Eh, Shamanism deals with communicating with the spirit realm, to gain power. Necromancy uses life-force to animate the dead. I think you also need to add Red Lines, Strengths, and Weaknesses

It sounds like a neat concept, but I see a direct mix of Necromancy, Shamanism and Soul Puppetry. Nothing unique can be done with this magic, that cannot be done with a combination of other magics. -1 for now, unless you add something truly unique

6th of The Grand Harvest, 1539 As I write this, I feel slightly conflicted. A fellow Mali’Aheral, Maehr, has been convicted of murder, and subsequently purified. I do not know if he was guilty and part of me hopes that he was not. He had made enemies of the Elibar’acal’s, and Taeleh has been advocating for his death often the last week. claiming Maehr was impure, and openly challenged the result of Maehr’s many trials. The mind mage that invaded the mind of Maehr and the brute that he had hired, I believe he lied about what he had seen. Regardless, I was forced to keep quiet, to avoid the wrath of Taeleh and his family, who make up most of the council. Maehr did however, commit many crimes worth of death, but hasn’t everyone. If anyone knew what I did, who I worked for, who I seek to find, I would be hunted down. I do not regret my decision, but I regret that Maehr had to die. Had he been less careless and trusting, he would have made a fine servant for Vinzakra, who would have rewarded me greatly, and was one of the few that I could have considered a friend. Nevertheless, his death provided me a way to prove my loyalty of Taeleh, as well as the rest who were present. I wonder if any others who worked for him, are still alive, perhaps I shall begin searching for them too. I must go now, Taeleh has called for us to meet in the tavern, again.

Ahern was one of the first to venture into the Fringe, and explore its contents. He spent much of his time exploring the frozen wastelands, exploring the many tombs, notably burning a large shrine to Setherien with a mage. While wandering, he stumbled across a Gravelord, standing in an abandoned town. Instead of fleeing, he approached the creature. In exchange for knowledge, the creature demanded a Mali’Ker. Ahern lured a wandering Mali’Ker into the town that the Grave Lord was waiting in, with the false story of an injured friend. After the swift death of the Mali’Ker, he was informed by the now identified Grave Lord that it was a test, a test he had passed. The Grave Lord, who had named himself as Vinzakra, offered Ahern a position among his followers, the Deathstalkers, and presented him with a suit of armor, made of bone. Ahern adjusted to his new life quickly, showing his loyalty through missions involving the death of many unfortunate wanderers. A short while later, Ahern was sent to infiltrate the nearby Dwarven city, with tunnels as well as physically and socially. After several secret entrances were made, with the assistance of several other followers, Ahern joined the local Alchemist’s guild, and entered under the mentorship of Kardel Irongut. Shortly after entering the city, a plague of unknown origins began erupting around the Fringe. Ahern assisted Kardel in the distribution of masks, as well as the cure, once it was created, gaining his trust. Pleased with Ahern’s work, Vinzakra soon sent Ahern to find a dragon, either dead or alive. Unfortunately, this task proved impossible, as the dragons had gone extinct inside the Fringe. Combined with the disappearance of Vinzakra, Ahern once again began wandering, until recently, when he recently rejoined society, where he searches for his former master.
