Embermoor had gotten cocky. They believed they had to means to shake the morale of the elves. Little did they know they invoked the ire of every good nation of Athera.

The Ivory Order of Leyulin showed up to fight in numbers greater than any elven force had ever shown up to a battle before, but sadly, the Uruk had demolished the enemy before the elves got a chance to fight.

Anticlimatic as the battle was, the elves return to Leyulin in high spirits as Chancellor Artimec Camoryn delivers a speech.

"To those dissapointed that we hardly saw action today, do not despair. For soon we will find the chance to embed our arrows in their necks, and our swords in their hearts. The offensive campaign on Embermoor begins now!"

Chants ring across the city of Laureh'lin.

Glory to Leyulin. Glory to Ivory.

A message is sent to the leaders of the cult on the wings of a snowy white owl.

You started this war. Now it ends in your blood.

Gwendolyn cackles madly at the note and hears rabble about the speech from the walls, walking away. "H-hey get this! They think they bested /us/! By killing /ghouls/. ZOMBIES. HA!"

Gwen proceeds to roll around, delightedly in her bed at Embermoor, than fall sonto the floor, laughing hysterically.

Aazar the Defiled's crooked yellow teeth break into a grin, his breath exiting his skeletal form, "T- they believe... that they can destroy my Seers..." The manipulative being murmurs with amusement, "My Seers will have their 'revenge' indeed upon these Elves and Descendant kin... s- slowly but surely," the being inhales, and exhales again, odd green spittle flying from it's mouth. "T- the age of the snake is now past, the age of the Viper shall be next!" It exclaims shrilly, lowering itself back onto its bottom, and beginning to calm itself with negative thoughts, The First Seer's ire was awakened.

[[Tbh I've not written for this Acerbus in awhile, so if he seems immensely nuts/crazy he's intended to be dark toned, but with excitement for the coming fight. Again, sorry if the writing is edgy or some sh*t. ]]

Isabella smirks, feet kicked up on her desk. She just assumes Art knows she'll be there when there's cultists to cut down.

Zar'roc jams one end of his twinblade into the grass, looking up into the sky and roaring loud enough for all of Leyulin to hear.
"
EHN DAH NAYME UF DAH ZPIRUTZ! EHN DAH NAYME UF KRUG!!"

In a nearby tree Cheza watches the elven troops, bow ready with an arrow notched into place. Her mind however is uneasy and she tries to figure out what her target is. Finally the shouting of battle draws her attention as the uruks begin to clash with the ghouls. Her eyes stare in amazement from beneath her hood, allowing her arms to relax as she sees each ghoul fall, not even paying attention to the injuries or fatalities of the uruks.

Once the army retreats to Leyulin she follows, staying outside the wall as her ears twitch. Listening to the clanking of armor and the happy chatter of the soldiers. A blank expression is on the elf's face as she listens to Art's speech before she breaks into a mad dash for home. She must tell Aislinn.

Alakagh sighed as the orcs hoarded all of the kills. "The uruks could've left some for us to kill."
