They Didn't Even Get A Chair This Time...?

The Councilors of Arcadia and various citizenry gathered in the main hall of The Citadel as the sun slowly set over the horizon. Gathering to either side of the hallway, Frerir Irongrinder and Olijia Grandaxe slowly approached the Arch-Runelord who stood with staff in hand before the fountain. As they came to a stop before him, he nodded to both of them before speaking. He twisted his hand about his staff and a Belka rune across one section of its length began to glow, his words echoing throughout the hall.

Scholars of Arcadia! Citizens of The Citadel! Today we gather to bring light to yet another act of violence against our peaceful folk. In the late hours of this stone day we were once again assaulted by many of the same Frostbeards and their ilk who gathered to break in before. Yet this time was far different from the last as we also gather to honor an act of heroism in these dark times.

He gestures with a hand to Olijia and Frerir. With his gesture, two of the smaller golems step forward to pin medals on the chests of the two as he continues to speak.

When these assailants broke through several of the doors at the gate it was Frerir and Olijia who moved to the defenses. Those that were not burned were killed by blade and, despite the fact that they were outnumbered and poorly armed, these brave two were terrifying enough in their defense that the traitor King, Torvin Blackaxe, would rather jump to his death than face them. So we gather today to make known more than just the treachery of these Frostbeards. We gather to honor the heroism of these two who would defend their kin and the citizenry of this city.

He tucks his staff beneath his arm, clapping loudly now along with the rest of the hall’s occupants.

Frerir Irongrinder smiles to Olijia as he re-arms the lava traps. "Oi t'oug't dwed could fly" he says as he orders his golem to pike Hamlin's head on the pathway of Arcadia.

He would then light a candle next to Torvin's remains.

Olijia walks to the gate, seeing a certain Frostbeard attempt to blow  hole through the gate to escape the approaching lava! As he does so, he blows himself up, being launched into the lava, his corpse burning up along with that of his comrades. As the lava pulls away, Olijia turns to chase one of the remaining frostbeards, who, after staring horrified, turns tail and attempts to leave as quickly as he can. Shamefully, he is met with a closed door, and then, with a warhammer strike to the back of his skull, spelling his doom.

Not much later, Olijia and Frerir are searching the grounds for any Frostbeards that might've escaped their notice. When looking behind one of the buildings, she'd find Torvin Blackaxe huddled on the ground. Desperate to escape, Torvin hacks his axe towards Olijia, who manages to get out of range, before stepping up again in an attempt to close the distance for her own strike. At this, however, the terrified Torvin decides he'd rather not face the furious Olijia, and launches himself off the side of Arcadia... The result? His body smashing against the floor, and staining the surrounding area red. A little later, Olijia heads down with the cleanup golems, to find Torvin's splattered corpse laying there. The golems scrape him off the floor, and dispose the remains in a nearby pit.
