The Great Carrot

Background: So basically I had a character in what I believe was Asulon, in which fought for a carrot. I made a small order that fought to take over potato fields and replace them with carrots related to the "Great Carrot". We killed people who didn't support our cause, which lead to the eventual naming of my group to be heretics and we were eliminated by the Lions. I made a new character which I play now, who had the "Great Carrot" passed down to him, which I had blessed by a druid to essentially make the carrot never grow old. So the Great Carrot is technically immortal. My current character worships The Great Carrot and even believes that it is some kind of god and contains special powers, such as the ability to heal. Of course the problem with this is, that there is no lore to support that so I can't actually do anything with my carrot worshiping.

My idea: So essentially I would like to implement some kind of magic and deity lore to the server based around the Great Carrot. I have a couple people who follow my religion and I think it would make for some very interesting rp to have an actual deity with some possible basic magic.

Deity: Currently, followers of The Carrot believe that The Great Carrot is a god that tells my character what to do. Sacrifices are made in the name of this fake deity. I would like a real deity that tells followers what to do based around some basic testaments, demands sacrifices (such as potato farmers), demands carrot planting, and can grant small powers to those that do so. Similar to the aspects, you perform tasks for the deity, and the deity rewards you by granting powers to you.

Magic: So the magic I was thinking would be fairly basic. Probably deity magic.

Spawning carrots into the ground

Turning other plants into carrots

Speaking to "The Golden Carrot"

Guiding light to other carrots

Changing skin pigment orange

Increased range of sight (eating carrots irl lead to better vision)

Basic healing, maybe being able to heal small cuts or low degree burns, ease pain, etc.

I really think this would create some fun rp without having any negative impact! What do you guys think?

I would like to clarify that the magic bit of this lore isn't really that important. I am really more interested in adding a proper Carrot Deity than I am the magic behind it. I think the carrot deity is quite different from the aspects due to the aspects generally not condoning violence and are related to all things nature. Whereas the Carrot God would only relate to the topic of carrots, and would ask different things from its followers. Rather than protecting and fostering nature, members would be finding sacrifices and spreading the word of a carrot. Member's whole life philosophy would be based on the say of a carrot. Carrot followers would fall on their own sword before harming a carrot.

I accept this... so much.. actually this would be something a little less serious then most ideas but it would make the server a lot more interesting.

Yeah, your magic mostly sounds like it falls under druidism. Talk to the druids and see about becoming a dedicant, but be aware that a character that zealous has to play their cards carefully if they actually want to be a druid.

Recently partook of this carrot religion and I couldn't help but have a good time. The RP is serious and funny at the same time. I think it can be a great addition. +1
