Mori he hunts. "Honorless savage" He'd state as he sees a lone schemer looking down onto the wood elven city
  4. "I believe there is a river that spills into the ocean. Such a thing should be utilized for trade"
  5. Day by day the memories of the mortal realm slip out of my fingers. The faces of my children and friends are all but lost to me where I now reside, yet what I do remember is my vanity and the fruit my vanity had produced. Through my vanity, ambition, and desire for glory and fame I found I help set the foundations for mali’ker to find their identity. I was an elven prince with an ambition to rise to the position of high prince and render my will on all beings that would dare enter my forest. I found my fellow pale-skined mali princes and citizen’s weak willed and easily molded, I easily thrived among them like a tree among flowers. It was a high prince by the name of Koylat, a defector of the state of haelun’or who took notice of my ambitions. He had made efforts to remove all mali’ker from malinor, in fear of myself and much stronger kin. A political game I played, I left the high council and founded a small hamlet that never saw much activity. With my departure, the high prince fled the continent, as I had predicted. This hamlet was abandoned and pushed from my mind as I returned to malinor. I found the title of prince, easily, once again. For years I served all mali of malinor, under the high princess Titania. Through many decades filled with wars, silent streets and alleys, to the most active of forests I waited for my time to be bestowed the title of High Prince. That time did come It was a new prince who took what was mine by right. I left the nation of malinor and returned to that hamlet. The nation of malinor completely fell within two years of my departure. In my absence the hamlet had taken on the name of DarkHaven. I never liked the name, thought it was more deserving of an elven name. Yet, regardless, the city grew, quite large. My memories of the place are few, and still some of the last images of my mortal life I’ve remaining. I remember the packed streets, overgrown with life from the nearby forests. The rains, they frequently visited us in our forest home. The people as well. Many mali’ker began to travel to our forest and settle among us. Kind hearted mali’ker who lacked the vainity and ambition that I did. Here I found the error’s of my life Unfortunately I, Khel Oussana, fell in battle but a few years after I gathered these mali’ker together. I recieve prayers now, voices that I cannot call back to in response. If there is one thing I hope I left the mali’ker before I died is that we do not need the wood elves or high elves. We do not need gods or a kings. For one who is not a mali’ker can never hope to truly hold reins on the passion and will of my people, our knees are only bent by our own. ((Could an FM remove posts that aren't in the spirit of the post))

  10. *A letter is sent to Artimec* "It has come to my attention that I am nominated to lead an entire nation. I've no desire for this, do remove me from your election -Mizziyrn Zanexes"
  11. "A vote for Mizziyrn, is a vote for the children" "A vote for Mizziyrn, is a vote for traditional family values" "A vote for Mizziyrn, is a vote for the ancestors" "Artimec supports amnesty for Mori'quessir, do you want a man like that as chancellor? Mizziyrn doesn't. A vote for Mizziyrn is a vote against Mori amnesty" ((I have no desire to lead(I had my full share of that), lets just put that on the record))
  12. No mali'ker? Then I will not vote, only mali'ker may lead me. [ ] Artimec Camoryn [ ] Dwyn Tinuvial [X] A Mali'ker, for history has proven faeries and bug-bitters inefficiency to lead Malin's nation. Of the three dark elven leaders: Ashur, Sythra, and Khel Oussana, all have proven more efficient and effective than their pale-skinned counterparts during their reigns.
  13. A letter is written to the Chancellors of Leyu'lin, those elected officials who represent the views of the mali constituency. It would be found on their desks. There is a threat that threatens the health of our city. It's not found in the nearby marsh or in the forests of Fiandria, but within the city itself. There is the sell and exchange of a good, of easterner origins, that poses to make each and every one of us vessels for swarms of parasites. The sale of raw fish for consumption, also known as 'sushi' as barbarians name it, without cooking is going on within our city. This is no doubt a deliberate attempt by the Adherency to poison our population. The edgy demeanor and mannerisms of these 'sushi' vendors are very much like the mannerisms of the Adherency in Embermoor, which leads me to believe there is a connection between the two. Our enemy, the feral beasts of embermoor, seek to adorn us with poison in disguise of an exotic food. The trap could not be more obvious, to us elder mali. It's the less educated children who think eating raw fish is a 'fun' or 'exciting' idea, that we must make a call for action This rising problem is why I write to you, my representative. End the sale of this poison, before the children are all parasite ridden. -A concerned citizen

  20. Mizziyrn, a rather nationalist minded dark elf looks over all of the papers that have come about after Haelun'or denouncation of Artimec. A single word crosses the mind of the dark elf, as he observes the seeming unending conflict between the wood elves and high elves. "Petty" Mizziyrn sets off to find much better dark elf things to do
  21. A tome can be found in both the leyulin barracks and the library. ElIhnsil'Mahnih, the wall of spear, has given the wielder of such a tool the utmost advantage in combat. In its proper use a gathering of a few outnumbered mali can easily tenfold their number of barbarians without a casualty. I've seen this preformed firsthand, and have yet to loose a single battle while utilizing this tool. Its implementation into the forces who defend mali'nor is not even a century old, yet the groups have made use of the Ilhnsil'Mahnih have been accolade in many victories. Given its youth in elven society, the proper use and understanding of the Wall of Spear has yet to be understood by the common mali. This book is expected to shed light onto the subject for the elven people, and perhaps provide a guide for military trainers to follow in their teaching. Mahnih, Wall p-phalanx, a-archer In the wall of spears, mali must stand side by side with shields extended outwards and spear (Or sword) pressed against the extended shield in preparation to thrust. This position is expected of each member of the wall. Shields are expected to be locked together, extended adjacent to. The mali behind the first row should have only spears. The spear should extend forward over the shoulder or between two front-mali. The depiction below shows the proper relationship between oem(first) and niut (second) mali. For those teachers of this formation, it's very important that the subjects of the training first understand how to properly form militaristic lines. They must have a strong understanding of the about, left, right face commands before a second row can even be completed. Once this has been taught, incorporate a second row behind the first in the training. It's recommended that you assign individuals either to become an oem or nuit mali, as to increase the speed of wall formation. It's from here one may practice spear-wall advances and shield locking. Lomi'mahnih, Fragmented Wall Only after mastering the Mahnih, may one begin the Lomi'mahnih. Its use is designed to be effective when enemy advance is narrow and one directional. Commonly the mouth of a bridge or mouth of a narrow pass. In the lomi, flanks are always assured in enemy charges, allowing any approaching threat to be completely neutralized within seconds of arrival to the mahnih. Despite its advance understanding of Wall of Spears and limited use, this has devastating use in combat. For the teacher. Ensure the soldiers can preform oem and nuit lines without problem. Beforehand, assign a soldier to be the vertex of the 'v' formation, then assign soldiers to be left or right in relation to the vertex. Add nuit if possible, with the same assignments (Left or right) Throwing and charging Another option of attack in the wall of spears is to launch the spears held by the soldiers, sending a blanket of these deadly missiles onto a grouping of foes. After the spears are launched, draw swords and charged the already broken enemy group. Teachers should ensure the soldiers know the basic oem and nuit wall before practicing throwing, followed by a charge. It's a curse we bare, to be few, yet it's with the use of the ancient and powerful elven mind that we few may stand steadfast against the throngs of savages and barbarians who dwell outside Malin's forests. We all wish that such a bloody thing such as war not be partaken in, yet our realm denies such implementations of thoughts. No matter how skilled diplomats are at our disposal, or how disciplined our citizens are, barbarians will seek to bring flame to Malin's domain regardless. It's with the Ihnsil'Mahnih, the wall of spear, that we keep them at bay. [Additional formations will be added, once more mali begin to experiment with this formation] [Related reading: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/121118-silehyaihnsil-indor-ignesae-leyulinleh-sword-and-spear-a-military-treatise-concerning-leyulin/] ((None of this should be tried in pvp, you will die.
