Quite simple, anyone who has any hidden lore and believes it is absolutely important to keep it hidden then please contact me or another LM and we will dispute this case. Otherwise, any player who has henceforth submitted private lore will now be viable for release. We will steadily be releasing any lore that isn't of significance importance to be hidden (i.e. event lines, lore that will be steadily released IG, so on and so forth.)

If you do not approach one of us by tomorrow night then expect your lore to be publically released and as previously mentioned I will henceforth be disallowing the submission of private lore unless you believe it is absolutely necessary.

I know I mentioned this in the group chat but, I just worry that by giving the people to argue their point of it being hidden, then it will one day return to how is is/was. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for this change overall. Just.. all teams after a reform lose steam after a while. I just hope the team doesn't get lose too much of their integrity and allow hidden lore to be argued easily.

Hidden lore will absolutely not be easy to pass through under any circumstance. There must be a viable reason, a good one, at that. Even then I'm on the line about keeping it hidden.

Event lines and such are NOT hidden lore.

Hidden lore is lore that is being used in roleplay, affecting people with it, but without allowing people to see it, specially those who are being subjected to it. This means anyone making use of "hidden lore" has nothing stopping them from powergaming and breaking rules, with there being no way for anyone to tell if such is the case or not. It's unfair, empowers powergaming and there is asbolutely no good reason for it to have ever existed in the first place.

You should make the distinction between actual hidden lore and eventlines. Remove all hidden lore that is not made public, keep event planning as it's always been.

No, but they relate to lore as a whole and when I say in the manner of 'event lines' I mean a piece of lore that has been produced as is hidden albeit will remain hidden until the conclusion of said event like. Similar to an ET producing hidden lore, creating an event line around it, and requesting we maintain that it is hidden up until the point of conclusion. Hidden lore will never, under my lead, be something that correlates to the augmentation of player groups, let alone a singular player.

Awesome work so far Tsuyose. Hopefully this will work out as well as we all want it to. I'm guessing lore approval will be really slow for the next few weeks while you get all this sorted out?

The reason people may want lore hidden is, and this has been proven through experience, as soon as a weakness in lore has been leaked everybody and I do mean EVERYBODY is now an expert at killing whatever creature you are. I'm honest in RP and will emote properly, but often times victims are far from it.

Indeed. Apologies for any stagnancy on that behalf. Once I have the team appropriately sorted we'll be going through lore.

That is something that could probably be fixed though, albeit with a good amount of effort on the LT's part. The LT could edit some of the pages so that these weaknesses or information important for beating them so that they are still in there in descriptions or tiny details, but not apparent. They're hidden in the text in such a way that it will encourage thoroughly reading the lore instead of just skimming for weaknesses, and would reward people who are fairly good at analyzing text. Or, as an alternative solution, try and remove blatant descriptions of things whose weaknesses wouldn't be either common knowledge, common sense, or already demonstrated in lore. But put these important details in the game, at the great libraries. That would give people who aren't alchemists or mages a good reason to visit those libraries while also removing a good part of the potential for power gaming.

That's worth a grand thumbs up into the air. You have made more as a Lore Team Director in a week than the previous Lore Team in months. Continue your fabulous work and be a positive influence to the server.
