✠ A TREATISE ON ST. EDMOND OF LACHSIN ✠ 8th of Owyn’s Flame 1827 A depiction of St. Edmond What is history to a Squire? In short, everything. In the absence of history, mistakes are repeated and slowly evil starts to arise. It is eventual that without the guidance of our venerated ancestors that we will be misled to a fickle path of dishonor and blasphemy. This is why we must look back on history and learn. For this reason, I dove deep into the library to learn virtues from the Saints. The Saint Edmond of Lachsin spoke out to me, almost as if GOD flicked my interest to focus on his tale. A tale of valor, honor and healing. In recent times, I’ve gained a near life-ending injury that will follow me for the rest of my life. In truth, my faith of God was injured. It was the tale of St. Edmond that reminded me of whom I am supposed to be. To be merciful, hospitable and faithful to GOD, always. To give aid to others despite how it would detriment us, as St. Edmond gave mercy to his enemies despite his bloodthirsty comrades. In summary St. Edmond was a good Knight at the heart. His actions beamed with chivalry and virtue, traits I think all men, regardless of faith or standing should seek to emulate. In conclusion, I implore every Squire or Scholarly Canonist reading this to seek out the history books! Just as how St. Edmond’s flaming blade revealed the Urguanite flank, the tales of our ancestors would reveal the evil in our ways and the path to redemption. Praise be to God! The Darkness was overwhelming. Nearly fifty two years of pitch, black nothingness in Stargush’Stroh. Although the occasional visitor came to Skalp via shamanism, including Ugrad; nothing felt real. They were not there. Then, on a day like any other, the Ancestral Spirit sat and waited, pondering his life he had so quickly thrown away. Ugrad and he had many talks about how he should not go, how he should not bomb the Urguanite thrown room. Despite their love, despite their union; Skalp threw it all away for glory. A mistake. Skalp thought bitterly. But that would not change his existence. The late Rex would breathe a deep sigh, he has been here before. After all, fifty two years of mulling the same thoughts over and over in your head, fifty two years of yearning for one more second of life just to be with the one you love; it all becomes so tiresome and boring after a while. Then, he felt it. The touch in his fingertips, the drumbeat of his heart. Skalp opened his eyes to see light as if he was a pup opening it’s eyes for the first time to reveal a wondrous savannah around him. Has this been what was hidden from him all this time? Shrouded in pitch blackness was this natural splendour? “Is that you?” He heard from across the plains, and immediately it was all worth it. All those years, all that loneliness. He and his love were together again, this time for eternity.

As someone that's been in the Orc Community for 4 years or so, and has been Rex, I thought I'd give my few pointers. Question 1: What is one thing you dislike about Orcs/Krugmar? How can it be improved? Simply said, Orcish culture is undefined and lacking. If you look at the rest of the server, there's a multitude ways of RP. In Providence you can rp as: A priest, A warrior, A bartender, A courtier, A Businessman, A tailor, A smith, A noble, A beggar etc etc etc. Now, you can play all of these in Krugmar aswell, just under different names. However, the reason we rarely see any of them played is because of Krugmar's economy, or lack thereof. Other than that, Orc RP is undefined. There's tons and tons of lore from 10 years of experienced lore writers, but with each passing Rex it churns and changes. When I was Rex, I had this veteran Orc player telling me one thing, then another telling me another. My advice to you Pancakez would be to define every bit in a post, then refer back to it. Question 2: What is one thing you like/admire about Orcs/Krugmar? It's warrior culture. I admire that if you're looking for blunt, honorlike roleplay, then Krugmar is the place to go. Shamanism rp is peak aswell. Question 3: What do you think Orcs/Krugmar biggest opportunity for improvement is? Internally, it needs to have a more defined playergroup and identity. When you stop being Rex, I dont want to see all your hard work disappear like mine did. Make it harder to become Rex, make Orks be proud of being Krugmarians first and their clans second.
