  • (NEW) A single area, settlement or structure may not be raided by any raiding party more than once every two days at least.

I hear the Antags raided more than once today.

This was not Abresi, this was Sanctuary- the Conclave.

Both locations ended rather poorly.

As a character who is quite incapable of PVP, and elected to be a spectator for the event, I was very distraught to find myself being deliberately shot by the attacking group. Ultimately I was killed by a mob-spawning spell being tossed at my feet, and being immediately massacred by skeletons.

I personally enjoyed the roleplay leading up to it, and the initiation was fine to me. Even the battle didn't seem like such a slaughter. My only issue is with the murdering of spectators.

Also - We had /status for a reason. All malinor forces were performing and the antags were stars or w/e. You should only be killing ones with the status and not every single person in conclave. As you almost killed 5 people in a house that had nothing to do with an event. Thanks guys. GG no re.

Ok, so to respond to this mess of an event I will begin now.

Firstly, 6 of us came in to RP in the conclave as our dwarven antagonists, cultists who ultimately worship Khorvad. We began to preach and RP'ed in the center of the conclave for a solid 15 minutes before the citizens of the conclave wished to initiate PvP. We do not initiate combat without the player asking first. There where at least 20 active people against us so we began the Pvp as normal. Being atagonists we did our thing and summoned mobs, mobs do not see the difference between players and thus killed whatever they saw. Players complained of being killed repetitively but the thing is, you cannot return to death until PvP is over regardless of it being your home. Now we had some people new to the plugin, so admittedly a few more mobs then we wanted where spawned. Other players complained of there being zero RP, regardless of showing up half way through the event to the combat part only. I do not know why people even complained of zero RP, I myself did at least 6 emotes about freezing the tree without people reacting before the conclave citizens began to sing the spongebob squarepants theme song.

We are new to this and are trying to get our bearings down on this and apologize for any inconvenience caused by losing your precious virtual items

To be honest, I've actually RPed peacefully within the conclave, and I've even tried to do that tonight. I may be an antagonist, but I can be passive if I wish. I was telling the good news of setherien to a few small children who had come up to my harbinger and asked what in the world he was. It was great fun, I enjoyed speaking with the children and showing off a few tricks, my character telling them the good works of his dark lord, the Great Flame of the North. Until, a few lovely armored men ran up to me, and demanded PVP default. You claim that we are bad, yet I've only tried to create interesting RP. However I get killed in PVP constantly by you all because you  'Want nothing to do with the untags' as I've heard. However, I'll keep coming back, and keep trying to provide as much fun as I can. You can kill me all you wish, it will not deter me from creating an enjoyable RP environment. Everyone I've RPed with has seemed to enjoy it, at least before I'm slaughtered in PVP with little RP other than 'IT'S A SCOURGE, KILL IT'

You want to complain? You're all just hypocrites.

(To clarify against all the people attacking me now in the comments. No I don't expect to not be killed, and yes I understand my job as an antagonist. What I do appreciate though is proper RP leading up to the calling of PVP, or at least an RP fight every now and then. I was referring to, at least with the hypocritical accusation, that you all jump to PVP and MC mechanic slaughter with no RP. This is an RP server after all, treat it as such.)

The Conclave* sorry.

To confirm the restrictions I've added to the dwarven antagonists so far.

Rules:

- No going in or around capital cities with more than two people. (Dwarf antagonist or server antagonist.)

- No spawning mobs in or around capital cities outside of fully planned events.

- Do not attack anyone without a status unless they swing at you first.

If any are seen to have broken these rules, please let me know. Hopefully this will serve to rectify some of the issues you've been having.

I believe an event like this happened in San'orka and it seemed to go off without a hitch... I enjoyed it.

Just saying, don't kill me... can't we all just get along mon?

Im gonna breakdown the player killing for ya.

I was witness and was a victim over 4 times to you guys shooting me with your ice chambers and pvp'ing me with magic. It also happened when you guys shot your ice stuff into a house of people who had no involvement.

If there were that many players - Stay in one area. Dont swim across the water and run around the conclave to kill anyone with your glaves.

I waspart of the defenders for a raid down by the Wilds Dock. It was horrible. The first isue was thier main weapon the pigmen.

They will kill an iron armored player in 2-3 hits. The spell spawns 4 I think and paralizes anybody nearby where they spawn. If you are on the ground when these spawn you are screwed.

The antags apear to have crazy speed and jump buffs. Speed + Good Armor + Op Swords + the best magic on the server? No. Just no.

There was atleast one on the attacking side who returned to battle. It took us ages to clear that field and I died a few times after everybody else hsd left.

The potion buffs have to go, the ice trap spell needs to go amd the swords need to go. A single cultist can have maybe two of these things but never all. About three of those cultists have the power I would expect from Ondnach himself.

I see flaws in your logic here. If you play as an antagonist, why are you not antagonizing people? Do you expect, as a being of evil black mist and dark magic, to be embraced with open arms by the people you visit to spread the "message" of Setherian? Don't call the people you should be antagonizing and providing fun conflict roleplay for hypocrites.

I'm so doggamn sick of the "we're peaceful don't attack us" argument the antag gives. You're the antag, why would a demon not get attacked? You have no face. That's like a ringwraith trying to preach equality in Minas Tirith. Other than that, event was aight, terrible timing, an event made mundane because of the past two attacks in one day. Attack in moderation, it stops being fun if it happens all the time. Get a goal and come up with some better preaching styles, the Loki like kneel before us thing is pretty lame when you're coming up with your sentences on the fly. Write a script, attack at peak times, nerf your pigs, don't kill players that have nothing to do with it. I personally watched Falconbyte slay some random dude who had no armor or status on.

You are literally the evil that wants to take down everyone for what appears to be no reason. You speak to the elf children about who you are, and you think its still not in the citizens' right to:

1. Protect them.

2. Try to make sure they don't get brain-washed by the red-crystal tainting machines.

3. Stop them from talking to strangers.

You choose to be an Antagonist, and as such you cannot expect peaceful RP in a large city. I find it perfectly normal for someone to run up to you and say "Scourge! Kill it!" When you've likely killed these men's comrades, families and constantly degrade the land. What type of RP do you expect from the people who are about to fight you? Do you want them to have a long winded conversation with you before hand? So you can just float away a couple of emotes later? Understand all sides, and while I understand as an Antagonist it mustn't be very fun to not get much RP, it makes perfect sense IC'ly for people to come up to you in the middle of a large city and attempt to kill the leading forces of Setherien that are currently trying to brainwash a child to join their cult and aid in destroying Anthos.

I liked the RP of the event leading up, although it was not really sufficient on how the magical tree of ice suddenly came into play with than also when the PvP started, the magic in itself was a spam fest as I watched from afar, I heard the shout people with the "performing" status are only to be attacked but yet continued to attack, though I survived that part when the PvP was turned off things went messy with a few. A example of this would be when I am trying to work on something HeeroZero came right up, I saw him move through a locked door and targeted me with the "Breath of Fire" spell that he has possession of, before this five seconds before I said I was not apart nor had the performing status for this event.

In turn I do not wish to create Drama but as I read other replies it seems after the PvP was turned off and everything calmed down... Some members of the antag where running around attacking people, turning it into some chaos.

Though I find it hard to think this was mostly a miss-communication with things, it could've been but the overall experience I had was horrid after everything spread out. I did enjoy the role play that was their though. More planning in it would make it grand to be apart of and structure.
