The Order of Alchemists

 

An order of all known and respected alchemists in the realm. Any and all alchemists are added to the Order if they are deemed worthy, in other words, if they have the skill and knowledge to do alchemy. It is simply a way to acknoledge the alchemists, but this also means that random potion makers and sellers that walk the streets and call themselves alchemists without being on the list, are most likely fakes or unknown alchemists.

 

Norms of the Order:

• The order is not afiliated with any nation.
• No member speaks or does any action for the order.
• The order does not care for the condition of any of it's member.

The Order is simply a way to show the realm the true alchemists walking around, how the alchemists behave with the realm is their own doing. Several alchemists may be enemies, may be associated with designated nations, may be evil and may be good. The members are not controlled by any autorithy in the order, nor can anyone in the order command them to do anything. Every guideline is a guideline, and not enforced. The only rule is:

 

"You will only be made part of the Order if an alchemist considered Expert or Master testifies to the new alchemist's skill, or if you were trained by one considered a Mentor alchemist."

 

There are 4 Ranks:

• Alchemist - A fully autonomous alchemist, can already create concoctions, even if most are weak.
• Mentor Alchemist - An alchemist which is considered good enough to teach others.
• Expert Alchemist - An alchemist which has starting study of advanced alchemy, and can create greater potions.
• Master Alchemist - An alchemist that has made alchemy his life, and keeps the study. He can create greater potions almost with ease, and go beyond them.

While this Order has been started by Daniel Nodal, all Master and Expert Alchemists may add their own student's names, and the names of other alchemists to the list. If an alchemist which is not in the list wishes to make himself known, simply speak to one of the Experts or Master alchemists. If you want your name removed, no problem, one of the experts or masters can change the name, but it will continue in the list.

Avgust invites the Order of Alchemists to use his Wayward Workshop for his experiments or at least send someone over.

The list has been updated, though with very few names. Only two new alchemists, students of Daniel Nodal were added.

Isabella cringes, hard. She sends a quick note to Nienna detailing what she's seen in case Nienna wasn't aware, as well as thanking her for not adding her to the list yet if she had known, and asking that she please keep it that way. Less than fond memories of being asked to teach people how to 'blow things up' with potions flood back as she finds a spot a safe distance from the poster to exist, grabbing a drink from the monk tavern with which to distract herself. She wonders briefly if Daniel even knows she's an alchemist, but can't recall. She drowns these thoughts in her drink and pities herself.

Three ales in, she decides a hearty threat of physical violence would get her name off such a list if it had to. Besides, Daniel was a reasonable guy as far as she knew... Satisfied, she waddles home.

Nathaniel Bloodwell notices the board of the Alchemist's Guild. He's been wanting to try his hand at alchemy, but has never really had the chance before he got to Vanderfell. He scribbles a note requesting an alchemy teacher to contact him, as he wishes to learn the alchemical arts. "Hope this works."

Primrose chuckles to herself reading the note as she turns to walk back to her lab and continues her work to learn alchemy the correct way, through years of study and experimentation. 

 

(( How do you contact this guild it doesn't say where you are or anything, birds can't just find anyone, you have to find the person or at least know where that person is before your bird can find the person.))
