The snow fell heavily within the great dwarven mountains as a great flock of ravens flew from the gate of the Grand Kingdom. Within the talons of each is a tightly rolled scroll bearing the seal of the Grand King. Zahrer would sit quietly on the throne, waiting for the replies.

"To the leaders of the nations of Athera,

I reach out to you now to bridge the gap that has grown between us. This war has weighed heavily on my mind and grown tiresome in practice. Neither side has taken a winning stance for has either side pushed a true offensive. And I believe, in fact, that our intended message has gotten across. The Balance must be upheld and a drawn out war solves nothing. It is for this reason that I call the leaders of all nations to see reason now. In a few stone days time, your presence is expected in the capital of Kal'Karaad to discuss a final peace. Until then it is asked that a ceasefire take place in order to lessen the tension prior to the conference. It is my hope that you all see reason, and my fear that you do not."

((Meeting to be held Friday the 23rd at 7est. If another time is preferable feel free to suggest it.))

Another brief note is sent out after several, worrying replies.

"The meeting will now be held in the Cloud Temple library's meeting room."

[[ If I wouldn't have found out about this in-character feel free to disregard my post ]]

'Tom' hearing news of the nations meetings, sends a missive to the Grand King of the Dwarves:

Most humble and Prestigious Grand King,

I write to you with concern for the meeting that you have created with the nation leaders of this land- for a city full of men of warring factions spells nothing but trouble.

However- I offer you this.

The Company of the Wolf would gladly provide neutral and unbiased security at the location of this meeting for a price that can be discussed among us.

If you so wish to decline this offer, no furtuer word from you is needed.

From,

'Tom' - Owner and Princep of the Company of the Wolf

High General Chase Weischoff of the State of Rennison reads it over. "Suspicious they would host it in their own city, but I'd hope little hostility would come to our out-of-the-way state. It's worth attending, I suppose...

A letter is sent by messenger, who is accompanied by two guards, to the Dwarven Capital. They deliver the letter, and then quickly depart. The letter would read:

Grand King Irongrinder,

On behalf of the King of Akovia and her allies, a delegation shall be attending these peace talks within the coming months.

Signed,

Vasili Vanir, Lord Chancellor of the Kingdom of Akovia
