  1. A man working a forge stopped a moment as he received a bird. He carefully peeled the paper apart, and upon reading the news that same paper gently floated to the ground. Suddenly everything felt dark and despite the beauty of the town he resided in, Aydin felt disgusted by everything. He looked around, spinning in circles in disbelief before uttering. "Where was I? Where was I when my family needed me? I'm a damn coward. Damn it.. Borsa.. why?!"

  3. ✦~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~✦ Seeking Guidance? The Bones Will Speak. ✦~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~✦ ✦~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~✦ To those who seek wisdom, I am Freydis Volik, a Seidr of the Volik Family, trained in the ancient scyfling art of bone scrying. Through the casting of the runes, I offer guidance, clarity, and insight—not visions of the future, nor omens of fate, but a reflection of the forces at play in one’s life. If your heart is burdened with uncertainty, if you stand at a crossroads unsure of your path, come and sit before me. The bones do not weave destiny, but they may offer you the discernment you seek. I welcome all who wish to consult the runes, whether you find yourself in the heart of Haense or beyond. If distance keeps you away, send word by letter, and I will arrange a time for us to meet. May the spirits guide your steps, and may God keep you safe. ✦~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~✦
  4. ✶Reza Talya Weiss✶ "In life, she searched for forgiveness in the shadows of her own sorrow, yet found only the echoes of love she could never accept." “Vy can niet live vyr life as if vyr like everyawun else. Vy can’t, because vy are cursed with our name. Vyr must fight, ag vy must fight vyr entire life. To keep vyr blood safe.” Reza Weiss grew up with a father who hated himself so wholly that he couldn’t stare in the mirror. He spilled blood because he could, not to protect but to cause harm. He often spoke such dark feelings towards Reza, often telling her that they were Misfits—outcasts. She was like him, and she had that deep, dark monster inside her—one of Hate. She always held on to such words, feeling them as truth. She was mean at times- and nice other times, but she couldn’t tell which was truly her. Was she a good person? Was she a horrible person? Was she a monster? Her mother often told her she wasn’t. She said she was a kind girl. Reza loved her mother deeply but she couldn’t believe those words, even in her youth. Reza was violent at such a young age, punching- hurling insults. She wasn’t the best of children. She made great friends even though she was such a violent girl, Friends she’d end up hurting. She continued that path of self-hate until her father ran away, he left and her family crumbled. She remembered seeing her mother with blood that was not her own, upon her dress. Something she had never seen. So she sought out the man who hurt their family, who dared to turn against the many words of wisdom he had given her throughout her life. She found him one evening, accompanied by her long-time friend Viviana. She had sought out the man to kill him, for betraying her love and her family's love... But she couldn’t bring herself to do it. That hate she once saw in her father's eyes, was gone. She couldn’t kill Eikthyr, she never would have been able to. He was a permanent reminder, that he was not her father- and neither was she. She swore she’d live honestly, and stop the darkness that lurked in her heart. The honest life was hard to keep up with, especially when her sister and brother-in-law passed. She found herself trying to teach their kids- trying to make sure the Heir to Weiss was going to be right. She was cruel and hard on Karl, in ways she could never make up for. She tried to show love for him by being hard and cruel, just as her father had been. The void this created between her nephew and her would never be fixed. After an altercation with the youth, she decided to leave. She abandoned her family much like her father had- running away and changing her name to Rei, hoping she would keep her family safe if she wasn’t around. She lasted many years before she returned home once more, stumbling upon Verena, her niece-in-law. She adored her since they first met, she cared greatly for the woman, and upon returning she promised she’d never leave again. She wouldn’t cause her that pain- she would be there through all the punches. And yet... She’d never keep that promise. She was slowly fixing things, she begged her uncle to live with him until she earned her nephew's trust again, until she could be proud to be called a Weiss. That would take time and her uncle allowed her the comfort of a home until that time came. Things were looking up again until they weren't. She spoke to her nephew, Karl, and he never accepted her apologies and never forgave her, she had wounded him too greatly and it would take long years for her to regain his love and care. She was devoted to doing it. Fate had other plans. Reza’s life came to an abrupt end one quiet afternoon, as she rested against a tree, savoring a rare moment of peace. A stranger approached, asking too many questions, disrupting the fragile calm she had found. Her temper flared, and she snapped at him—the last mistake she would ever make. In a swift and brutal end, the man silenced her forever, leaving Reza lifeless and headless beneath the shade of the tree. She died an old woman, not with honors or redemption, but with a heart still heavy with regret and sorrow. A life of good intentions marred by missteps, haunted by the love she had never allowed herself to feel.
  5. "Oh! I'm so excited for Lady Verena!!" Lady Amaya Kortrevich excitedly proclaimed after reading the missive, her eyes gleaming as she sought out a gift for the two!
  6. [!] Deep in a forest, Aethline, an elf filled with worry, heard troubling news. Her face, marked by scars, twisted sadly as she held a blade made by a friend long gone. Her fingers traced the initials on its handle, memories flooding back. For a day, sadness consumed her as she remembered the help her friend gave. Alone, she whispered softly. "Rest well, old friend... rest well." Her words, though quiet, carried her sorrow and gratitude through the silent trees, honoring the dead. [!]
  7. "He should be here soon, do vy think he'll cry?" A soft voice left the once sickly Sierra Weiss as she fished beside her father. She was healthy, no longer plagued by her condition. She was enjoying her paradise, and her time with her beloved father forever. As Felix rose to his feet, the Lady's head turned, lips curling into a giant smile. She waited for the two to have their reunion, watching with a happy hum. As her father returned to her side she rose from her seat, dashing over to jump up and embrace her brother in a tight hug. "Oh how ea've missed vy Borsa! Ve have so much to show vy!" "Welcome home." She kissed his cheek before happily walking over to the waters once more, offering out a fishing rod. "Let's catch some fish!" "Hauchpapej Audo es.. dead?" Reza raised her brow at the news, her brows furrowing tightly. She waited a long moment to think of how to feel. She knew him to be distant, he was a busy man. She admired him strongly in her youth, it was sad to hear that he had joined her Hauchmamej in the seven skies. She felt the desire to drink, to drown the grief in alcohol- but instead, that woman decided to run. So in honor of her passed grandfather, Lady Reza Weiss could be seen doing laps around the festival grounds, not stopping for breaks- running for a full day- face painted with sweat and tears.
  8. Reza had been concerned with the crowds she had spotted, it was odd to see so many about for that time of day. That's when she heard news of what happened. The Koenas was dying. Reza felt her heart break at such. She remembered many times where the Koenas had become her idol. She adored her. She would follow the crowd in saddness, remembering when the Koenas had came to her home to give her a banner.. proclaiming that Reza was just like her in her youth. Oh how she wished she could have done something amazing to make the woman proud- but she'd never get that chance now. "Rest well Vyr Majesty.. vy've earned et." She whispered out, signing the Hussaryin before walking to the tavern to drink her sorrows away.
  9. Hehehe... if any of you want a bingo.. hit me up >:)
  10. [!] Rushing fast into the tavern the young Lady Weiss burst through the doors- exclaiming loudly for the Lady Bard! She promptly shoved a paper at her comrade and exclaimed. “Yam en Agony! Vy need to help mea make this!” Thus the two traveled to Novkursain to write and sing the ballad of the Brotherhood's Agony. [!] Lyrics [REZA] Did I abuse them Or show them disdain? Why do they run from me? If I should lose them How shall I regain The Oath they have won from me? Agony—! Beyond power of speech When the one thing you want Is the only thing out of your reach [VERDIER] High in his office He sits by the hour Maintainin’ the heir Blithe and becomin’ And frequently hummin’ A lighthearted air: Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah— Agony—! Far more painful than yours When you know he would write with you If your rank were only one more [BOTH SOLDIERS] Agony! Oh, the torture they teach! [VERDIER] What's as intriguin’— [REZA] Or half so fatiguing— [BOTH SOLDIERS] As what's out of reach? [REZA] Am I not sensitive, clever Well-mannered, considerate Passionate, charming As kind as I'm beautiful And niece to a Marshal? [VERDIER] You are everythin’ the Brotherhood could wish for! [REZA] Then why no—? [VERDIER] Do I know? [REZA] The man must be mad [VERDIER] You know nothin’ of madness Till you're climbin’ their ranks And you see them up there As you're nearin’ them All the while hearin’ him "Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah—" [BOTH SOLDIERS] Agony! [REZA] Misery! [VERDIER] Woe! [BOTH SOLDIERS] Though it's different for each [REZA] Always ten steps behind— [VERDIER] Always ten ranks below— [BOTH SOLDIERS] And they’re just out of reach Agony That can cut like a knife! I must have them tonight Signed, Lady, Comrade, Reza Talya Weiss “Lady Bard of Haense,” Verdier
  11. Somewhere in the Seven Skies a Kortrevich Lady who has been passed for decades, blinks down upon the words. Tears fluttered out her blue hues. The words in the unpublish poems ached her once alive heart. She missed the days of when she was a young girl in a happy world before she died. "Beautifully written Borris.. Beautifully written." She uttered out with a faint smile. Even in death somethings never changed..
