1. Orcs are time and again just used as a convenient avenue for pvp raiding, speaking as a player who came to the server in 2015, left and then came back in early 2018. It is tedious to say the least.
2. Players talk about Orcish culture being very interesting, but it seems to be routinely bulldozed whenever the pvp raiding enthusiasm returns to the forefront of the community and becomes its focus, over the culture.
3. Last map there was a new Orc player. He walked the roads between Sutica and Urguan as I recall, and would stop passers-by and challenge them to duels. Crucially he would allow children and unarmed persons to pass, as it would not result in honourable combat. My only encounter with him, was in the aftermath of Mina's ex-Rex bombing the Urguan throne room. During talks of reparations, in which the Rex's arm was demanded in payment for the arm the bombing had removed from King Utak, this new guy stepped forward and offered his arm so that his Rex would not have to. This was a player who was committed to good roleplay and roleplaying the honour of an Orc, which is routinely ignored or conveniently 'flexible' should the player wish to generally act belligerently. This player hasn't stuck around to my knowledge, and I can only speculate why, but his character was capable of changing a lot of people's thoughts (iRP and OOCly) about Orcs, and it's a pity his example has largely gone unheeded.
Stop harassing Quav too, my God. Tell Jandy to grow up.
