  2. Vak'thuul watches over the destruction of the manor for a while, before traveling along the roads of Anthos. Whispers reach him. He sees the banners. "War... such a chaotic thing... this shall be excellent, indeed." The strange, melodic voice of the Harbinger reaches no ears as he observes the humans.
  3. Kristian looks at the notices, and immediately goes to the grindstone. Time to sharpen his sword for that inevitable slaughterfest that comes during a ball. Or party. Or wedding. Or really, any public festive event in Anthos. Passing by Griff, he gives a happy whistle. "Five minas says they last an hour."
  4. That was a fun event :3 (Granted, I was playing a Harby.) What did you guys think?

  5. Alright, guys. Time to stop. Unless you have actual advice on how to RP an assassin... please label your page something else. This really isn't needed at all.
  6. My inner grammar freak... guys... it's... *ASSASSIN
  7. A fond farewell, Telanir. Have good luck wherever the wind takes you!
  8. Kristian nods in approval! "We ain't weak no more... this be a fully functionin' nation... good job, Conclave."
  9. Can't get on today, guys. Apologies to all those making modreqs!

  10. Thanks for putting this forth, Gaius! I do hope to see these changes in action, because I really do want to make this much better and fun for you guys ^-^
  11. Guys... stop with the boycotts and all that. It's my fault, and I'm 'fessing up to it :P. No one is to blame for my poor direction of this event! I promised you guys, and I let you down. Trust me, though... this'll all get better. I realized my mistakes this time~
  12. To be completely honest, I didn't expect the event to be that big. I'm taking responsibility for all that went wrong during, simply because it was my fault, because of these reasons. Server-wide broadcasts. Yeahhhh... only Lenniel and the surrounding towns were supposed to hear it, not the Dwarves and humans. Spur of the moment. This idea was new, and Goldrim and Arzota had come up with it over the last day. Today we tried to put it into action, with only a bit of notification. I had told the Harbingers to not use any spells at all during the battle. This... caused trouble, as people are now used to PvP in Harbinger events. We weren't trying to PvP, as you guys could tell. The Obelisk... well... you see... this was supposed to be in the center of town, but that quickly became crowded. That was supposed to be set up earlier. Also, the objective was to destroy it (since most folks had Lenniel perms) but we had to change it since so many people showed up. Thus, take all complaints to me, if you were Harbinger or player. I do hope you all at least had a bit of fun.
  13. ((Just introducing a new character... in RP, he was always there. If you read the spoiler at the bottom, you'll see the other purpose of this post~))
  14. The wind of the north howled, whistling past the fortresses of the Scourge and their allies. If one were to look at the entrance to this desolate wasteland, they would spot a creature. A Harbinger, no less. But this one was different. His armor was lined with a golden hue, its helmet spiked and chestpiece black as the night in which it thrived. Arms crossed, he watched over the wind-whipped landscape, noting the corruption as it painstakingly, inch by inch, made its way into the lands of the mortals. But... while his body was silent, his mind was not. One looking upon it would find terrible, terrible thoughts indeed. This... thing, it was a work of evil. He stared, watching as the lesser Harbingers ran out, some in armor, others in their mist-like forms. Among them were scattered cultists, those who believed in His power. They were all under Him, the great and dark ruler of the North, Setherien. He? Well, he was just a simple servant, enacting his will. And how glorious it was. The advancing corruption... the raw power... the chaos... it was different. There was an amazing order to chaos, if one were to look hard enough. Something powerful, unseen. When everything was tainted, chaotic, it was all alike. And it was beautiful. Beauty in the chaos. Something the mortals had yet to see. "And we shall bring it to them, my brothers... we shall show them His power... that His way is the right way..." the strange Harbinger said, his tone soothing and melodic. He walked down from the pillar, and with a slow, careful stride, he set off into the lands of the mortals. His quest... his crusade, had begun. The mortal forces of this world were in for a new surprise, a new enemy to fight. Who would stand up to him? Would they defeat him? Or would the duty to His will prevail? Only time would tell. "I will enact his will. So I swear... for I am the Keeper. The Lord of the Harbingers." "I am Vak'thuul."
  15. Hi there. I have volunteered to lead the Harbingers and other small antags to a degree OOCly (of course, I am still below Viper, and I will be talking to others for support. The issues that you are bringing up are being addressed, and will be solved accordingly. I'm terribly sorry for sounding professional and whatnot... but... you know, that's the way we should address this, not jokingly post stuff on the forums! I look forward to RPing with you guys as Vak'thull, the Keeper.

  16. Vak'thuul sits on his assumed throne, pondering. His assumed voice, melodic and soothing, lets out a small sigh as he hears of this. "Oh, those poor fools... their will sure is strong... but they shall fall... they all shall fall."
  17. Mind drawing my character Yulnii? <------- That's her! Any other information you need?
  18. I want someone, without raging or spamming, to calmly explain to me what is wrong with the antagonist. I will put your suggestions through and act upon them.

Well, my only problem is with the Harbingers... It seems it's more about their show, that they're only allowed to be the antags, and not actual players, if that makes sense. I enjoyed the origional antags that were these burned corrupted people, and it was all players, and they were treated like a guild (kind of). It seemed more of player-run thing, where everyone had a chance to be one, where as now, it's more of a exclusive club, where only the harbingers can do something cool.....

    3. Merkaken

and be the focus of evil. It just seems more run by the staff/who the staff chooses. I'm doing my best to say what I think through status, though if you need me to, I can PM either of you a more detailed explination

The harbingers should be able to beat players without having to run along spamming spells at their feet. Also, the infection spell was absolute hell for someone who didn't know about it, especially since chat was spamming too fast with the messages from it to actually read anything.
