if ppl under 18 are allowed on the server any mention of sex should be banned and stork lore should be put in place !

Anybody know how to make CoA in the style of this post:
Wasn't sure if GoodGuyMatt was still around or not.
I can pay some small amount for one, if need be, with USD or mina!-
https://wappenwiki.org and a vector graphics editor like inkscape

It wouldn't matter how many realms existed if they were geographically concentrated. Let's say there's a hypothetical rule that all realms* must be placed within 2-3 tiles of two existing nations.
*(or all nations of a certain descendant race, or "theme" of rp like low/high fantasy or whatever - you could create arbitrary "hubs" as long as you minimize sprawl)
You no longer need to make the choice of "what nation do I go to?" The map has made it impossible for you to choose wrong. You go towards one nation at random, and you end up in render distance of all of them. Maybe you pass a roadside tavern or an outpost of one nation. You see players travelling on the roads between towns, for trade or warfare. More nations (settlements) in a smaller area would actually make the map feel less splintered.
It absolutely boggles my mind the way human nations are split up at least 3 ways between different soul pillar hubs. The problem isn't that there are too many of them per se, but that they are literally decentralized. The trip from Balian to Haense to Aaun takes you halfway across a continent.

#freetheET2024 (remove realm RO safeguards on event STs for consequential events plz)
-
except ROs aren't "players trusted in that specific community," they are usually nation leaders or their petty lieutenants. how do we trust that they are making the call in good faith?
I would be fine with a system based on consent for roleplay (you want to burn my house down, we have to agree on a time and fight for it) because at least it people who are directly interested in the RP decide how it plays out. usually the nation leader/region owner whatever is interested in not having their next Lavish Court Banquet interrupted, and says no.

can we just remove the RO safeguards for rp in general
it has never grooved w me that if you did all the proper rp to burn down a building or summon an elder god or whatever you wouldn't be allowed until you asked some dude who might not even be involved in the rp and might not even log on for permission

to all the people posting status updates (majority of those always complaining about safety)
guy's unbanned, i reached out to him and explained the situation
i'm overly cautious with TOS banned players who may be alting
i connected the dots incorrectly, talked to 60, and he's unbanned now
i get that i still live in your head rent free but move on

glad to know server is being kept safe from 1 guy and every one with the same name as him
it is an impossible situation for u tho don't envy it. not sure ppl will ever buy you guys being vigilant about "safety" - especially if the only evidence is extremely low hanging fruit like this - because ppl will only ever see the retrospective action of banning the guy after he has been a creep to one of your community members, and will remember in perpetuity the guys who you guys refused to ban until some1 had to bring it up publicly and get forum warned for it

Objectively if you lose a warclaim and lose your nation it should be ineligible from getting a new realm/lair app <3
-
not enough trans characters tbh. i know theres only been more and more of them in recent years, and i know that the community on lotc is becoming more accepting overall, but i cannot be sated. i won't be satisfied until every elf and every olog on lotc questions their gender!!!!!!

would agree for roleplay reasons if they were just picking up the nation and rebuilding it out of thin air somewhere else but losing a warclaim and fleeing in exile to an abandoned city makes sense narratively (they r druids! their whole thing is returning blasted forsaken places to nature).
the realm application is poorly written and it doesn't emphasize that it's an entirely possible move in roleplay but i think it is at least better than them creating another new nation called Mevaehlen with zero history in some random part of the map

everyone should look at what @Petsch2k is doing and reevaluate how they rp.

the biggest racket on lotc is the skinning community. how u going to let someone charge you a mid-range game for a pixel skin.
