Mandru's staff is lit with holy light, flames of pure white light encircling the headpiece.

"Cease fire!"

Mandru frowns deeply.

"Dead knights..." He growls. "They have taken Hosper. Bad this is indeed..."

He let's his staff rest on the floor.

"Put everything aside; we MUST rescue Hosper Blackthorn before we do ANYTHING ELSE. Arm up clerics."

The High Cleric ponders where they possibly could have gone...

"Ivanus, do you know where they POSSIBLY could have gone?!"

"I do not, but the best of luck in your searches I must take my leave from this meeting for now."

With that the Itharel turns on his heel, the hunkering mass of gilded plate making its way from the meeting without another word.

Jakir glances over as the portal rips forth, stunned lightly by the sudden event. Jakir quickly connecting to his Patron hoping to be quick enough to stop the dreadknights.. Firing off light as quick as he can. But is it too late, as Hosper is taken he looks around at his fellow clerics, shaking his head slightly with a pant. "Well. Least we got something to do now right?" rubs his face slowly, the deep golden light still shimmering bright "I swear this is the second time something evil comes to our meetings."

Isaac Baelish growls from behind his helmet. The sound echoing around the room as he stands abruptly, his shoulders rising and falling as he recovers after drawing on his connection for power. "I agree, we learnt from the Alrasian shrine that one must place wards anywhere we want to keep safe."

"I struggle to see how a Cleric trained in the art and making suggestions about the very future of our Order fails to take the most basic safety provisions."

Drawing his arming sword carefully, he rolls his shoulders and adds. "I fear that mistake may be intentional. Regardless, Mandru...we shall find him yes?"

*Eledyr gazes at where the portal was but a moment ago, still trembling from the effort he looks at the other clerics in the room and speaks*

Mandru is right, we need to cease this meeting for now and go out to find Hosper! I suggest that we spread out and find this evil. However once someone manages to find Hosper do not try to save him by yourself. You have all seen what this evil is capable off.
Together we stand a chance.
Clerics let's do what we were meant to do all this time, protect this world from the evil and unholy things.

Aegor draws his blade, standing, and sliding his helmet on, "Indeed, this meeting shall have to wait. Let us save our brother."

Under one of the tables sits Hobb Grokk the small mutated gobbo, for most of the meeting he has been biting off his toe nails and eating them, and also been carefully studying his snot. It is only when the portal opens, and the dread knights storm inn that he realises that there are actually people inn the room and that there seems to have been some gathering of people in fancy robes and funny looking armor.

As the clerics are momentarily stunned by the sudden arrival of evil, he starts to crawl on his knees and hides in the corner of the room, furthest away from the clerics, which are now all rallying themselves and drawing their weapons at enemies long gone. Hobb is just about to cry when he remembers that he still has a few toe nails left to bite, and there is still some ear wax left to apply to his eyes. He therefor puts on a great big smile, and continues to eat on his toe nails.

Surprised by the sudden events, Keaton draws his sword, standing solemn as the Clerics find themselves helpless to save Hosper. As his fellows raise to arms he looks to Jakir.

"They are right, my friend. We must band together to save him, it is our safest chance. It seems we will be raising arms soon. I only hope we are not too late."

Silently, he stares towards the red diamond imprint.

[[same deal as Mandru, on my mobile, so. Messy post, but ah well.]]

Haruki regards the happenings with a distinct calm, expression solemn as Hosper is taken. As the others speak, panic, or spur into action the healer would simply stand and begin making his exit, following soon after Ivanus. The man would fail to regard any of his kin, seeming suddenly preoccupied with his thoughts.

"Oh dear..." he would utter as he exits.

Merely moments after the daring kidnapping a cloaked figure makes her way into the room, quietly shutting the door behind her. Leaning against the nearby wall she wordlessly examines the panicked and excited faces of the assembled clerics, letting out a faint sigh. Her red eyes flash slightly as she examines the residual traces of dark and unholy magic. Folding her arms together she acknowledged Haruki as he passed by her with a nod, her face obscured by an unnaturally dark hood. As the door creaks shut once more she muttered softly.

"Well, this is troubling."

Mandru was on his way to exit as he notices the cloaked female.

He narrows his eyes.

"Who are you?" He asks the cloaked figure cautiously, his staff's gemstone beginning to glow with pure holy light out of suspicion.

Rose smiles slightly behind her hood, shaking her head. "You can put the staff down boy, it won't do you any good. I shouldn't be surprised the order doesn't remember me though, Hosper was one of the few who could vouch for me."

In response she pulls her left hand out of her robe, its wrist and fingers gloved in mage-gold chains and rings. Tapping two of her fingers together she summons up a silver-white light that seems to flow and drip like molten wax. "See, no need for alarm."

The light summoned to Mandru's staff begins to disperse.

"Aaaahhh... I see madam.

I am the High Cleric Mandru VonSchlichten, manager off the clerical order under the Itharel." The aging man replies.

"Yet you have not answered my question; who are you?"
