Bastion, once the proud jewel of the west, a beacon of humanity,

is now the home of hordes of ghouls and all other dark beings.

Forcefully stripped away by Mordring, ruler of the Abyss. 

 

Ravens peck on the remaining corpses of the voluntarly members, who face the death,

as silent ghouls lunger through the streets, shuffling over the ground and dragging their weapons behind them.

On top of the Mountain of Bastion was the former so proud shining palance, once home of Caius Horen and his family.

But now other unholy entites have claimed the throne and rule over the land with their iron digits.

 

And as the day pass on, and the fire continues to devour of what is left of Bastion, a swarm of raven leaves the palace,

carrying a message to all institution of the realms.

 

Written in a dark ink, it'd say

 

 

"You have all fought proudly and honorable. You were standing your ground, protecting what was once claimed by the King of the West.

 

But now it's over. This conflict got resolved. We, servants of Mordring got our revenge, after being threatend by the King of the West and stripped off our land.

 

Let us be and do not return. Mordring does not seek to take your lands, as he did not intend to take the Westerlands, before Caius was taking ours.

 

Every attempt of 'reclaiming' our land, will be put into our consideration to face you next. Be wise and return to your homes, mortals.

 

Do not return. Or the whips will crack again.
