"So," a younger elf said aloud, though to himself for all that, "I suppose this would be a bad time to, say, announce wedding a half Uruk/Elf in Johannesburg Cathedral?"

"Thought I stopped this from happening." grumbles a deceased Andrik, from whatever place his soul floated off to. "I suppose I had to wipe out the entire ruling regime instead of just killing the Emperor."

"Ugh" says Lucia, the youthful orenian maid yet unbeaten according to custom. "What if I IDENTIFY as a half elf? Does that make me an abomination? Why does the emperor have to be so BIGOTED. It's 1582! I HATE Oren now!"

Mithius takes a good look into his wardrobe, his tailors giving him solid advice on how he can both stay fashionable and hide his bejeweled ears.

Some swamp elf rubs his hands together Savoyardly, cackling in glee over the persecution of the impure.

Shamas, though not that fond of non-humans, can't help but worry about the direction the Empire is moving. First non-humans, next maybe far-folk, or anyone but heartlanders. He shudders at the thought.

A superlatively laughing Locklear publishes a poem.

First they came for the non-humans, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a non-human.

Then they came for the Farfolk, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Farfolk.

Then they came for the degenerates, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a degenerate.

Then they came for me - and there was no one left to loudly complain without lifting as much as a finger.

Prenkus would be overcome with joy upon reading the article, frantically running about Mordskov gathering his brothers for a meeting around the campfire, where he would then stand up and read the article aloud to all their amazement.

Monk Floyd would look at Prenkus, then at a "certain Holy Ser", then back at Prenkus. "Um..."

Aife would read this in the middle of Oren, soon after finishing wondering how come she now heard of this. "Well this ees new."

Dawn would pick up the paper reading it over. "THE ONLY REASON THEY EVEN FIND OUT CAUSE THE FREAKS META-GAME!" (void)

"Bring it."
