    Mines

what’s the point of mining? neat idea and all, but with the economy as broken as it is, and gear for pvp not meaning much anymore, I cant see the point of this. good work regardless though, seems useful for another time.
  9. “Go go go!” exclaimed Cyrus, attempting to take a hold of one of the bandit’s reins of their horse. At this time, behind him, an Imperial Anti Terrorism Task Force led by the Colonel bursts out from an Anti Terrorist Tower on the Imperial Highway at the same time, running down the bandits as they turn and flee from the radiance exuding from the righteous Imperial Anti Terrorist Task Force. Though, in their blindness, they leave one of their own behind, who is swiftly cut down from his steed, attempts to flee on foot, and is then brought down to his knees again. Though the bandit dies on his way to captivity, the hostage was nevertheless rescued, and is now safe within the walls of Helena. A rampant crackdown on banditry plaguing the roads now beginning. “God bless Oren, Ave Oren!"

  21. THE KINGDOM OF NUMERIA The Royal Era of Aemer, A.E 426 (Year 1526) Cheers and applause greeted the newly made Margrave of Arris as he re-entered the City, with the King of Numeria in tow. Many rejoiced Aemyr’s return, especially when done in such good faith - the elevation of the beloved foreign commoner, Mormo Dale, to the position of esteemed nobility, was a well liked move by the cities’ inhabitants. It seems that for the past years, Governor Dale had ruled favourably over the conquered Numerians, even going as far as marrying one of the natives, as well as letting his subordinates form their own families in Arris. Suchs acts impressed the monarch, and saw it fit to reward the man with a new station, solidifying the rule Dale had been developing for the past years. Despite the option of being able to return back from where they once came, the Symonians defected to Numeria. Surely an indication that life back home wasn’t all that great. Which has led to the High Chancellor to personally make his way to Arris, a rare sight, for the King’s friend is rarely seen outside the Capital. Regardless of these recent events, the Army must continue on, needing to strike the anvil while it’s still hot, or else lose an opportunity to claim the center of Narros. ROYAL ACTIONS Available Imperial Denarii (Gold): 78,375 Aemyr’s gaze turns west, suddenly having lost interest in the war. He takes with him a single Magi and heads back to the Roots of the World, stopping occasionally to utilize the hospitality of his subjects. His destination lies in the peculiar anomaly previous discovered in the Mountains. The Army is left in command of the Duke of Tyria, the once defeated Numerian General, bested by Lord Dunwick in the shadows of Ischyros near twenty years ago. [Investigating POI | Aemyr + 1 Magi] The High Chancellor comes into contact with the Symonian defectors garrisoning Arris. He seeks to further inquire upon the state of the Symonian Empire, as it is suspected that the unrest is rampant, an issue that can be potentially exploited. The routine expansion of the Guilds throughout the newfound cities. [4 Merchant Guilds constructed | 36000/36000] Clearing out more land on the outskirts of Lyria to make way for manufactories [4 Manufactories constructed | 30000/30000] The continued researching of the rare mineral Osmalt. The students of the Tyrian School of Scholarly Affairs are given a minor grant in order to further fuel their capabilities on examining how Osmalt was shaped into such a way. It is now a universally recognized fact that the ancient structures of Naros utilized Osmalt in their foundations, and so spurs the search for these ancient wonders. Throughout Naros, where Numerians aren’t prosecuted, bands of students are seen roaming about, documenting and detailing anything resembling Osmalt, as well as inquiring with locals and the likes to form a hypothesis upon the techniques of operating this rare material. Sorcerers are brought into the School in attempts to shape and mold the chunk of osmalt into something resembling regular masonry, utilizing a constant stream of superheated flame magic in a controlled environment. Blacksmiths from Lyria’s manufactories are brought in to observe the process, properly ensuring that the experiment meets standard smithing. An envoy from the Tyrian School is sent over to the Bourdeleaux in attempts to acquire a shipment of Black Iron tools to further improve upon the extracting of Osmalt, as it proves to be ridiculously tiresome with the currently used methods so far. Promises are made to this western neighbour that they will have access to a source of Osmalt, should they decide to assist in this endeavour. 22. Senatus Populusque Romanus Roma Invicta! Faced against two nations, the Republic has reigned supreme over both. No Greek or Lombard had been capable of breaching the Legion of Rome - Sons of Mars indeed! Having caught the floundering northerners unprepared as they crossed the marshes of Tibur, the Praetorians decisively routed them, felling many, but despite this, the battle continued. Struck in the rear by enemy reinforcements, the Legion had been engaged by a new foe. The dogged Tarentians had shadowed them the entire way north, and now struck as the battle unfolded. Alas, their attempt was far too late, and most notably, weak. Determined to defend their homeland, the very same land this battle was fought upon, the Legionaries of the Republic turned themselves around and met the Greeks with even greater determination. So brutal was the ensuing melee that the Tarentians could no longer partake, their will for battle fracturing. Only by the Grace of God were these Greeks granted to flee, for the battle sapped the strength of all soldiery present. However, there was no time to rest. Only a few days was granted, and the Legion was once again on the move, chasing the retreating Tarentians back to their hovels. Republican Actions of the Year 701 Republican Coffers: 26,150 A sigh of relief spread throughout the populace of Rome upon the heralds declaration of victory. Though the Republic won a victory, it was paid for at a high price, but casualties be damned. If the Greeks were granted respite, the consequences would be severe. Now it was time to finish what Rome had started - The Republic continues to press the advantage, the war long from finished. Now seemingly on the rise, the King has set his eyes upon the eastern reaches of his realm, a region burdened with the rule of foreign invaders. The City will once again be his. 24. Senatus Populusque Romanus “Preposterous!” the shouts rang out through the Halls of the Senate. “The Greeks dare to have the gall to contest our righteous acts?!” the fist of a certain Senator, Lucius Tullius, slammed down upon the table. “Word has reached our Agents that they have begun the mobilization of their soldiery – they won’t be attacking their fellow Greeks, so we’ll be left wide open for an Invasion of our South!” clamored a worried Senator. The Senate was in uproar as the matters of this gathering was announced. To think that their complacent neighbors to the south would even dare think of raising a hand in contest against the Republic. Dictator Manius would have none of it - under the oversight of God, there was now a rightfully divine approved cause for war. The Senate was so unanimous upon this matter that all factions supported for a war against the State of Terantum, a long overdue ordeal was now underway. “Consul Pulla, rally the first Legion in Beneventum. You’re to strike fast and deep, additional Legions shall be raised in support of your advance. Remember, spare no Greeks - slaughter them all or deport them back across the Adriatic. We must conjure some sort of reaction from their Despot.” the Dictator spoke on, his plans being made clear to the Senate. “The Greeks shall rue the day they dared to oppose our rule.” Republican Actions of the Year 701 Republican Coffers: 26,200 Prior to their departure south of the border, the Roman Legion is upgraded with the finest Rome can offer. Forged steel makes its way from throughout the Republic and into the hands of Senator Pulla. [Upgrading the Roman Army from T1 to T3, 7 units in total | 14000/14000] As war comes to a reality, so does the need of additional soldiers. [Raising a Cohort (500) of the Second Legion, T3 Regular | 11500/11500] Stockpiling 700g The Invasion of Tarentum occurs. Dispatched on the orders of the Roman Dictator, Manius Maximus, and led by Senator Lucilus Italicum Pulla, the Legion originally dispatched to the Lombards, instead crosses over the Tarentian border, mercilessly slaughtering any in their path. They are systematic in their massacres, on a genocidal fashion - they raze any and all Greek homesteads on the border, rounding up their captives and crucifying them along the roads, a sign of their coming.
