THUS UNTO TYRANTS
Attend the words of a Republic of freemen! With the thrust of our sharp blades we have felled the Silver Tyrant of Lurin and unshackled ourselves from the past. Our destiny now lies within our hands, guided by God on high.
When the good deputies of our republic, militia and holymen alike, arrived in the city of Lurin it was clear foul magic grew at its centre. Decay was found, but we rebuked it - for there is no reconciling with the void, lest our rights be trampled by Iblees’ deceivers.
Yet, Narithen Uialben dwelled in that decay, if not encouraging it. So we found him on a throne, alone, as all oppressors shall die, and brought him the justice and will of the people. He fled before our onslaught, but a wildman by the name of Enor Cray took his head. So let it be known, that is the duty of all just men, to resist and end tyranny. And thus Salvo has been freed.
Such disregard for the people is what we must face - and we do not shy away. Our folk in the old lands of Lurin will each have their voice heard, and we will do so as equals. In this Republic, it is not by privilege or class, but by will and common interest that our nation will steer itself well into the future.
So we speak to you, the common man in all realms: There is land for any man or woman to stake a claim in our nation, unburdened from the privileged landowners of olde, should they be willing to raise arms for the Republic. It shall also be your voice which resolves the laws of our land, not that of a blue-blooded titlemen who knows not the sweat of our brow or the dirt on our hands.
Yet, it is paramountly the duty of each man to defend their fellow canonists against the voidal mages that haunt our nation. Our enemies have sworn to exterminate us but they underestimate our will. We will relish in our rights or perish in their defense.
