Cracker 4570 Share Posted February 25, 2014 So a lot of people on LotC like to compare reputation points because the community loves to compensate and attentionwhore on an online minecraft fantasy roleplaying MMORPG. Within the deep confines of the LotC Doritos Chat, we've discovered the optimal formula for comparing reputations with friends and family. It goes as follows. Step I. Leagues So this first order of the agenda is to take your reputation points as the quantitative number they are. For example, we shall be comparing two rivals Toby Goldman vs TheCrackerJack We tier rep-whoring as follows The Major Leagues- 1000+ Rep aka Godly The Minor Leagues - 500-999 Rep The Little Leagues - under 500 Rep Chump has a reputation of 845, putting him in the Minor Leagues. Not shabby Toby, but you got some catching up to do! Cracker has a reputation of 1298, putting him in the Major Leagues. Step II. Ratios Ratios are pretty straightforward, and until this LotC update, this was the metric utilized to determine who was the Lord of the Craft. Using our example further... Chumpchump has 845 rep for 745 posts putting him at a ratio of 1.13! Wow, that's rare! Cracker has 1298 rep for 1642 posts, putting him at a ratio of at .79! Huh...seems Toby's got the edge here. We tier ratios as follows... .1 or under - Terrible; Most likely you either need to stop shitposting, stop being a newb, or join a clique! .3: -Mediocre/Average; you need to post roughly 3x for anyone to appreciate your post. Don't feel bad because the average is around here! .5 - Acceptable; you may make a dumb post here and there but generally you are a good forum-goer of the community, or just are part of a large clique who backs what you say. Either way, good e-social skills! Maybe you'll be able to FTB with an IRL girl RPer if you keep it up! .75 - Excellent; good **** my ***** 1.0+ - Fabled; You've pulled off what many thought were impossible 146+ - ghonnereabag12; you are ghonnereabag12 Thus, when we total both the league and ratio... Chumpchump is in the Minor Leagues, but he's a fabled player of the crew! Cracker's an excellent rep-farmer in the Major Leagues. Leland22, at 442 reputation for 7,697 posts, is known as "the Squeaking Slugger", the infamous Little League farmer at .05 rep. Come on Mili, we believe in you! The reason we did this over just rep or just ratio is because ghonnreabag would be our Lord of the Craft if it was just ratio (which doesn't reflect consistent quality posts) and rep is flawed as naturally the more you post, the higher your rep can be (Mili has more rep than firestar25, but firestar25 by far used his posts more effectively!) For staff positions who do apps I'm afraid its a bit tricky. Don't worry though, your ego should be satisfied by your shiny tags. For everyone else, get measuring e-peens! Us in the Upper Tier Association of LotC (UTALotC) follow a different rule set in determining who truly is the Lord of the Craft. 1. Post count, the higher the post count the more guarantees that people think your a spammer! Since most people dislike rules you are really heading in the right direction. 2. You must eat kebabs. This is a written fact and indisputable. 3.Rep/Post ratio is simply a way for us supreme players of LotC who will make the best servants when we assassinate the lead dev (we will hire some edgies to do it, dont worry) and promote ourselves to LORD of the CRAFT!
