A Galaxy Divided

“Peace is a lie…”

The Galaxy is in tatters. On the verge of an age of peace and prosperity, the relaxing Republic is forced into war. Still reeling from the wars of Revan and Malak, and later Malak alone as well as upstart Sith, the Republic had thought itself secure, but too late…

Nothing could compare to what was next. Not the Star Forge, not entire planets scraped bare of life, nor Sith with power so great they near annihilated the Jedi. These things were all precursors to the truth. In the edges of charged space, the Sith Empire, one of last survivors of the end of the true Sith Empire has revealed his hand. His Reconstituted Sith Empire lays waste to Republic worlds.

Newly trained Jedi are put to the test against masters of the dark side. Republic troopers face off against heavily armed and disciplined soldiers with vast machines of war to support them. While the Republic withered, the Sith had been gathering their strength, and now they would have their revenge…

Under new Management

Tatooine~

http://imgur.com/epp9FbM

A new ruler has come to over look operations done on the desolate world of Tatooine, due to recently low tithes from the previous Commander of Tatooine a sith apprentice has been sent to investigate and remove the possible 'corruption' in the Sith's ranks and the mission was a complete success-The Sith named Aayla gained information over a course of weeks ruthlessly but patiently cutting down and removing the commanders that were at fault for being weak and not listening to the emperor. As a result for removing the corrupted from power she was given stewardship over the planet itself and its well being.

Aayla's first action would be to make Mos Eisley the base of her operations, setting up a decently sized perimeter of territory in the center of town and making that her base, troop patrols increase and crack down on the regular crimes around the city while her base is properly constructed with security around it growing. On the side she had ordered and enacted a policy to increasing Mos Eisley's industry and infrastructure. Creating Moisture farms was one of the priorities while also requesting as much water from some of the other worlds ran by sith lords and Moffs with the purpose of a transformation of the area around Mos Eisley, going to erect a machine which would slowly make the area around Mos Eisley more habitable, fauna also being steadily introduced to the area to try and help the process along. Criminal activity is cracked down upon while progress is made to flush out any and most corruption in the major corporations and moves to replace them with loyal subjects of the empire.

(Aayla: http://imgur.com/J4piplP )

~Summary of new ruler actions~

(wasnt sure if I had control over the other cities but if I did this goes across all of them as well)

- New Rule is established over Mos Eisley and plans to strengthen control over it and the remaining cities are planned for the future

~ A industry and infrastructure policy is enacted and put into work, Steadily making Mos Eisley capable of gaining a booming economy.

~ Terraforming plans are created and soon acted upon as moisture farms are made to gather water, water is requested from the Moffs and other Sith rulers to make the area around Mos Eisley and Mos Eisley itself much more green and habitable.

~ Trooper patrols of different kind's move about Mos Eisley cracking down on the criminal organizations in the city and taking the leaders of the more resistance corporations down and putting loyal subjects of the empire in their place to ensure complete loyalty happens.

~ A proper capital is situated and created for Aayla in the center of Mos Eisley, a large one with heavy security and everything needed to make her rule relatively comfortable.

Dantooine

Isolation an Humiliation

Lord Tull, recently assigned as the Overseer of Dantooine sits in the capital alone in his chambers. Most would think being the Overseer of an entire Planet would be a promotion, but not here, not in this isolated backwater. A rival had out played him, most mistakes would cause death but no instead they sought to humiliate him by putting him in charge of a worthless backwater. But they continue to make the same misjudgment. He would prove no matter what his rivals force on him he could always come back. He would prove it, starting here.

Lord Tull awakens from his meditation before exiting to the main meeting hall where he is greeted by a young Lieutenant Maer, short blonde hair, green eyes. When he had first met her he assumed her to be another simple overzealous and over confident stiff from the academy but she followed his command with precision and dignity, she had earned his respect and very often takes her opinion into account.

"How many men do we have Lieutenant?" Lord Tull asked, she turned to him in an attentive stance "My Lord, we have 60,000 men ready for command my Lord. All awaiting orders."

Lord Tull turns to the Holo-Table as he would manipulate the command console as several highlighted areas would come to view "This planet has more use then most give it credit for..According to local records the lands are perfect for farming, Large Farming Efforts. Many of the Locals have given in to the reign of the Empire, but the indigenous races either flee or fight us at every turn...I want you to deploy the bulk of our men to the capture of these people. We will need a slave force to work the fields. The Locals will have full ownership of their lands and access to our supply of slaves, Provided they meet their quotas. Can you organize this?"

She offers a full salute "I will Organize and Command these orders to the letter My Lord, I personally will oversee the preparations."

ACTIONS

1. Roughly 8,000 Troops are stationed at the Capital City on Dantooine.

2. The Remaining 52,000 Troops are prepared and organized for a massive subjugation effort of the planet.

3. Coordination between the local Estates, Citizenry, and Imperial Logistics begin to fund and organize massive farming projects across the vast plains and farmlands.

4. Lord Tull himself along with a small escort travel to the abandoned and desolated ruins of the old Jedi Temple to study the ruins for anything of interest, as well as the ruins predating the Temple.

Malitius stalked the throne room of the Onderon Palace. Since taking this world, he had systematically hunted down the remaining members of Freedon Nadd’s lineage, securing the world for himself. Imperial Troopers were deployed in Kill-Teams through the districts of Iziz, the massive capital and only city of Onderon. With a malicious grin, Malitius recalled cutting down the Jedi sent to guard the planet, the skin bleeding red as the pitiful defenses of the planet were wiped out by his own ships. It had been a slaughter, and a few of the Jedi had even posed a threat. As the Sith recalled his fond memories of the battle, an officer would approach, his Commodore Arctilus.

“My Lord, the remaining Lords of Onderon have been eliminated, trade routes have been opened between vessels, and Imperial forces have begun burning out the jungles around Iziz and silencing the Beast Riders. Have you further commands?”

Malitius liked Arctilus, never questioning, unwavering, and effecient. With a nod, the Sith spoke with a deep voice “Yes. Commodore, I wish to order fleet elements to assist in patrols throughout the Inner Rim. Order all ships to engage neutral and Republic vessels at will, and force conscript the survivors. The looted supply shall be returned to Onderon.”

With a brisk salute, the Commodore began to patch orders through to his subordinates.

-Rioters in Onderon are publicly killed by Imperial Kill-Teams

-A Sith Academy is established within Iziz

-Remaining Onderon soldiers are conscripted into the Imperial Army, and Onderon naval units are likewise conscripted, with native Onderonians dispensed through the fleet.

-Imperial forces, besides Malitius’ own, within the Inner Rim are ordered to protect Imperial trade routes

-A standard tithe is sent to the Dark Council

"Mando'ad draar digu"

5637fa7ca5f6a45ae0c7f6c28410f39e.png

Jhes Bralor paces back and forth in his command tent, a single wood table sits in the center with a small holo map, Jhes' black and gold T-shaped helmet, and his lunch atop of it. Ever since the Mandalorian Wars and the slow fall from crusaders to pirates, Clan Bralor has decayed. Now, with Jhes leading the clan it has seen a new light. A chance at vengeance. Staying on a nameless moon while they prepare.

"Vestay!" He calls outside his tent to his daughter, and second-in-command. The woman walks inside adorned in dark green beskar'gam, with her helmet held under his arm "Aye buir?"

Jhes looks to her, flicking his hand at her helmet "Get your buy'ce on, pack your things. Pass my words around the aliit." Vestay nods, the young woman's excitement barely contained as she goes to prepare.

The camp is cleared within the day. The two starships, two Gage-class transports (Each with a Mandalorian insignia painted roughly on them). The clan is moved onto the ships within the next six hours, and they are ready to fly by the end of the second day, which they do of course. A month later, after the Mandalorian clan had picked off a few freighters in the farther reachs of the outer rim, Jhes Bralor speaks to his daughter "Send a message the Sith Empire, have a contract made and that we will fight for them. Until we hear back, we will continue raiding these various moons and picking off the few captians who brave these reachs."

-A message is sent to the Sith Empire, stating the wish of a mercenary contract-

-Small ships and freighters in the area of Geonosis, Ryloth, and Lamerrd are attacked by Clan Bralor for supplies-

-Some children and/or men and women captured during raiding will be adopted into the clan if willing-

-All able-bodied men and women ages 10 and up are expected to fight (Thus is Mandalorian tradition)-

-All are expected to do their share of the keeping the ships up (Engineering, janitorial duties, Food and supplies, etc.)-

-If anyone is caught slacking, punishment will be given depending on the importance of their duty-

Czerka Corporation

latest?cb=20080704193815&path-prefix=de

"Paperwork. Always more damn paperwork.." CEO Suriti mutters to himself, sure nobody would hear him in the large, guarded office. He was alone, confident in the presence of the multiple guards standing watch against anyone hoping to barge into his office unannounced. He continued scribbling signatures and notes on papers as he passed them from tray to tray, making sure the secretary knew exactly what he wanted done to each in turn. It had been a handful of months now since his takeover of Citadel Station, though he preferred to call it an inheritance. It just so happened he was the next in line for the station when the previous CEO was fired for various scandals, many of which he claimed were false. Of course, Suriti made sure the higher-ups had a reasonable sum in their pockets when the report came. He thought over these memories for a long while, delaying his signatures, before keying his secretary in the next room.

"Helena, would you be a dear and send in some requisition papers and personnel files? I've got some innovative ideas I'd like to check over."

He, of course, wouldn't tell her about why he needed the papers, or what he planned to do. It wasn't on her payroll to know such things. As the papers were printed into the receiving tray, he took them up, scribbling down his orders before sending them off, the thought of the heavily damaged Citadel Station from some years past still fresh in his mind.

The papers are sent to various officers and laborers across the station and surface of Telos IV, ready to be executed post-haste.

Actions

-A force of 7,000 Mandalorians, 25,000 Security Personnel and 10,000 Mercenaries are stationed on Citadel Station, Telos itself in the Czerka regions, and on ships throughout the area around the planet under the control of Citadel Station.

-Construction of two droid factories on the surface of Telos begins, with approval from Corporate.

-A force of 10 Mandalorians, and 20 Security Personnel is stationed to serve as CEO Suriti's personal guard force.

-Two Hammerhead class cruisers, a Thranta class Corvette, two Defender class light corvettes, and four Wanderer class transport ships are stationed in orbit around Telos, under the command of CEO Suriti.

-CEO Suriti checks over trade agreements with the Sith and Republic, looking for any way to improve Czerka Corporation profits.

-Personnel files are sorted through, looking for any suitable spies for use on the Station, Planet, and away missions.

Cathar, of Cats and Criminals

As Dez Lehktim walked through the camp, he felt a slight twitch, and turned to face his second in command, who was several yards away still, approaching him at a brisk pace. As the Weren approached him, Dez nodded to him. The Weren, named Royd, followed him silently back to his tent, where two Twi'lek women where chained together, laying in the corner, battered and bruised. The Weren completely ignored the Twi'leks, as he had been instructed since their arrival. Dez walked over, and nudged them with his foot, promptly waking them. As soon as they realized it was him, they scrambled to their feet, and kneeled at his feet.

Dez walked over to the only chair in the tent, and sat down, looking to the Weren.

"So, Royd, what've we got today?"

Royd responded, keeping his voice quiet.

"Your Ex (The Exchange) has sent us a couple hundred more mercs, all of them as green as the swill we're forced to drink. We've also captured a couple Furballs (Cathar), nearly lost Nellis in the process though. Nellis is in transit back to the bird up top, to be fixed back up. He says he'll be back as soon as he's fixed up."

Dez nods twice, before grabbing the nearest Twi'lek, and slapped her. He dropped her to the ground in a pile, and started pacing his tent.

"Have a message sent to my Ex to send us some more good mercs, or we'll never get much further than this. And tell Nellis to get his ass back in gear as soon as possible. We don't have enough good mercs to lose any. And have the Furballs brought to my tent, I want to see them for myself."

Royd nodded, and strolled out of the tent. Dez sat back down, and rubbed his forehead. The Twi'leks sat kneeled calmly next to them, as they were "trained" to do.

Before long, the Cathar were shoved into the tent, and Dez stood, to face the two of them. A male and a female, dressed in rags. It was clear the female had been roughed up pretty badly. Dez strolled up to both, and grabbed the female, forcing her to look into his eyes. Before long, her eyes dulled, and she was just another puppet to play with. The male glared the entire time, seemingly unknowing of Dez's manipulation. Dez unlocked the female's handcuffs, and set her on the male. He was dead before he realized she was attacking him. She stood, covered in the male's blood, waiting. He had her go to sleep, using the male's body as a temporary bed, in the corner of the tent. He called Royd back in, and give him orders to pass out to the camp.

-ACTIONS-

1. Any "green" Mercs were to be trained by the competent Mercs.

2. A request was sent to the Exchange, to send more competent Mercs.

3. Royd was to take some of the stealthier Mercs, and attempt to capture some Cathar.

4. Mercs that were not being trained/training "green" Mercs, or capturing Cathar were to work on expanding the camp across the Vast Veldt, and take up more space, as to spite the Cathar people, and their "Blood Hunt".

Zan leaned back in the comfy chair of the shiny freighter, it couldn't have been more than a year old. He almost felt bad taking it over. Zan called to his second in command, "So, what were these Moof-Milkers hauling?" The younger mandalorian looked at a list of the freighters contents, "Freeze dried Bantha meat sir." he reported, standing at attention. Zan sighed, "Bantha meat.... What the sith are we going to do with 200,000 lbs of Bantha meat?" Another mandalorian entered the room and whispered to the younger mandalorian, The younger mandalorian nodded, excusing him, "There is something else sir, it appears they were also carrying illegal combat droids, specifically Hunter-killer droids sir." Zan smiled "Now that's what I call a good haul." Zan scratched at his beard idly "We need to put them to the test, and the men have grown lazy, Send the word out that we are accepting mercenary contracts, make sure you specifically send notice to the Sith, the Republic, Czerka corp, and the Hutts.

-A new smuggling freighter has been added to the Kaddaj clan fleet-

-A small contingent of Hunter killer droids is added to the Kaddaj clans forces-

"What a desolate swamp."

2eeedb56f4591e39ca4b22189cd9cb25.png

The skyline of Taris certainly wasn't what it once was as Jedi Knight Blair Ebonvar strolled around the Republic Base camp, watching troopers train and medical droids treat settlers with Rakghoul sickness. He smiled calmly as he watched the settlement's progress. There was an odd beauty to this world, he thought, despite its state as a crumbled ruin.

"Master Jedi!"

"Yes, commander?" Blair replied quietly. He didn't turn to look at the republic trooper who'd run up to him. He was Miraluka, the force was his vision in the absense of his eyes.

"We've nearly set up our energy field around the city. Command wants you to help scout out the area for any rakghoul stragglers."

"It will be done." The Jedi replied, strolling off to the city's borders.

Cantoria was a thriving city, home to about 200,000 residents of the Republic, mostly human. It was comprised both of new buildings, medical centres and cantinas as much as re-settled and re-furbished husks of massive skyscrapers from before Taris's orbital bombardment. The Republic would prove that this was a world worth re-settling, that no amount of destruction could stop hope from reblooming in the bastion of democracy in the galaxy.

Actions:

Republic dropships continue to supply Cantonia with arms and armour for the 20,000 troopers garrisoned in the area, along with medical supplies.

Domed energy fields are set up in the more fertile swamplands around the growing city, and farms are established, in order to provide the citizens of Cantonia with food.

Blair Ebonvar the Jedi Knight assumes direct control over the settlement's progress, as appointed by the Senate and the Jedi Council.

-On Tatooine there is some dissent at first from the brutal purge of criminals and hutt influence, but soon civilians realize with a proper law, even if it was harsh, they had a better chance to make something of their lives than under the arbitrary rule of Hutt employed gangs. As well, severals nearby Imperial worlds send some water to the Sith overseer, and the various unemployed people of Tatooine begin to join the Imperial efforts to create a functions infrastructure. Biologists also begin to join the efforts to create a habitable zone around Mos Eisley, testing various durable flora and fauna, while atmospheric scientists work with engineers to emulate the restoration efforts done on planets such as Telos.

-Dantooine is a giant farm, as some would say. Local estates begin to work with the self-proclaimed lord and are more than willing to take free labor to work the fields, going as far as to enslave their own workers even. The place once a Jedi haven, has shown even in the purest places the dark heart of men prevails. In the old Jedi temple, various jedi artefacts are found, and even a Jedi holocron of the ancient Master Vrook. Elsewhere, the ruins of some ancient alien race are here with a map at the end of the tunnel. Lord Tull would recognize this as the Star Map. Curious, but ultimately useless as the Star Forge was destroyed.

-Jhes Bralor would receive a holocommunication from the Dark Council, stating they and their whole clan would be hired for 5,000,000 credits per annum (yearly) provided they take the fight to the front lines with all due haste and assist Imperial troops on Balmora. This kicks the crew into motion, and they work double hard. An influx of captured individuals are found worthy of joining the clan at once, or upon turning 10, and you have enough crew to now take a Hammerhead-class cruiser over, and man it.

-Citadel’s Czerka branch finds quite a few eligible spies on the Station, and corporate approves droid construction facilities. Some advisors state that they should just take over the stations and then Telos, it has no formal government and the Republic doesn’t care for this backwater planet.

-On Cathar, the Exchange bosses send roughly 1000 veteran mercenaries on request, but state that this won’t happen again unless Dez proves his worth. Due to the ravages of the Mandalorian war, Cathar are often in small tribes and Dez easily captures some. The expansion of the camp turns it into a small pioneer town, with some vendors even setting up.

-Lord Delevasis would find the Zabrak willing to meet with him (Skype meeting). Fortification of the encampment goes well with no incidents, and supplies are sent in from the Empire.

-The Kaggaj clan would receive a contract from the Republic, 5,000,000 per annum provided they go to the front post haste and begin to assist Republic troopers on Balmora.

-On Taris, the Republic would find a colony in the sewers of 4,000 people who, upon tests, were immune to the Rakghoul plague, and were eager to join the Republic settlement, having spent 300 years worth of generations actually eating Rakghoul and living in sewers. Republic ships begin to send supplies to help expand the newly settled Cantonia

Tatooine

With the crack down on hutt employed gangs and criminal organizations around the planet things seem to settle down but soon large squads of infantry, imperial walkers and transports are pulled together using the information gained from torturing prisoners from previous hutt gangs before an assault is sent on the hutt cartel bases and supply depots. While the heavy attacks on hutt organizations commences the infrastructure and industry progress continues, the terraforming machinery getting heavy security to ensure no sabotage occurs. Mining operations are also set up along side the already established mining companies cooperating with them while mining the precious ores around.

~Actions~

- Large forces are sent out to dispatch the hutt cartel's outposts, bases and supply depots with ruthless assault, over powering them with heavy firepower and sometimes Aayla follows in to kill the heavily defended bases

- Work is done on making Mos Eisley(and the other cities but mainly Mos Eisley) neater, allowing better transportation and the likes.

- Terraforming continues to happen around the city.

(Will add on more later)

Czerka Corporation- Citadel Branch

1378780.jpg

CEO Suriti looked over the reports from Corporate, nodding his head slightly in approval. He checks over the remaining paperwork once more, before sending it off to be stored away in the countless rows of filing around the station. He keys for more papers, as he mulls over options in his head. He thinks of the planet below, and the possible promotions he could achieve by successfully holding the planet for a profit.

Actions

-A notice is sent to the Telos Council, claiming rightful ownership of the planet to be given to Czerka Corporation.

-A force of 7,000 Mandalorians, 10,000 Mercernaries, and 5,000 Security Force are readied for combat, ready to take the planet by force should they refuse. ((If they refuse the takeover, they would attack immediately, so I'd like it to happen on the same turn if able.))

-The populace of Citadel Station is put into lockdown for the expected storm of activity.

-All remaining Security forces are placed on high alert to defend key areas of Citadel Station and the Factories on the surface.
