Yea, I agree with this. I'm personally a fan of larger maps with interesting locations and biomes to explore. On the flip side, there needs to be some form of travel to be able to reach places, such as the previous carriages and whatnot. I don't think there's really been a place on this map where I've been drawn to explore, or really been wowed by it like I have been in previous maps.

How many cats is too many cats?

Everyone else before me has pretty much summed it up. Freebuild might seem fantastic at first but it's detrimental in the long run and horrible for player retention. Plus, with the majority of people vying for a smaller map, land scars will become increasingly noticeable as there will be less space for people to actually freebuild.

I give it 3 months before there's a forum topic about how horrible the plugin is. We had almost the same exact plugin in Anthos and it was met with much excitement only for it to become a huge hassle and people just ended up using Skype (throwback) to send stuff anyways until it was removed. Still, I hope I'm proven wrong and this works out! The work by the Tech Team is always appreciated c:

Yikes is all I can say. Having an RP reason due to it being "better than voiding the RP" doesn't make it a good choice in the slightest. I don't think I've ever seen a group on LotC get more preferential treatment from the admins in my 10 years on this server.

A grizzled elf in the lands had heard of what transpired in Haelun'or, and while he had little sympathy for his fairer cousins, he does vaguely recall serving with one named Braxus all those centuries ago under Serva Rose. He now sits around the crackling fire in Nevaehlen while many others slumber, flask in hand and a smoldering cigar in the other. Having time to think about the events of the world he raises his drink a little, a salute from one old warrior to another.

Upon hearing this, being around the fire himself, the grizzled elf from earlier murmurs to himself "Which isn't a lot of minas, but it's weird it's happened four times."

"I thought Dwarves were supposed to have thicker skin than this? Getting injured in a rowdy dwarven tavern just seems like an average day over there." A grizzled elf muses, idly scratching at his beard before going about his day.

Late to the party but I always interpreted it like most others. Elves are physically/mentally mature at 18 and pretty much stop physically aging around that time, but the cultural age of adulthood is 50 was just to keep people from jumping on elves as soon as they were 18 (when this whole 50 year age thing first came about, the community I was in didn't even allow those under the age of 50 to get into relationships). Makes sense that a nigh immortal race would view those of their own kind under the age of 50 not being adults just yet (then again my elf is 540+ and sees everyone as youngins). No idea where the whole "they act like children until 50" came to be, but then again I took a 3+ year break so I'm sure a lot of weird shit happened in that time.
