Goblins=STEM graduates Human=liberal arts graduates The others have said it better than I ever could, but I also want to add that goblins also have a predisposition to alchemy, so they are not solely tinkering/engineering/etc. I would say that it is fairly close, and due to the different fields humans and goblins cover, it's very hard to determine something like this. So what I say is that it's not the race that matters for something like this so much as it is the individual. Both races are smart, by and large, in different fields, but of course there is overlap with individuals who cross over to the different fields. Now hopefully this thread can keep going as it is, but I feel like it is going to devolve into a race war pretty soon.

I am for professions, however I think there needs to be stuff done to make it more roleplay oriented, because, believe it or not, this is a roleplay server, not Guild Wars. What if you could get bonus XP modifiers to professions as a reward for good RP. The way this would work, since we can't expect a GM to be constantly on the lookout and reward everybody who might deserve it if he isn't around, is that people would fill out a form, like how you do with ban appeals or any sort of application, saying who they are, what profession they should get the bonus for (if it is not directly related to a profession already), providing screenshots or descriptions of the RP and hopefully elaborating on the RP and why it is good enough to merit the bonus. The bonus can range from a few hours to a few days and, if the person is consistently doing exceptional RP, maybe permanent? The system would have a preference toward RP that relates to a profession, since that will be the easiest to determine what profession to apply the bonus and as a way to encourage people to RP out crafting stuff, but if you do some particularly exceptional RP, you might be able to get the bonus, but it will be a bit harder than profession-based RP. I think this would go a long way to encourage people to roleplay crafting and try and make the whole experience feel more involved.

I am really glad the GM team is reqlly trying to improve transparency. It's definitely a step toward hopefully fixing a lot of issues and grievances people have with the GMs and LotC as a whole. Do you know if any of the other teams will be taking further steps to improve transparency as well?

I'd like to say that, for a good month if I remember correctly, my username was Boot_Sloot, and I didn't receive any trouble. And this was back on Athera, when it seemed like they were cracking down on that stuff a lot more than they are today.

I understand the system is mainly for RP, but what exactly are the limits for which you can use heists? Could you use a heist to, say, sabotage an area (i.e cripple a farm by killing a large amount, if not all, animals, destroy supply chests instead of trying to take things, vandalize buildings) if you wanted to? Along with that, if you do actually want to take things, will the typical restrictions to lockpicks apply?

I think maybe the reason so much fuss about the lag came up today, aside from trying to find something to blame, is that a lot of our plan relied on consumables. At 3:27-3:43, you can see me struggling to eat that haggis and regen. I'm not saying eating that would have saved me, it most likely wouldn't have, but that was one of those things where it messed with what we wanted to do so much it made it hard to do anything aside from just click and hope you hit someone.

I think these definitely have some potential for events, and definitely would make Axios feel a lot more unique. Very in depth, very well written. I would say you should be proud, even if this is denied like it was before, to have written something like this up not just once, but twice.
