Are we just going to redo Aegis at this point? Undead vs. Ascended, but with new people and a new Aengul? If so, I hope it's changed up at least in some way.

 

There's no protagonist. The Ascended exist as they have since late Anthos but they don't have superspecialawesome anti-undead plugin powers this time.

Are we going to get an explanation on how he got locked up in there, didn't the nether heros stomp him? how'd he get from a crumbled nether/aegis to a prison cell in an abandoned underground city? (Nice trailer btw it was an amazing way to introduce Iblees back to the community)

 

the nether heroes threw the axe into the sacrificial pit rather than the nexus of the nether then iblees proceeded to wipe out all of aegis because we fucked up and gave him the opening.
