Definition of the Haelun'or citizen.
The council will understand that a Citizen (linir) of Haelun'or will be those who:

 

- Are proven pure-blooded Mali'aheral
 

- Possess a home (lin) within Haelun'or or its governed colonies or share one with exclusively other pure-blooded Mali'aheral
 

- Have vowed themselves supporters of the High Elf ideal (maehr'sae hiylu'ehya) and promise to uphold its customs.
 

- Have at least one (oem) book of merit published in the Haelun'or library tareman'niut after acquiring their home.
 

- Have shown an elementary understanding of the Elven Tongue (san'Mali) and are able to speak basic greetings and commonly used phrases.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill: I fought for Haelun'or as El Sillumiran in Athera not long after the split. I have been proven various times. Ikur tested me in Athera.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or: Born in Malinor, Live in Annil'Sul and Haelunor my whole life. I have always been pure under the Silver Law and under Orenic Rule. Is it a question why I would want to stay true to my heritage?

What is your personal vision for our blessed race: I don't really have one llir. I simply go with the flow. I do feel however that they key will be in independace again, if that is possible, we may not know.

'averir ito nae'leh' I've used it often. It is what I used a lot as a young Mali. It was one of the first sentences I ever learned and in a way it kind of symbolises freedom. In the old days a child could get lost without the fear of being hunted down. A certain nostalgia.

A book on Druidism, I learned quite a bit in my travels. Their pagan gods fascinated me

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the roads from The Cloud Temple together: During my travels, I have come to understand that unknown Mali'aheral, especially ones in such an obviously suspicious position, to be approached with caution, if at all. However, I also understand that when among lesser races, there may be compromises made to preserve the life of the Mali'aheral. As such, I would then not seek to confront them directly, but if I were to see them within Haelun'or, I would indicate this information to the proper authorities, for they may require cleansing.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill: My physical traits (such as my blonde hair, pale skin, elongated ears and green eyes) prove that I am such. My bloodline - the Fi’talareh family- while lesser known, is also of pure blood and related to several major families according to the third work of the previous Okarir’tayna.

 

Furthermore, I am mentally pure due to my dedication to our ideals, which have seen me lead our kind throughout one of their darkness times and take the mantle of Maheral - which is the leader of our kind by example.

 

Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or: Because I have lived in this city for the past six decades.

 

What is your personal vision for our blessed race: I wish for our race to remember its history and to be able to not make the same mistakes as it has in the past. For those mistakes are many, and it is painful to see our kind go through many a tribulation without releasing them.

 

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you: The maehr’sae hiylun’ehya is a singular rule which defines our our kind and in a way, the majority of our plane of existence. All creatures and races strive for health and progression, though our kind is the only one which acknowledges that is the truth.

 

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: I take the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya to heart, for there is no other saying in Elven that compares to such for the reasons outlined above.

 

What is the subject of the first book you will submit to the college (If you have already submitted a book, please inform the council and provide us with its name): I already have submitted two books to the Eternal College. The first was on the tribulations of our people during the genocide of our kind by the Wood Elves and the events that followed. I intended it to be both a recount and to provide lessons for our kind as to how to go about such matters should they happen again. The second was a book I had written during my tenure as Maheral, which regarded the conduct of the Sillumiran during our stay in the Aldersberg Citadel. I believe it still can be used in the modern era to an extent to educate our Sillumiran.

 

Moreover, should the Eternal College need it due to our current situation, I can donates approximately ten copies of books from within my collection should the college provide me with the means to do so.

 

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the roads from The Cloud Temple together: I, of course, would be suspicious of the arrangement, however owing due to the violence and injury that such beings could inflict, I believe it would be wisest to avoid them.
