Changes To Resource Island.

Today I bring news regarding that of resource island, formally famous for commonly looking bloody awful and players breaking rules by digging where they shouldn't be. This morning/afternoon/evening myself, 501 and stormclank worked on restoring the resource island to its former, if not better, state and also re-establishing the regions regarding it.

 

What does this mean for you? Well, due to a certain few people we soon figured out allowing full blown access to every part of resource island only resulted badly. In turn we've responded by using regions to only allow you to destroy blocks within either pit or the tree farm, allowing you the same benefits as before whilst not harming the surrounding area.

 

Atop of that I've also used this opportunity to re-design the layout of the once chaotic pits into slightly more easier to understand and use format. Now the materials are clearly placed upon the surface and continue all the way down until the bottom layer within such a pattern. Not only this, but the setup has disregarded the need for admin rollback and should allow us to more easily keep the pits refilled and able to be used.

Forest Pit -  Contains; Gravel, Clay, Dirt, Coarse dirt and Soulsand.

 

 

Desert Pit - Contains; Sand, Red sandstone, Hardened Clay,  Stained Clay.

 

 

Tree Farm - Contains; Trees.

If you ask around icly lots of people have cactus growing. Myself included.
