Having two factions fight each other at a time, this event will progress until only two groups remain. Whichever group wins will hold bragging rights, and those five men will be called upon by the Lord Marshal to perform special tasks within times of war. The Melee Arena An utter free-for-all, contestants will rally in the center of the Tournament Area, and battle it out till one man stands. Anything goes, as long as no teams are formed during this event. The first stage ends when only two men remain, in which the second stage will begin. VECTORI "Until death or glory!" The Vectori are a company of professional soldiers that serve Oren, mainly in the Duchy of Northal. They serve as the bodyguards of House Vekon, the police force in the Duchy, and in war, soldiers for Oren, and leaders of the Duchy's levies. Ranks Levy Any man of the age of fifteen to fifty that is fit for battle and a peasant or subject in the Duchy during wartime may be conscripted into Duke Vekon's host if required. These Levies usually have full time jobs and do not comprise the standing army. Armsman An Armsman is a Vectori that has been observed, tested, and trusted before undertaking their Oaths. They are then on sworn to Oren, the Duchy, and the lords of House Vekon. They have the authority to enforce the King's justice in the Duchy and are provided for in terms of food, shelter, and armaments by House Vekon. Armsmaster This is a modified version of the traditional rank of Master at Arms. Armsmasters are usually oathed for some time, seasoned in battle, and have proven their ability to command. These are Vectori heightened above the rank of Armsman. They hold all the authority and are given the privilege to command their subordinates in and outside of battle. Honor Guard The position of Honor Guard is a job assigned to the most skilled warriors of the entire order. They accompany and defend the lords of House Vekon during battle, perilous meets, and while travelling. They are the most cautious and always prepare for the worst, taking their lords' safety above all else. They hold authority over all subordinates when on task. Knight Vectori who find themselves knighted by the King during their service are recognized and amply provided for with horses, the best armor, and the privilege to command even Honor Guard when on task. Commander A Commander is an incredibly skilled warrior who has been selected by the Duke himself to lead the Vectori and all levies in battle and assume absolute authority over all military affairs in the Duchy. In his hands, the Duke holds the dwarven offered terms. Aloud, he states his reasoning for discontent with the terms. "For so long, the dwarves have labelled our great Kingdom as power hungry and blood lusting for pursuing this war with their kind. They do not believe we want peace when they offer their terms and cry out for an end to the bloodshed. These are the same dwarves that, before we engaged them in our most righteous war, raided and murdered in every town and city on Anthos." Cedric pipes up, "Oui, Duc! I zee zem in elf lands, cutting up zem with no regard!" Brandon dips his head down a bit and says calmly, "They were the ones that proved themselves to be the bloodlusting ones. Even now, they continue assaults on Abresi and Oren civilians, belittling themselves to common banditry." Vectis nods, continuing, "We will not accept their terms until they meet our demands. We have the full right to continue this war, especially considering the atrocity that their entire military made when they allowed a HARBINGER among their ranks at the battle for the bridge! If they do not accept our terms, then surely they are too proud to give up mere prefixes and damn themselves!"

With apple in hand, he takes a bite, the juices rushing down his chin. Unceremoniously, Vectis lets it drop from his hand and stands from the chair he was sitting in. Fierce, stoney blue eyes glare into the cell in which Tundrak II sat, his wounds being tended to by Vectori.

ChocolateDrow, I would be willing to give you access to my region, Northal, so you can build a home for yourself and store your stuff. As a VIP, I can also lock your things so only you can access them. The only thing I need from you is the approximate size of your build, as we don't want random people building mansions, and to oversee the building to make sure it fits the Kingdom of Oren's qualifications for building. I like this, as a LoTC veteran. As somebody who is worried for new players and the time it might take them to adjust to this additional change from basic Minecraft, ( which causes us to lose more lasting recruits due to our server's differences to what they know of regular Minecraft ) I do not think this is necessarily a step in the right direction. I am concerned that even a tutorial island addition would be able to fully cover the breadth of this plugin and cause some new players that have potential to stay with us to just give up.

Kamura meant elf, Kamura meant Baelish, and they were no close friends of his kin in the past. Still, he read the words over carefully, admiring his prose. Surrounding him was his wife, butler, and his Vectori's master at arms. With a crackling fire before the small congregation, the Duke tossed the parchment into the flames. "This Kudo Kamura expects his Kreuzberg to remain standing while insulting the Lord Chancellor and his steward. Should be interested to see what happens."

Vectis regarded Elrolas with a nod, reciprocating the glad tidings with a wide grin of his own. Clasping Elrolas's hand was Vectis's mailed gauntlet, giving the cold chill of metal and a shake of the hand. Looking about, the Duke observed his surroundings, taking in the various details. When he had adjusted to the scenery, he replied, "likewise, Elrolas. I am glad to find you and your own are bringing change to your race. I have come to realize that Malin's children have their place in the world." In the meantime, his Vectori surrounded his flanks and rear in the event a ruckus erupted-... "Your men's assistance and valor in our war against the dwarves taught this ignorant human that fact," he says, gesturing to himself, a chuckle issuing before he continues. "I have arrived with my men, war-hardened from the dwarven battlefront, to assist your 'Conclave' in the pursuit of their ideals. We will assist you with pen and sword in hopes we might forge a last friendship between men and elves as this great conjunction of Anthos occurs."
