I'd feel a lot happier if the administration updated us more on situations and was more informative, but sadly I find this constantly happens from a certain banning incident about a month ago to the recent mojang problem and now SKY. The best way the administration can help this community is by talking to people and listening, after all that's what they're meant to do, no?

It is sad that people have to twist things around and even go against the rules to just appease others and not get in trouble themselves. What example is the admins setting for us if they cannot even deal with things properly themselves? It is immature and rather disgusting in the end of the day only to leave a sour taste in people's mouths. If you are angry, then be angry...but I don't see Sky trying to physically attack the admins.

If anything he is saying: "Dude, why are you not talking to me? Why can't we fix this? Stop beating around the bush and just speak to me like an adult and actually do something that will help this situation wrong. Tell me I am wrong, with reason. I just seek the truth, man." At least from my stand point...and now we just wait...wait for the truth and see if Sky can justify his actions.

I like Sky, I think he's one of the most fun ET's I've ever worked with. If there's a just reason for removing him, the playerbase will understand, just tell us the reasoning! There's enough drama on server from the playerbase without staff's own and I'm not sure, at this point, that I'd be interested in the job were I Sky. Nobody likes to be ignored in this manner, except for my second cousin's ex roommate's brother in law... I mean, does this mean that I can have three of my friends file anon staff reports about anyone I don't like to have them removed from their teams? How is that good or right or just? Just because I might think that Sid's a tool (used him as an example because I know he's not, tyvm) doesn't make him a bad GM.

If I'm honest, the topic of admin intervention seems to be becoming quite frequent. 

"Admins did this, admins did that. Admins stopped my coup! Oh no, you can't do this, why? Admins said so! Boo hop. Tough luck."

It doesn't cut it. Most of the ET will agree sky has been one of the best ET leads for a long while. Now why was he removed? Why? Not sure. 'Communication issues?' I don't see Telanir communicating with us much (No hard feelings m'potato Telanir), most my further arguments on this side were summed up by Jaeden when he posted the following:

Do  you know what else has put my brain in a confuzzled state? These anonymous or 'hidden' staff reports. In discord I have been told there were some submitted over Skype. What? What now? Admins can make the rules and what to do up on the spot nowadays and can post the post with updated rules after (oof, yeah, people remember the coups and the fuss that happened and how stuff was changed in the moment), I'm pretty sure I don't see anything in Pandan's anonymous staff report release post that says; “feel free to hit us up on Skype btw so only one admin can see it, dw, not a problem. ;)”. 

 

Yeah. We don't like it, stop. You feel fine and dandy with altering our teams and leads but as those in power you don't change after heaps of criticism or hate. I suppose you don't realise your actions half the time.. or your statements. Oops, yeah, I've been told about how admins have loopholed their own powerful statements before, “the admins are sorta like a council and majority rules blah blah.” Only to later say something like; “We can make our own decisions on matters.” Excuse me, what?

 

Bring back Sky, we like him.

Hello, yes, I can confirm that at least some of the anonymous staff reports are real, I was involved in one--

 

Though then again the one I was involved in was more "hey don't do that" slap on the wrist kind of stuff at worst, so I doubt that was the reason why Sky was removed, unless it wasn't the only one around. Even if we've got bad blood, I wouldn't want him completely losing all these titles over it.

 

The point of anonymous staff reports is to remain anonymous, but I guess since everyone's so upset I should at least say something.

Don't, now they're going to target you for reporting him. They make staff reports anonymous so the players reporting the staff members aren't assaulted for it. If you made a report on sky keep it to yourself and the administration. They don't have to tell sky anything, sky knows what he did wrong he doesn't have to be told what it is. If you're a staff member and you make a mistake you can expect to be removed from the team, it's the way things are. 

 

 

Edit: To those of you saying we have 'inactive' tumors running the staff, you have no idea what inactivity is. Telanir, Tahmas and Tythus have been working their asses off to keep the server AND forums running despite the blacklist. They've been contacting Mojang and slaving away for days trying to revoke the blacklist and fix this mess yet, this is how Sky and YOU repay them? They're not bad people, they own the server like a CEO owns a company... show some respect. 

 

Be glad we aren't a server like.. Uthrandir. They actually had inactive tumors for staff. They're entire community died out due to their administration, don't deny it.
