You should try motivating players to come back to your teamspeak before wasting your energy and time on adding new features that not many will take advantage of.

 

If everyone and their cat has their own TS, I do wonder. How much does it cost to own a server?

It's a shame you didn't acknowledge your bad attitude. This thread /is/ trying to motivate players to come back to the TS and what are these new features you're mentioning? Gamevox? That's irrelevant right now, we're talking about TS!

I think it's a good idea, specially to bring people back together. The only reason I'm never on LOTC TS is because I thought it was canceled because everyone bought their own new TS. I would definitely come back to the main TeamSpeak server if this does get implemented.

If this was to be done a few changes would need to be made:

 

1) Give nation leaders ultimate power within their channels. Allow them to set the rules for their sub channels, basically create their own small TS within a larger one.

 

2) GMs have to follow the same rules on TS as everyone else and have no additional powers in non GM channels. Only allow them to move in, ect if the channel leaders allow it.

I say bring it. What some arent thinking of, is that the TS was useful for helping new players with their applications, along with the asking of information related to the server. I think bringing it back would be a good idea, so that way when someone asks if we have a TS, we can say yes and boom, instant help.

Would account validation mean not having to do the security check level of 27? Because it is the importing of a TS account onto a mobile device where the security checks fall over for me. Ergo I can't use TS on my phone anymore, which I would really like to. So if this can replace the improved security rating then I am totally +1
