To Play A Human

Well, I've been on the server a while, and I figured it was about time I tried out playing a human.

 

What I'm looking for is a human family or a niche to join. I'd be playing a female character, but other than that I have no real specifications for her. I can handle my own skin and whatnot.

 

Bear in mind I have zero experience with human lore other than skimming over the pinned topics in the several subforums.

I have little preference, although most likely not a guard role. I might be interested in joining up with the Church, but besides that, I have no clue.

The mildest variant I would offer you is to become a Stafyr, if you do not wish to be too much into military. If you would want a noble family of course.

You could always play Publius' sister or something along those lines. The Bracchus family in lore is huge, but scattered after an attack that happened about a decade ago. I personally do a lot of RP with citizenry and with the vassals of the kingdom, especially the wood elves, if you're interested.

 

Largely, human RP is largely about Oren, where we wish to see it go, how we feel about what is happening, stuff like that. There's lots of opportunity to do what you wish, so long as you are well enough mannered and the rest.

 

Humanity is all about politics. It's in the hearts and minds of everyone. Hopefully, with the wars slowing down and a wave of reforms on the horizon, things are going to get super interesting in the near future. Just PM if you need any in depth info.

I would advise joining a human family, as a female this is fairly easy to do through marriage. Church is good but the rhetoric and lore base is vast and intimidating. The 2nd Akovian provides active quality military rp as well. Petrus also has a lively marketplace so merchant rp is always viable.

I would find an active human family. Whether or not you want it to be a noble family is up to you. You might also pick and choose among the various human cultures. The most prominent and well grounded ones are the Auvergne, Hansetian, Raevir, Ilatian, and Heartlander.

You could play the sister of Caspar de Gueux, the 1-man family already is in a good position and has a lot of RP opportunities at our disposal.
