Denunciation of Urguan

On the 2nd of the Sun’s Smile, 1628, it was reported to the Iron Council of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah that Frerir Irongrinder, Grand Marshal of the Legion of Urguan, had committed wonton assault and seriously injured several citizens of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah. An act that would in typical circumstances, be viewed as a declaration of war.

Edel Silvervein, Clan Father of the Silvervein clan was sent a raven by the dishonorable Throri Stonemace, requesting a meeting take place in Kal’Omith. The meeting was intended to resolve the ongoing feud between the Stonemace and Silvervein clans. Upon meeting, Edel and his small entourage came to reason with Throri, that he would stand trial for his crimes in New Jornheim. Reaching agreement upon these terms, the group set out on the road for Kaz’Ulrah.

Whilst journeying to their destination, Throri, typical of his nature, had a change of heart and fled his entourage, falling back on his agreement. There, he fell all the way back to Kal’Omith, where he entreated Frerir Irongrinder and one of his soldiers to come out and confront his problems for him. Bewildered and surprised, Edel and his men had begun to leave for home when they were halted by Frerir and his honourable brigands. They were lightly armed and on a mission of diplomatic status, resolving a blood dispute that lay beyond the jurisdiction of any kingdom’s laws, but that did not spare them from the merciless blows of the Legion. They were beaten to a pulp and left for dead.

In addition to these unprovoked actions, the so called ‘Black Riders of Urguan’ make frequent nightly visits to New Jornheim, when they know the majority of the guard is off duty. They harass the civilians, spewing blasphemy and lies, and flee at the sight of arms. These vagabonds and spineless dwarves are the very example of what a dwed, of Yemekar’s chosen, should NOT be, yet it has been reported that the main rider is also a commander in the Urguanite Legion. It only furthers the resolve of those of us who have fled from the rotting Kingdom of Urguan, which continues to lay false claim that its best interests are for ALL of Urguan’s sons.

This is our only warning to the ‘Grand’ Kingdom of Urguan. Cease your aggressions immediately, pay recompense for your Grand Marshal’s crimes with a gift in good faith, of three thousand mina. If not, may Dungrimm judge you for your dishonour.

"We fooked em today, we'll fook em tommara! I'd like to see these gits try to get us Blackaxes, we will nae be so easy to fook with!"

Charles "The Bald" looks at his fellow legionaries before starting a speech :

My fellow dweds,

I've never heard of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah before, no one ever recognized their legitimacy yet, they call themselves a kingdom.

They never based their kingdom on honor, loyalty and valor like we did but rather on plotting in people's back and starting rebellions.

They had to purchase land from a human noble, that makes them vassals.

They are true dwarven trash.

He would chuckle a bit then end his speech with logic :

Should you fear the man that did not have enough balls to declare himself king of his own kingdom ?

Should you fear the man that has started a rebellion three times and failed three times ?

Never.

It is clear that this man has gone crazy.

He would then invite every one of his legionaries to the tavern, spending his on gold to buy them drinks.

Deneryn would be happily strolling along the isles of the Kal'Omith supermarket, buying his daily goods when he heard the news spread through the cashiers like wild fire. Setting his carriage to the side, he steps outside and screams these words into the winds:

"I thought the fat bastads of Urguan couldnae figh', and I guess I wos righ'. Yeh backstabbin' *******. Now, yeh've forced meh hand. Time for a favorite quote of mine! 'KINDLEH CLUCK OFF, BEFORE I EXTRACT YER GIBLETS AND SHOVE A LARGE SEASONED ONION BETWEEN THE LIPS YEH NEVEH KISS WITH.'"

Azhagal's pants hung around his ankles as he'd let the news greet his ears and taken a leak up a tree, a soft little chuckle running from beneath his beard before he'd buckled himself back up and slapped his old friend over the shoulder "So Edel ah'd go'en 'imself kicked in th' arse by some'un..?" The Frostbeard's hand slapping his old friend over the shoulder as he'd burst into a fit of laughter. "Do me'h a favour, an' fin' whoever'd kicked 'is arse! A' want t'e shake t'eir 'and!" His laughter following him down the road.

Garrond Frostbeard would hear of Charles’ inaccurate and poorly written speech, and would gather a crowd of his own in New Jornheim, where he would dish out the truth.

“Some of you may have have heard Charles the Insignificant’s speech in Kal’Omith which was riddled with lies and inflammatory statements, aimed to rouse us, the public of Kaz’Ulrah. I am here to right the wrongs which he has stated, and to issue the truth to the Dwarven populace.

The Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah is a recently founded Kingdom in New Jornheim. It is made up of the Frostbeard, Goldhand, Silvervein and Blackaxe clan and is ruled by High King Verthaik II Frostbeard, and his Iron Council. The fact that Charles is so oblivious of his surroundings is another story altogether, who’s fault cannot be laid on us, but his brain.

The Frostbeard Clan, which is the clan that founded the city of New Jornheim, capital of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah, only rebelled twice in it’s history. Once under the reign of the Mountain Monarch Verthaik Frostbeard, which resulted in a loss. The second time under Grand King Kerwyr Frostbeard, when him and his valiant warriors were able to overtake the Legion and push them out of Kal’Omith for three years, until he was betrayed by one of his own. Indeed, at that point, it was no longer a rebellion, but a war. So in reality, the rebellion was a success. Furthermore, there was no third time. The Frostbeards were independent by then. Perhaps we should fund a history lesson for this clown.

To close, I find it amusing that this Charles figure finds it his right to spew such nonsense about honor, when he rides into New Jornheim once a night when the guards have gone to sleep. He threatens unarmed civilians, and then when confronted, always flees. Perhaps if you would stay to fight for once, we could maybe talk about honor. But until then, I suggest you stay in your little snake hole, lest your forked tongue give your true nature away.”

Garrond Frostbeard would step down from the podium as he goes to shake hands with the now enlightened crowd.

Darain Blackaxe frowns upon hearing the news of the atrocious actions of Frerir Irongrinder and his soldiers. Darain shakes his head.

"T'ese aggressions are uncalled fer en dishonor t'e Kingdom ov Urguan, even Gror 'ad allowed fer t'e independence ov t'e citeh, as 'e knew war between dwed-kind is not t'e priority ov our race. Torvin would be in the tavern of Jornheim with his brethren. He'd tell them a tale of what happened in Kal'Omith that certain day. "And t'en ah missed moh explosive arrow and hit their Kingsguard in dah head!" The whole tavern would start to laugh loudly. "More ale on meh, aye aye!" He'd take out a pouch of minas walking up to the bartender. "T'was ah good day"

Frerir Irongrinder bursts into laughter as he receives a copy of that paper. "War then." he would then continue laughing.

"Yer own man attacked one of mine by throwin' his spear at him, now ye call me dis'onorable for defending ma lands."

Barradin Frostborn chuckles as he hear the news

"the Urguanites are irrelevant and they know it. They are trying to flex their non-existing military to prove to the world they are still around.. We'll see about that"

-Thoak is told of the news within the streets of Jornheim, at the dinner table as a guest, and in his own clanhall by the few clansmen that reside there currently. During all three occasions he would say the same thing: -

"Urguan was lost after the reign of Grand King Thorin the Great. Ever since his reign, the Empire has degraded into a kingdom, and our people turned to peasants squabbling over pieces of mince meat. I saw this long before anyone else did, but nobody believed me. The dwed currently living within Urguan are not the same dwed that nearly exterminated the Uruks, and the War Nation back in Asulon. They are definitely not the ones who toiled in the fabled halls of Urguan either. Those dwed wouldn't of let Urguan decay to what it is now. Instead, these dwed are beardlings corrupted, and led astray by Khorvad. They only care for vanity, and their own riches like the elves they let squat on Kal'Omith. If any dwed out there still remains loyal to the corrupted, just know that your kingdom is partially ran by elves, and that no son of Urguan would of allowed such a thing."
