Alyice stands at Godfrey's side, not knowing if the take of his King and Cousin truly had moved him, she does not speak much to him at the time of war against the Undead, though she helps spread reassuring words along the streets of Petrus.

Rom lowers his head, praying to the Creator.

He turns his head, interuppted by Ari, who would have to have been in the human lands to get the notice,

"Have you edgy flippers no respect for the dead? No wonder it's mostly Elves being converted to Undead, go to feckin' pray for your sins, because what you just did is an abomidible act of true disrespect out of racial difference, which you claim us humans 'do to you', si? Do not speak of which you do not understand, elf. In nome di dio smettere di essere un fanatico irrispettoso stupida del proprio dolore!"

He exclaims in Illatian, before turning away from the woman's general direction, and resuming prayer.

The High Pontiff sits quiety in his chambers, discussing matters of faith and state with Brother Hectorius of Aedin and the notorious Humbert "de Poissy" of Bar, when a courier brings forth the news.

"A parable is to be found in these events, no doubt. These usurpers ridded the realm of a unified Oren, and thus the armies of the Undead found a means to rise again, as these countless petty kingdoms could not band together to quell the taint. Who can cheer for Renatus yet, seeing a state flounder with so little grace, a prostituted nation that proved the folly of senseless ambitions. May God extend to them a font of mercy despite their worldly sin, however, for to die against the taint, whether in farce or fidelity, is a goodly act, and mayhaps they find wisdom and grace in the Skies above and atone for their error...if they did pass. Their nature considered, they may still prowabout, consorting with the Denier himself over dying with honors they lacked in life."

Franz reads over the piece of paper and pauses for a brief moment. "How can this be?.." he skims over it once more before giving a slow nod. "So be it." He tosses the piece of paper in the fire and begins going through and burning all other documents he had received from the short lived kingdom.
