    Would like to point out that dark arts are NOT lacking, it is your knowledge on them that is. Shall I name a few? Yeah, why not: -Dread Knights -Necromancers -Frost Witches -Shades -Contract Magic -Soul Puppetry -Blood Magic -and more I might have missed We aren't lacking in the amounts of dark magic. I agree with everything else you said, however :)

    Well, I read through this and it begs the question; If there is an animal that a druid is 'coaxing' to do something, could a mental mage/illusionist make the animal do another thing entirely, that could perhaps be against the will of what the druid is asking? Thanks :)

    Just a question: How old would my character be, right now, if he was born during Mid-Asulon? I've had varying answers, from 75 years old to 116 years old. Thanks :D

      Eh, mid ASULON would more be around 70-100 from what the years have actually been. Sadly what our actual years are has been hopping all over the place since Asulon, so sadly the formula is incorrect 'Mining' :c

      It wasn't always 14 days = 1 IC year though. That's changed several times since mid-asulon. Used to be shorter.

    Wow, there is so much strife on the forums. I believe everyone should just calm down and RP, instead of argue. Let the staff do their job, please. If you aren't happy with whatever the hell they are doing, then get onto another roleplay server. I'm not saying I agree with what the main staff (GMs & Admins) have to say, 100% of the time, I am just saying that you need to let the staff do their job without interruption. Peace, and goodnight :)

    Button walls...so ugly...I can only imagine what new players think of these ugly things. The buttons look like pimples on the face of a hormone crazed teen, to me, and I am used to seeing them, so imagine how it is for new players?

    This is a question to all those people with unique animals as pets (etc giant friggin spiders, ice snakes or whatnot); did you have to write lore and stuff for it? Do other people have pets from the same lore you wrote?

      I have a phoenix that someone else wrote lore for. I think if it's a normal animal or an mc animal (giant spider) you can just rp it.

      As much as I enjoy diversity, I always found weird animals like that to be pretty annoying.

      I think unless its some weird non-existant breed its fine. But if your making up an animal, or its something fantasy, there should be lore for it. I RP my wolves as being Maned Wolves- A real life breed.

    That's actually not bad of a premise. Of course, you need to flesh it out a lot, but it's quite a nice idea! Please explain in more detail, however.

    Myeeeehhh.... It's ok. I am only not-so-favourable towards it because I don't feel that music should be made magical. It's like making other things magical, until everything is magic, thus removing the novelty and amazement of said magic. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but I feel that it doesn't need to be a magic. I mean, this will open the door to a lot of things: dancing magic that hypnotises people, magic used in writing beautifully, magic done when painting art, etc etc. I just feel that it is /nice/, but kind of....over the top? I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure why I don't like it, so this is my opinion. It's nice, but...too much.

    Ok...so, final clarification, would it be considered powergaming if a tier 5 anythingmancer is able to use a sword like a man with training in swordsmanship?

    I say tier 5, so it's a guy who can *poof* a wall of fire in one second, without struggle or sweat.

    Burning question of mine, although I feel I already know the answer, I want to be /sure/ as heck. Can you be a tier 5+ void mage in....I don't know....fire evocation....and be a good swordsman? I know there are no more tiers, but please bear with me. Thanks :)
