Greetings folks and folkettes

Today we bring some exciting competitions to the mix, to flow along with our current agenda in place. We’ll be holding 3 competitions this month, hosted by yours truly, and the ever so wonderful pair, Wrynn and Nalatac. We'll be working together to hold the creative competition this month, and along with that; giving out many prizes. We hope to see many submissions by yourself and your friends, so get creative!

 

These trio of Competitions will run from now till the 12th of May so ensure to get your entries in before then!

Building

Hello everyone, It’s Wrynn here, and I’ll be hosting a Building Competition to most of your delight. I’ll have two themes for you this month, and it’s your task to create these themes in the medium of minecraft at your best possible ability!

 

All you have to do to enter, is PM me with the theme you have chosen (or if you have chosen both), then include the screenshots of your builds that revolve around the theme set!

Skins

Salutations frie nds, Tahmas is h ere to deliver and host a similarly artistic contest in conjunction with the Building and Art contest, held by both Wrynn and Nalatac respectively. Holding a consistent theme with the previously motioned competitions, the Skin Competition will open doors for all members of the Lord of the Craft skinning community to get involved with the artistic competitions.

 

All that is needed to submit, is to PM me with the theme you have chosen, and include screenshots of the Skins you have created.

Art

Howdy folks, Nalatac stopping by to host an artistic contest. Continuing on with the themes present in both the Creative Building Contests and the Skinning Competition, this contest of art will have two categories to submit artwork for. In this Art Competition, I will be accepting all artists of all skill and tenure to work off of the similar themes as the others.

 

All one needs to do to enter, is PM me with the themes you have chosen,and include the image, watermarked or otherwise, of the art you have created.

Prizes

There will be prizes for each theme individually for each contest! So, if you enter into both of the themes, you do have the chance of winning to both prizes! However do make sure that you’ve worked hard on your entries!

The Themes

Now obviously the competition wouldn't be complete without some wondrous themes for each competition to work off of, now would it? Take a gander at these beautiful themes and see what you can make with the following:

 

High Fantasy Forest

There is some concept art included below that may help you visualise what you’d like to work on, or work off of. Nevertheless, interpret the theme in your own way! Individual trees, whole forests, floating waterfalls made of trees for building, fauna or flora for skins and a plethora of possibilities for artwork. However you interpret the theme!

Steampunk

Once again, this can include many many things, however it’s up to you to interpret it how you wish! Perhaps vast cities, organic model of a steampunk engineer for the builders, or maybe some golems and clockwork figures for the skinners? Definitely a great bredth of room for those creative artists out there. Go crazy, design whatever you’d like! Here’s some concept art that you may find useful:

Joke entries will be ignored and any and all entries which fall under the following (Pornographic, Explicit, Racism/Sexism, Offensive Content, Plagiarized Material) will be deemed inappropriate and will be met with the appropriate response from the Global Moderation Team. Use your brain, if you believe what you are creating may be offensive, copied or in any way violates this rule, moderate yourself before we are forced to do so for you.

Collaborative projects are welcomed, though the prize won't be increased because two people made the art. The prize will simply be split.
