“Harath oz Narvak”

All Brothers and Sisters of Clan Grandaxe are Encouraged to Traverse to the North, to Manifest their own Destinies

It is understandable that you may indeed read this lamentation and say to yourself, “Who t’e blaudeh feck is t’is idjut?!” and I do not dare confront that which you may probe. Instead, I wish for you to take a moment out of your day and pity a fellow, humbled Mountain Dwarf whose living conditions are so sub-par with that of any other that he is subjected to sleeping outside of his home in accordance to never getting keys. To fully sympathize with my despondency, know that I am Gundin Robekkah Grandaxe, once a Lumberjack for Yemekar’s Pick in Kal’Ithrun-- or, maybe Azgoth. I cannot entirely recall. Anyhow, I worked tirelessly for Kjellos Stormhammer (if that was even his name, further defining my hazy memory) and got no pay. Later in the decades, specifically during the Fringe War, I bled beyond comparison beside Vaerus Irongut and received little to no recognition for my hand in the doggage against the Orenian forces of Heinrik Carrion. Even now I’ve gotten no pay for my Stone Weeks in the Legion. But I may only speak testimony for my story. There are many others before and after myself. Namely my kinsmen are included.

Grandaxes, Frostbeards, and other Mountain Dwarven men and women have been subject to the governmental corruption found in the Lord’s Council and beyond.. Albeit, the Grand King is not the issue right now. The Lords and their petty, disgusting, and dishonorable Council named our new Lord, declared after a singular meeting. In this event, Lori Oathcast disgracefully hired several mercenaries to which they were tasked with our removal. I myself was banished from our Grand Kingdom for voicing my opinions on the idea of an Elven Queen, and my beloved cousin Jorik was as well for merely seeking improvements of the commonwealth. No longer will our Grandaxe kin, and any to follow us, be put under the boots of corrupt governmental officials. Instead of standing idle to this oppression and betrayal, we move north. And, it is in this moment that we entreat you, the commonfolk of Urguan to follow us towards the wintery hold of Kal’Bogrin.

We leave the Capital.

Verthaik Frostbeard nods with a joyous smile as he hears the news and calls together his Frostbeard kin to join the Grandaxes on their exodus, speaking them

Dunrid stares at his brothers leaving the city. He approaches Fili and Fimlin and speaks to them. "You all remain 'part of da bloodeh nation. You are all legionnaires an' ya shall 'old ya ranks. Nothin' will change as ya remain 'part of da nation. Narvak oz Urugan. None shall bloodeh change dat."
