I think it would be cool to have some kind of hibernating monsters begin to wake up lore wise and mc'ly the gm's just turn monster spawning waaaaay up.

I don't have any opinion on what the actual event should be or how/why we leave to the next world but please don't make the event itself too long or force us to rp on the boats or anything similar. Most people just logged off after a few minutes of the last transition event and had to wait a while to get into the new world/realm.

To be clear, the people organizing the transition events at the time had no control over the length of time spent on the boats. That was never supposed to last even close to as long as it did. We unfortunately were held up waiting for the techs to stop enjoying their IRL lives and actually put up the new map/plugins.

As long as its well planned and longer than like 1 hour before I'm chill. Couple weeks of events beforehand would be dope.

What kind of event would you like to see?
I want an event where we discover some portal as the world slowly dies or something(idea is up for grabs). However, the portal we go through would bring us to an alternative timeline of Aegis. In this timeline, the races have died off or are simple just gone(To prevent an overlap) and what w're left is for the more part a pristine world that has ruins here and there.
Would you rather see the descendants pushed off our current land, or giving incentive to move themselves?
 Why not both?
If you want to be pushed off, how so? If you want incentive, what would that be?
Again, Why not a combination of both? Never has to be one or the other.
How should we travel to the next map (boat, portal, etc)?

Portal.

What kind of event would you like to see?
Tripods with particle beams The descendant's own greed and warfare have ravaged the land beyond salvation, or awakened something terrible.

Would you rather see the descendants pushed off our current land, or giving incentive to move themselves?

Isn't the promise of total annihilation incentive enough?

If you want to be pushed off, how so? If you want incentive, what would that be?

Tripods with particle beams An antagonists that doesn't suck.

How should we travel to the next map (boat, portal, etc)?

Bigass rafts.

A complete / map / lore / character wipe - a big event where everyone dies and we have to start a new. Fresh.

This can open up chances for new lores to be accepted and some old ones if brought back while mass-decluttering everything.

We should reverse engineer a nether portal, or a black hole thing opens up, so it starts sucking everything into the nether. Then our transition event can be held in the nether until we find a way out

Good luck getting that passed, my friend.

Can we have a transition that doesn't involve some massively powerful force shoving us off. I doubt every plane of existence just has one land mass xD

I feel like it should be a Descendant problem that sends the Descendants seeking greener pastures. Corrupted leaders or over-cultivation of the land, radical groups causing chaos (read: not cultists) or overcrowding. That, or a natural disaster such as a volcano erupts and the blackened sky causes animals and plants to die, prompting us to find somewhere the sun breaks through, or a hurricane, tsunami, earthquake ruptures the daily life here badly enough that we can't live here anymore. Either way, I'm sick to death of magical, deific apocalypses.

See Zero's post.

Let's mix things up, instead of going to a land that's somehow divided into regions perfect for each race, let's take it to somewhere inhospitable. Take Morrowind for example. It's an ash-covered, cult-infested, fiery wasteland. And yet Dunmer are farming and calling the place home. They don't have regular animals to get their leather and meat from, they have floating squid brain creatures on steroids.

Then there's also Solsteim, the island up north. It's still an extreme terrain and filled with danger, but it's not the same old ashlands.

As for transition (I probably went way off topic with the above), just do something that's natural. Or something that's bound to kill off (And I mean kill, PK, Go bye bye, Adios, whatever you want to call it) a whole lot of people, or at the very least those willing to PK/Put toon on the shelf and make a new character. We've been going at the same old grudges, same old people, same old leaders for 3-4 maps now. Let's start over. Not a complete wipe, but at the very least clean it up.

What kind of event would you like to see?

I would personally like to see an exodus created by the players.  For instance, imagine some sort of magic user war that ravages the land in some way.

Would you rather see the descendants pushed off our current land, or giving incentive to move themselves?

Forced to leave for whatever reason I suppose.

If you want to be pushed off, how so? If you want incentive, what would that be?

Like I said earlier, some sort of catastrophic magic war that causes the land to be uninhabitable.

How should we travel to the next map (boat, portal, etc)?

Boat is tried and true, I suppose.
