A man cloaked in golden robes hears of this being sent out, his hands clenching.

"Akovians were far better than I once thought."

Uldar would nod, moving with due haste to gather the rest of the Council in order to discuss the matter.

"They win only a couple of street skirmishes and already they believe they have won this war. Who shall it be that will remind them of the amount of skirmishes they've lost within the last few saints weeks?"

*Captain Volker sits among the council members of Petrus and leaders in the Mardonic League. He takes a final reading of the proposed appeals from Akovia before speaking . . .

"Perhaps this might work on the foolish and the short sighted. Perhaps presenting yourself in this manner will benefit you by striping your opposition of some soldiers. The simple gesture of being the first to offer peace is quite a powerful one indeed, giving yourself some sort of legitimacy in this as being the one to end it mercifully. Get real. If any were to accept these 'appeals' they would truly be beyond the measure of stupid. These empty words will hardly sway any loyal or intelligent members of the Mardonic League or otherwise. This is a ruse disguised as a call for peace that he has no actual intention of fulfilling for very long, just enough time to suit his desires.

He shirks responsibility for even a claimed small minority that engrienvenced the Dwarves and said he would punish them if he had been told. And yet they still run free and yet they still commit banditry with even better gear than before. He certainly knows about the situation now as he made direct reference to it in his appeal but alas nothing; Empty words.

And to the Orks, he denies the holding of a precious relic and has made no visible efforts to return it, only more removal of responsibility of his own shoulders. Making note that perhaps the Orcs even owe Akovia for helping them slay Kha beasts. Yet more empty words to de-escalate justified conflict.

The final appeals are literal nonsense with no other intent but to inspire anger. It is more than likely that Akovia and its leadership wouldn't give two shites about the faith if they had not one of their own running it; Sainting their own people, funneling countless minas in their pockets and supporting their interests. The boldness to even imply he has value or right to rule over a Horen. And finally perhaps the least empty of all words in this appeal, one can almost feel the Akovian Kings emotion as he slanders righteous cause and noble blood. At least there's that."

*Volker rolls his eyes before tossing the document to the center of the table, taking a seat.

Augustus hears of Captain Volker claiming to be in a meeting with the leaders of the Mardonic League and begins to chuckle, wondering how he is achieving such when the other two leaders of the League are loyal Canonists.

Dunrid puts on his mask and draws his blade. He shifts back into the shadows. He speaks slowly, "Ya fight 'bout d'ese conflicts and employ da undead. I saw four mercenaries workin' for Akovia fightin' for a necromanca'."

"... So, where is tha offah ov peace? Wot imbecile 'finks 'e can convince tha' Dwarves tu cease foire, all tha' whoile promisin' death n' destruction to our brethren of our treaty? Too much dwarven blood 'as been spilled alreadeh, it would be dis'onourable tu let such a loss be in vain.

Centuries ov Raevirian incest serves nae' place in dis world, dey are scum and should be treated as such. Nae' more shall we allow dis army ov bandits n' rogues tu enter our 'olds, n' slaughteh our people. Pull dem apart, limb from limb, n' feed em tu tha battle boars, eh fate wortheh ov their koind", Balek concludes.

"How's that working out for you, friend?" Says Ser Paul, shaking his head.

Franz stands on an overhang on Woldzmir looking across the the farm lands towards Montfort. The cold bites at his face in unison to the wind which lashes out causing his cape to wave backwards and pull on his neck. He mutters the words out as the wind carries them onward, "The days are numbered.. for either them.. or us.." his brown eyes squint as he looks against the wind and steps down from the ledge, walking back inward into the heart of Woldzmir.

A young Knight, slides his gauntlet'd fingers slowly over a tiny stone urn.

"The Akovian King has offered a phenomenally forgiving rationale to both the Dwarves and the Orcs, yet they are blinded by some sort of self-induced rage. I can only wonder why the Pagan races are so eager to lick blood of their teeth, and throw their kinsman's lives away.

And while they cry and scream of the Raevir's historical slaughter of their people, I find their alliance to the first genocidal human King in decades to be of the utmost hypocrisy. Especially when you consider that Akovia's population is not by any means even a third Raevir."

The Knight turns to his left, nodding to Prince Otto Rovin, who only nods back.

"Perhaps you truly are the last great Rovin, my friend."
