  1. An arrisk is a conifer shrub that grows in groups along mountain ridges, in areas where not many varieties of foliage are capable of growing, or mountain meadows. It typically grows to be around 16 inches (.4 meters) in diameter and 18 inches (.45 meters) high. In the summer, if it is in a fairly temperate area such as a meadow, the shrub can fruit, giving off fleshy red cones that can can be eaten like berries, however they do not taste particularly good. If they grow these 'fruits', some of the leaves will flatten out and look a little bit like scales on a fish, and oftentimes these leaves will form around the berry, making it look almost like a flower. Due to the windy atmosphere it finds itself in, arrisks grow roots that go deep into the ground and then grow tiny barbs so they have a firm grisp on the ground around them and will not risk being blown away in particularly harsh winds. Its roots, when ground up, create an extremely potent drug named Rusk. Rusk Dosages and Side Effects Preparing Rusk
  2. After getting word of the uprising, Vagud let out a low groan and embeds his hoe deep into the soil. "Nud enyazh kun klomp duh Rex to bikum Rex. Diz ez uh nub'hozh prutendur, nuvin muhr." He sighs and shakes his head, sounding more annoyed than anything.
  3. Saraid sets her copy of the treatise down and nods, mildly impressed. "What d'ya know, a Vigil guard said somethin' smart for once."
  4. Thanks for removing the PvP buffs admins! I think it's a step in the right direction.

  6. Where is the boundary between a 'simple' minimap mod and one that will get someone banned? That seems like a pretty vague distinction that should be clarified.
  7. 10. With a heavy heart, Mrakal would step out of his blarg, his hair glittering red from redstone, to take a break from his work. "Zheym mi kud nub hev bin heeyur zuunur. Mi wundur iv da pinkiez agh twiggiez wyl zelubreyt hym flat'n." ((I really do wish I had come back sooner, since Orcs seem like they were really interesting during your rule. I'm glad to hear you want to try and keep working with us, but I hope you don't push yourself to try and stay involved if you have real life stuff to do as well.))
  11. With highway bandit being much easier in Axios, I think it will start to be a lot more prevalent. I know that a lot of Orcs have started to prefer RP fighting as opposed to PVP (I'll admit that that might be partially due to the removal of the Orc buff) and when banditing you deal with smaller crowds, so you can at least potentially RP the fight instead of defaulting to PVP.
  12. So would all racial bonuses that affect the game mechanically (speed buffs, jumping, etc.) be removed since they can be considered PvP buffs, or do they have enough utility outside of PvP that they might stay?
  13. Reaver Bat Habitat: Reaver bats live on both Asul and Tahn, but the vast majority live on Asul. They are found in dense forests where there is enough free space between the trees to fly around comfortably and the canopy is dense enough to block out most sunlight. In Asul, they can be found in the near pitch black forest north of the War Uzg in the day or other similar forests on the isle. On Tahn, while very small in numbers, they live in the vast forest along with Linandria. The Tahn Reaver bats tend to live further away from settlements and roads though, so the recent settlers have forced them to change their homes, and they might eventually branch out to other areas on Tahn. Description: Reaver bats, named after their tendency to whisk farm animals such as pigs away in the middle of the night, are omnivorous creatures that might be mistaken for a young drake due to its impressive wingspan and fur that mostly black (except for its head, where it slowly changes into a shade of dark gray). They have an aversion to harsh light like what the sun shines down, so they usually either spend the day sleeping hanging from whatever they find that can support their weight, scavenging mushrooms, or hunting for prey. Their diet usually is mostly mushrooms and other flora edible to them, but they will not shy away from eating small animals that can easily be picked up and fly away with the animal in its mouth. When hunting large prey, they swoop down to bite down on the animal with its pointed row of teeth, much like that of a shark's, and use the momentum it has to pull the a good hunk of flesh off of most animals. They typically prefer prey that they can carry away with them so that nothing else eats it. But, while most reaver bats would only be able to pick up a deer in one piece, groups of them will occasionally gang up on animals and divide the food between each other, with one group of five reaver bats being capable of killing a wyvern. It is unknown if, like wolves, there is a hierarchy that determines who would get the most food from those events. At night, they tend to venture a little bit further out of the forest in order to search for food. When they go out, they usually stay in open areas, where they are capable of flying without too much fear of bumping into anything. These bats are not particularly social, but they will alert one another of predators. Reaver bats normally do not attack people unless provoked by attacking them, their young, or prey that had caught its eye, but small children risk being taken away by them if the children are alone in a forest that these bats inhabit. There are a couple differences between the populations of the two isles reaver bats are known to inhabit. The most prominent of these is the changes in wingspan. Both variations have similar abdomen sizes (usually around 3.5, or 1.1 meters, standing up) but the Asulian reaver bat has a smaller wingspan, typically ranging from 8-10 feet (2.4-3 meters) in order to more easily glide through the rather low clearings they're accustomed to, and are also masters of swooping through the air. Due to the low treeline, the area in which they live, while overall very open compared to other forests or the nearby jungle, is extremely cluttered with roots and trees and other obstacles. So, they have learned to deftly fly through the air and how to navigate, seemingly mastering the art of flight in a way few birds ever could. They do not fly particularly fast, but they are masters of maneuvering around. Tahnian reaver bats are larger, usually 9-12 feet (2.7-3.7 meters) since they have much for open area. They do not have the same prowess with flying Asulian reaver bats do, as they spend most of their time gliding around underneath the canopy of the forest, but they are very strong. Tahnian reaver bats consist a lot more on meat than their Asulian counterparts, most likely due to mushrooms and other things like that that grow in the forests on Asul are less common there. These bats are capable of going after and flying away with heavier prey than their Asulian counterpart could, but they are also much rarer on Tahn than they are in Asul. And with their impressive wingspan, they are usually capable of gliding through the forest like a hawk or another large bird would. 14. Inside of his blarg, Mrakal, whose right leg now ends in a grotesque stump just below the kneecap, carefully arranges his trophies in a stone display case to display several small pale bones that appear to be fingers, stripped of flesh, and several large and yellow teeth. The smell of carrion and bad breath permeates through the house, managing to make Mrakal's eyes water. "Urgh...meybi mi zhud gu agh ged uh lehmun trii ur zumtin." The goblin mumbles to himself and sits down against the wall of his blarg, carefully setting himself down as he balances himself on what appears to be nothing more than a very large stripped branch being used as a cane. He looks down at his leg and wiggles it around, testing the leg's movements. The stump looks more like a massive burn scar than anything, almost as if his leg had been burnt off instead of being crushed by the nearly twenty foot tall cyclops. "Mi huhp ed wuz wurv ed." He grunts, slightly proud of himself for his fight against the cyclops, but also jealousy. "Mi wuz duh azhzt azh tu ehngeyj da azh peepur ehn uh klomp, agh duh azh whu zakruvyzed duh muzt. Agh uhl mi gud ez zum fihngurz agh teef." He grabs his cane and stabs it into the ground beneath him, embedding it into the ground in a fit of anger. "Wen wyl mi ged da ruhzpekt mi duhzurvz?" He then proceeds to spend the rest of the day complaining quietly to himself about his new disability.
  15. Come back to Orcs bb I miss you

  16. Mrakal grunts eagerly once he hears the news. "Tik tu meyk diz zkahur pay fur wubevur hi did!" He rubs his hands together and runs off to his shack, immediately getting to work on some new project, something that he most likely plans to use on the captain.
  17. tfw you know what you should do RP wise but you can't as a player bring yourself to do it because you know it's a bad idea.

  18. Mrakal pauses in front of the tavern, looking at it curiously. "Hrmph. Mi rehmembur wen mi wunned tu uhpen uh tavern en da Uzg." He blinks quickly, his face softening for a few second as he reflects on his memories of what feels to him like an entirely different life, but then slowly turns into something like somber irritation. "Uhl da trubul mi hed tryen tu uhpen et, agh den diz uhpenz up zhu kwihk." He grunts and walks away from the tavern, mumbling to himself about why the tavern should be his.
  19. Yeah, I've voted a few times today, too, and haven't gotten any votes. I hope this is fixed soon, because the economy will be really stagnant if this doesn't get fixed.
  20. No, that's not how that works. The first sperm to get to the egg isn't the one that fertilizes it. There is a mucus barrier that separates the uterus and the sperm, and when sperm interacts with it, it begins to weaken enough for the sperm to get through. So the first sperms are basically cannon fodder, and middle of the pack sperms should have the best chance of fertilization.

  24. I'm not sure if I understand the market stations. They're premade shops hidden out in the wilderness? This could be interesting, and would at the very least be a way to get the economy started without people having to vote. Are these designed to be used throughout 5.0, or are they mainly there for the beginning? I feel like they could end up being nullified extremely early by people not selling and only buying, or vice versa.
